- I have to leave Eve behind because You can’t drive up to the Sumela Monestary so I had to take a shuttle bus. 450TL for the Ticket, 60 TL for the parking and 40TL for the shuttle bus. You pay quite a few times to see it but I think it’s definitely worth checking out, even though quite overrun by tourists like myself. Anyways, even the scenic ride to the big attraction was absolutely worth it…

Absolutely, move on Marc. The way I do it is to delete everything, take away all of the reminders. Replace the old memories with new ones and step back out into the fresh new world.
Change the photo of your cellphone dude!!!! Take off Maries photo e put another thing, like Eve or some model 😂
You might be travelling solo Marc but we are all there with you, every mile travelled. Take some time off, repack Eve and push on

Hey Marc, transfer the weight of your stuff to the side. One way to do this without using panniers & racks (expensive) is to use a rack-less soft luggage (usually for off-road) like Giant Loop or Mosko Moto or similar. Your riding experience will be so much better in the twisties. Keep riding and editing buddy! 👌
From personal experience I can tell you. Make a STRAIGHT cut. Take time for yourself, stay a bit longer in one place. These are the times you grow and learn the most. 💪👍🏍️🏍️🏍️

Great video with some beautiful drone shots at the monastery. You may have chosen a great place to reset yourself, rethink the camping, packing etc. Take the time, relax a bit too besides working on the video stuff. Hi Marc, about your luggage situation: think about some softbags. I can imagine they would fit quite well onto Eve as you don't have a hot muffler. Enduristan Blizzard in L or XL or something similar. The camping gear and more stuff from your backpack would fit into the big bag, which should be much smaller than, too. The weight distribution is much better as well as it'll be lower.

I have been to Europe but mostly for business so I don't get to see the wonderful things you are showing us. I am also half German on my mother's side. She was from Neustadt. I wish she would have taught me to speak German. Anyway, keep up the great work. I ride as the weather in Florida allows. Right now it is extremely warm, about 97 degrees. To that point, might you either add to your video description or reply with the brand of motorcycle gear (jacket, pants, boots) you wear for both warm and cold weather. nice vueuws again, and repacking Eve is sure a good idea, maybe find some side pannier holders , or saddle bags, this would help to keep the weight lower and so giving more stabiity. anyway I really like your videos. Stay strong, ride safe.

I love the camping parts and it gives you so much freedom of where you can stay. But it adds alot of gear, I get that. I have 60liters storage and I hate wearing a backpack. I can usually carry my work gear OR my camping gear. But not both. I usually stop every 160km for a break and some water. Naked sports just don't have a comfy enough seat for 500km stretches. Coolest looking bikes though. Eve gets all the attention

Get that photo off your phone mate don't torture yourself
+1 for softbags to get the weight lower. I've the 2019 model of that bike (14.4 battery) using the manufacturer s hard luggage (SHAD). It feels lower quality than the cost would suggest but lockable is good and you still have some back seat space.

Itchy Boots stopped camping out on her journeys a few years ago. I think she came to the same conclusion you did.

I don't know the current situation of your tyres, but if you need to change it soon, I strongly reccomend you to do it before you leave Turkiye. Trabzon is a huge city as you will possibly find tyres necessary for your bike. I see many motorcyclist struggling to find tyres in Georgia. Good luck!

You mention slow Wi-Fi transfer of videos from your cameras … have you tried using a SDHC card reader with the camera’s micro SD in a SD adaptor? Often much quicker file transfers though obviously less ideal in the field if having to remove the micro SD card from the camera.

Nice part of your trip Marc. Couldn't help noticing the usual pathetic motorcycle horn Eve has! Can really recommend the Strebel air horn range. They have saved my arse on many occasions.
15:53 - Same. I know one of the big complaints about electrics is if you want to do an Iron Butt it becomes really hard because of charging... And my response to that is why the heck would I want to do an Iron Butt? 1,000 in a day sounds miserable. The only way to do that is highway miles and that just sounds exceedingly boring. I'd MUCH rather do a couple hundred miles at most and take loads of breaks, check some stuff out. What's the rush?
