I don't think you should simply confess your feelings, instead you should ask them out. That way as you two hang out you can show them how you feel by talking to them, getting to know them better and flirting with them. A lot of times people just want to tell their crush they like them out of the blue and they just wait to see if their crush likes them back or not, I think it's important to be more proactive rather than reactionary.

I asked out my crush yesterday thanks to you. I had a conversation with her friend, and she told me that my crush usually takes it slow so I shouldn't rush it, but I couldn't wait any longer. I kissed her at a party a couple of months ago when she was about to leave. I just thought to myself, it's now or never and eventually it went well even though it was a bit shocking for her. So I decided yesterday to just ask her out, because I needed some kind of confirmation, like if she says no, then I could stop wasting my time chasing her, but what if she says yes? I don't think you should simply confess your feelings, instead you should ask them out. That way as you two hang out you can show them how you feel by talking to them, getting to know them better and flirting with them. A lot of times people just want to tell their crush they like them out of the blue and they just wait to see if their crush likes them back or not, I think it's important to be more proactive rather than reactionary.

I don't know if he likes me, he talks to a lot of other girls and I feel like if I did ask him out he would reject me and it's going to take me ages to get my self-esteem back up. The thing is that he isn't even that good looking but he's so funny and outgoing with everybody which makes him really popular to the point that sometimes I feel like he's out of my league.
