Good question! A little bit of both, to be honest. I was looking for a filter that could work as stereo or mono (in my larger case) and wanted to try this one out before buying 2. It does have some interesting features (saturation, wavefolder, ping in) but I’m still sort of on the fence about it. Sounds a little less smooth than something like Ripples which I had in here previously.
@@firstandlast4415 can you specify the model? teletype/aleph is really finicky with teensy based keyboards, kb's w/ usb hubs. I can say that neither my hhkbp2 nor my keyboard.io kb work w/ the teletype
Thanks! Teletype has a special digital communication protocol called “ii” that lets it send and receive commands from other ii compatible devices! It’s just a little jumper cable that connects Teletype and Just Friends behind the panel. Pretty cool in this case because it turns Just Friends into a polyphonic synth (or 6 independent mono synths) that is super easy to control. You just tell it what note to play and it handles the pitch, envelopes, note stealing, etc…
Great job. Amazing sequences and system
So nice!
This is great!
AWESOME.. 🙌🙌🙌
Hi @modular beat. Would it be possible to have the script? Thanks in advance.
Hey I’m refactoring a lot of stuff for some new features but will post an update when it’s ready (hopefully soon!). Thx for your interest.
Did you choose the C4RBN just because of its low HP or other features?

@@ModularBeat _"Sounds a little less smooth than something like Ripples"_ - so it would be my choice. The Ripples is too smooth for me. :)
in this video, teletype is just used for sequencing? any eg or lfo? because sound very beautiful 😮
Yup, just sequencing JF. Unfortunately you can't control JF's envelope/duration using i2c/Teletype/Crow.
Muy amable de su parte de Musica
really dig it! what keyboard are you using?
these are mechanical keyboards, check out A mazon for sunzit keycaps.

Keychron K2
Love this! Maybe a silly question but how is the Teletype sending notes / gates? I can't see anything connected.
