    Tim,
    Your videos are by far the best tutorials out there.
    I love the simplicity of this knot, it is beautiful.
    Are there any other weaves you could do for the cuff besides the cobra stitch, and if so, I would love to see a video with other options for the cuff section. I suppose a fishtail braid would work..
    Thanks so much!
    ~Dogfish~

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Chris Locicero Thanks for the kind words Chris! There are many other weaves that would work with this one. The fishtail, shark jaw bone, snake knot... pretty much any design that is woven over a two strand core.

    This was a great tutorial. Thank you for it.
    Even though this was a very clear tutorial, I was wondering how I could go about making a knot and loop version of this. A response would be helpful, thank you for your time.

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could do this with a knot and loop, but the strands where you attach the buckles will have to be one strand double over on one end so you have a loop and the other side can be the knot. Its hard to explain here. If I have time I'll make a tutorial, but I've got a lot on my plate as of now.

    What type of lighter do you have? I know you typically don't do them but you should do a lighter review on it. I am a fellow paracordist and can't wait to get a butane torch lighter for better melting than a barbecue/zippo lighter haha. So I saw yours in this video and it looked great. Thanks!

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Campbell Taylor The lighter I use is actually some no name chinese made lighter I got at a local store. I don't know where to get them online, so I may not do a review on it seeing as how I can't tell you or anyone else where to get one, but I think any jet lighter is much better than a bbq lighter or zippo lighter as you said! :)

    • @TheWeaversofEternity

      Loo Lin Yes, you can do it without buckles. You may just have to melt the two strands on one side together to form a loop and then tie a stopper knot on the other.

  • @SkyeCH

    HI Tim, is this bracelet able to be weave in loop and diamond knot stopper method? cos im not really a big fan of buckle? Thanks for the advice!

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Skye Foo It's possible, but you'd have to use one long strand of paracord doubled over on one end to make the loop part.

  • @Kamo7s

    My question on this is you give the length of the cords needed, but you never mention the overall length of the bracelet itself. Would it be possible for you to let me know? I want to make this one but I'm just starting out and have a limited amount of cord, so I have to be frugal with my scraps at this point in time.

    What size bracelet did you end up with? I have 7.5“ wrist. What lengths would you suggest?

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Blackstar65 I have a 6.5" wrist and the bracelet fits me quite snugly. You can add about a an inch of length to the core strands and maybe a foot to the longer weaving strands

    Why not add the clip earlier and tie the ends under the last few knots, then no need to singe or loosen knots you already tied. You could also tie a ball in one end and loop the other end back if you don't want a buckle. Thanks for the great demos.
