Thank you!!!! Panic hemming a dress i forgot about before a trip!!
This is so clear and concise, exactly what i needed thank you!! Hemming my first skirt ive ever made, so i DESPERATELY needed this
You're so welcome!
I recently thrifted a beautiful pair of Joseph & Feiss trousers and I saw how amazingly well the blind hem was done and was immediately inspired. Thank you for making this look so easy.
Thank you so much! I hemmed my first pants perfectly thanks to your tutorial!
So glad to hear it. Hemming pants is my least favorite thing to do. Haha!
Just discovered a hole in a $200 dress for my sister-in-law’s wedding in two days. 🙄 I’m an insecure hand sewist, so I found this very helpful! I agree with the comment suggesting dark fabric with contrasting thread, though. On the white background, that would be easier to see. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much! I’ve hemmed my dress successfully
Great! You've saved me from the Brother LX3817A sewing machine, which kept chewing the hem of the knit fabric. My solution was to hand-stitch the hem. Thank you for the tutorial!
Glad I could help!
Thank you! This video saved me so much time and stress!! I was able to quickly hem a skirt for my daughter, change up a shirt for cos-play and make an apron using this technique in no time 💕 Thank you again!!!!
Awesome! You're welcome. So glad it was helpful!
Thank you for sharing this tutorial. It taught me very well. I used black fabric and black thread. Not an easy thing to start with on a beginner but it was what I had.
I just fixed them hem on my dress pants and they look great! Thank you!
That's really neat and well explained.
This video was incredibly helpful, actually pretty easy and helped me fix my frayed pants thank you !❤
Thank you 🙏 Lovely quick, clear tutorial. Looking forward to doing this tomorrow!
thank you so much for this tutorial! it was very clear and helped me to understand the idea! it being a very short video is so useful as well, so awesome💕💕💕😭🙏
Thank you for the tutorial. I’m trying to make up my mind about a blind hemimachine or doing it by hand.
You're welcome! Sometimes it's easier to just do it by hand. :)
Thank you! Exactly what I needed.
thank you so much ❤️ this was so helpful :) i’m making a hanky for my dog
Glad it was helpful. Pressing with an iron should help with that a little (if you didn't try that already.) :)
So Slip stitch and blind stitch are really the same, right?
Thank you for this video...Be Blessed 🙏🏼❤️
Can this be used on stretchy fabric..?
You would probably want some sort of zig zag stitch instead so the fabric can still stretch. Also a ballpoint needle so you aren't snagging the stretchy threads. I saw a couple other tutorials on how to do it. Look for how to blind hem jersey fabric or knit fabric.
you made it look so easy, thank you!
Superb job !
Thanks! Very helpful💕💕
would this work on poplin fabric too?
I haven't worked with poplin before, but I'm guessing it would work. Try on a hidden piece or scrap first.
Thank you
Thank you. This was v helpful
Thanks 😊
thank you maam❤❤❤
Thank you :)
Do you only start from right to left
It depends what hand you are used too
You can go either way.
Helpful. But difficult to see.
Braun Crest
You should have zoomed more so we can see😢
I didn't finish, I wanted to also say nice video by the way, I really appreciate ❤❤❤
thanks 👍
Your coth is too light . Suggestion: for demonstration purposes use dark cloth with light colored thread or vice versa.
that's what she did. she used a light blue fabric with dark blue thread.
Maybe. Get. Biger. So. We. Can. See
You can zoom in u know
Ok. 😁🤗
Bigger*
So rude
Maybe. Get. Bigger screen.
I’m on phone and I saw it fine. Thanks.
I don’t mean to pry, but it seems as though you have some finger clubbing and wondered if you’ve been to see a doctor as a result?
Hmmm... I don't think I do. It might be because of my dip manicure. It's a really thick layer. Thanks for your concern though.
