That’s a great idea to get rid of books after being unread for 3 or 4 years! Some of my backlisted books make me tired of seeing them on my shelves 😂 and this point if I want to read them better to just get them from the library where they’ll be waiting whenever I’m ready 😊
just to note- the main character in “in the lives of puppets” is actually asexual! plus his love interest is non-human (android/robot) so it wouldn’t be possible anyways! aside from a few sex related jokes made by the comedic relief characters, the book is all and all not sexual at all. i will say, though, the ending is quite bittersweet and the sci-fi element is heavy with the plot so i totally understand you on that page.
I used to have a room full of books, but it became so overwhelming that I avoided reading at all. I donated every single one of the books and started fresh. I keep a written list of books I’ve read and books I want to read. From the list of books I want to read I will only have 10 physical copies at a time, work my way through them then donate once read and then buy the next ten.
This is why seeing booktubers with these long list of TBRs makes me have a TBR that goes from books bought from the past to present or in chronological order and that is how my TBR cart is setup as well
I understand wanting to buy books; however, that is another reason I love my kindle paperwhite. I don’t hardly own any books. I don’t like all the clutter!
Just grabbed The Ex Hex (thanks, Liv! xox)!! I loved that one and I’m so happy to have it in my library soon. You also gave me the extra push to finally get rid of Piranesi - I was in the minority and didn’t enjoy that one. Maybe I should start a Pango too. Great unhaul!

It’s pretty self explanatory! You take a picture within the app to set up a listing, scan the barcode & it will automatically plug in all the info with a suggested price! When you sell a book, they send an email to print a label & that’s it. 🤗
I loved the Stephanie Plum series in high-school (Janet Evanovich) ...just an easy and fun read. This is a good reminder to reread! Also, I haven't read Finlay Donovan...so I'll add that to my list. Along the same type of cozy as the Stephanie Plum Series....have you read The Spellman Files series? Its by Lisa Lutz...also love it!

Sometimes I'm re reading after +5 years (like My little Prince, Harry Potter....) so I kept them. I just want to be around by books that I LOVE. I'm doing this for my clothes, make up.. thanks to Marie Kondo, her methods really works for me

I find unhaul video soo satisfaying ! Still you should keep the Joël Dicker one and give it a shot, he is one of my fav autor and I’m not a mystery/thriller girl 👀 If someone is capable of keeping your attention for more than 500 pages it’s him
So, I might be one of the people who accidentally read One for the Money by Evanovich and I must say, surprising good. I picked it up thinking it will be a DNF for sure and boy was I surprised. Give it a chance if you have time. I think it's the Finlay Donovan before Finlay Donovan was Finlay Donovan... if you know what I mean 😂😅
I did not like Fireborne, I dnfed it after like 100 pages. It has similar plot points to Fourth Wing but it did not compare or come anywhere close to how good Fourth Wing is 😂 I also have heard that about In The Lives Of Puppets, I wanted to read it when it came out but now I think I’ll skip that one and just wait for his next book

I put a dated sticky note in the front of each book i buy. Helps me to make unhaul decisions later on.
