At least if 3 other people turn up and they've all forgotten their kit, you should have enough to go around! 😊👍 Have a fantastic day mate. You're doing an awesome job of raising money for a good cause. 💪❤
Best of luck Ben and team! Hope you have an awesome time. Big thumbs up to the ginger roars, I got to use these this summer for the first time and really like the taste and caffeine boost. Have a great run 🏃🏻
Cheers Rachel! Looking forward to some fun on the trails. 😊👍 Ginger roars are great. Always work for a little lift. I hope you're alright and recovering well after the A100. 😎🤘
Fabulous preparation and thanks for sharing . I must get some of those montane warm gloves/muffs. Will be following your progress Ben 🏃🏻♂️👊 Fabulous total on your fund raise now too !! 🎉
Cheers Michael! I hope you are recovering well from the A100. The prism mitts are superb for the winter mate. I suffer with raynauds and they really help. Thanks for all the support as always buddy! 😎🤘
Nice to see all the stuff you're using and taking. The biscuits thing is great, I often just like to have just a slice of plain bread, easy on the stomach, but something to chew on. Look forward to hearing all about it.
Cheers Marc! Forgot to mention watches! I will be wearing both my watches but I am interested to see if I can finish the run before the Race S dies. Thanks for all the support as always bud! 😎🤘
Blimey longer kit preparation than most of my runs but you never need so much preparation for 2 strides on towpaths for a detailed shoe review. Interesting shoe selection after Hoka, I thought you might go for Mizuno & New Balance with maybe On sprayed on having trained in adidas but I guess shoes you have selected yourself probably best. And no white GORE-TEX shoes. I can vouch for them. Mud on heels risk must be sky high at the moment so watch yourself out there and hope it goes well. Hero!
🤣 had to be thorough Tim. As for the mizunos and NB maybe I will give them a go if they decide to ship me across the world 🤣 The risk of mud on hills is basically at 100% I would think 🤣
You've got enough kit there to last for 200k! Some nice pieces in your selection, hopefully, you get some decent weather & don't need to change into everything in your bag 😉 Good luck for the big day, it's getting close now 😀
🤣 always best to have it and not need it. Also I will.ve able to lend bits of some of the support runners are short in kit. 🤞 I will not need half of it. 😎🤘
You’re so prepared can’t wait! I’d be interested in how the Instinct pack is? I need something bigger than the Salomon 12L for the. Or there Traverse. Love the t-shirt design, great idea, best of luck 👍
Cheers François! Looking forward to having some fun on the trails mate. 😎🤘 I am planning on using this as a long distance test of the pack so I can get a review together with my experiences from the run. Really putting it to the test 🤣
I make my own energy balls and drinks, however I just discovered those Naak energy waffles doing the daunting Boffi Fifty at Les Templiers (south of France) same day you did your phenomenal run … I slipped one into my pocket at an aid station out of curiosity really and at about 40km on the 5th giant climb straight up for 2 kms, that waffle totally saved me!!! Just curious please Ben why you chose the Tecton X over the Mafate Speed?? And how would you compare the 2 shoes please?? Thanks, and again huge CONGRATS!!🎊 🍾 🥂
That sounds wicked Bev. What do you put in them? The naak waffles are pretty tasty! I have a few friends doing some of the Les Templier races maybe you ran the same race as them. Not sure of the distance they ran though so I couldn't tell. I will have to check their Strava. I have been really loving the Tectons very bouncy and cushioned. A really really comfortable shoe and I think the plate helped me over the long distance as it helped keep my legs moving. Well worth checking out if you can justify the price tag Bev. Thanks for all the support! 😎🤘
Such great work on this Ben, all the organisation and fundraising. I'd hoped to make it along to run some of it with you but a couple of people I coach are doing the Beachy Head Marathon so need to go along to support so sorry I can't share some miles with you! Will be sending good vibes on the day, sure you'll all do a cracking job and hope the shorts don't get shredded 😂
Thanks Ben! Beachy Head will be brilliant as always. Best of luck to your athletes mate! They have a great coach so I am sure they will smash it! Hope to see you soon bud. 😎🤘

I need to take a leaf out of your kit planning book.
This is great, Ben. No detail forgotten and planned so well. Good luck!

It’s weird to see you sitting down in a video my brain can’t compute 😂
It was a carefully produced green screen effect - he didn’t film his legs - he’s actually running !
Sorry Shaun I won't do it again mate 🤣👍
Is there tracking dude and is it this weekend?
Just got the tracker today mate. Here's the link 👇
