I purchased this Volvo 940 off eBay that had been parked up and neglected for around 9 months and hadn’t turned a wheel since it was last used at its MOT 9 months prior.
I took a punt and it turned out to be a great one! The car once cleaned, turned out to be pristine and all in original condition. There was not a spot of rust anywhere.
My friend and I had an early morning drive to collect the Volvo, we took a new battery as we knew the old on would be completely flat.
After a quick swap of the batteries, pressure check of the tires, and fluid level check over the car started first crank of the key! You have to love a good old ‘Red Block’!!!
We drove back covering 120 miles trouble free, which is testament to the previous owner and superb Volvo engineering.
They are remarkable cars and built to an amazing standard.
If you haven’t owned one and have been thinking about it, don’t hesitate any longer and buy!!!
