Been loving the content lately. A lot of newer-intermediate players need to learn and understand these concepts so they can elevate their play. Personally I’m just a nerd who watches Tekken videos all day so this is fun for me too. I hope you’ll keep doing content like this and even make advanced videos for us seasoned veterans as well!
I would also love to see a video on higher level timing. If possible, whether it's intermediate or high level - are there ways to find 'open' timing in the neutral? I would be excited to see any video on timing, really. It is an elusive and foreign concept for some of us. Thank you so much for this kind of content.
That is something I do when I play. I like to get a good grasp on how they play at times. Then you can somewhat guess on what they will do. Sometimes I just flow with it too. Like I am aggressive and just flowing and reacting with what they will do while maintaining aggression. But that only comes when I am comfortable with the character itself and have experience. Sometimes people can call out stuff before they do it if you have the experience to know what they usually want to do. Or player experience as you may pick up tendencies (sounds bad, but it is true if you play with someone enough). But that is not all the time and people can switch it up too.
I always tried to find counter hits in the open just by feel, but its been such an improvement to think about timing this way. I would love for you to make a video about how to use timing effectively in your own offense.
Great video, I feel like I had a concept of this but didnt realize it. So next time, I can actually read my opponents timing whenever they do certain patterns.
I like this because it’s something I recently realized while playing a good friend of mine that’s good (as well as at a tourney). My response timing was predictable.
Amazing video. I implemented this concept around two years ago ans changed my gameplay night and day. Changing your rhythm of spacing and timing to keep a smart opponent guessing is ypur first step to win against a decent player.
Good stuff. From learning the game on TH-cam ,watching pros, and friends the only real thing that was hard to understand was neutral and timing. And it's hard to find a good guide on both. 👍
please do the higher level timing video. I've been hardstuck on blue ranks with Bryan. And i really struggle against offensive characters who never press on my buttons
I only have a good grasp on movement timing(2D movement)...usually I see how many times they backdash and stop. People usually backdash twice or 3 times before pressing or dashing and 3+4 usually get them
For video ideas, how about a video on anticipating and countering keepout? Lots of players say “just dash block” or use a “get in move”. Maybe you could go more in depth?
Really helpful vid. I wasn't sure of the concept of timing since I would only hear it here and there from commentators and thought it was specific to when does my opp. attack/hit a button. It wasn't until me and Bloodhawk had some sets on the side and I was wondering how I was eating magic 4s consistently in the replays and thought it might be related to him knowing when I was gonna press. How do you go about downloading any other facets of an opponent/knowledge checks? Esp in a short ft2 tournament setting? Also what do you think of in general at the beginning of a match--like match-up specfics?...make sure I punish this, look out for that set up etc.? Thanks.
Great vid ty, as a new player this is solid info. I just find it a bit overwhelming to do in the heat of a match. You think it would be worth watching replays to build this as a habit?
Just have to think consciously when you play. Try to autopilot less. I think replays can help, but most of this stuff needs to be implemented in real games with real live feedback!
i don’t really think ranked is a good way to look at it. i’ve played TGO players who weren’t really high level players, it’s all pretty random and not a great test of skill.

Thank you, bro!
You're so good at this, can't wait for the T8 tutorials.
Thank you bro! I’ll be on the content grind for sure

Open timing is tough. It’s sooo just like “feel” that it’s hard to explain in a video, but i want to try and find out how to word it for the furure
Really enjoying these guides! You explain them really well I think, connecting the simple actions with the high level idea of why or when to do them.
Thank you!
Man I didn't know how much I needed this. I've been gettin 99 of my CH from just playing plus frames. Thanks from Tekken 8!
dude, finally some videos covering advanced concepts
Ty is him, giving the dopest tekken knowledge
I'm glad your uploading more your guides are super helpful
Thank you! I’m glad they help
Man I hit a wall recently and this is really eye opening info on myself and my opponents. Great vid.
thank you goat! hope to see u again if i’m ever back in cali :p

5 minutes in and I've learned a lot already, thx alot

Video analysis of high level adjustments. Your own play, other players’ games, or tournaments.
This video is still clutch to this day, thank you for the video!

I’ll press on something else other than your buttons.
@@forsak3n749ayo??? 🗿🗿
THIS is what I needed. Thank you so much. Great video. Impressive work!❤️
ooooo timing is very important for counter hit heavy chars, fire video! 🔥🔥🔥
This content helps me understand this dumb ass complicated game. I appreciate it man, thanks.
You should def make a video about delayed timings at higher level of play. Its my biggest struggle right now
Thank u so much for the free knowledge. I would gladly pay a coaching session, but i live in Europe 😭
By far my weakest aspect in tekken is neutral. A video on that would be great😊
Thanks for talking about an important topic which is rarely mentioned but the highest level players inherently know it.

Great idea, i think this will be my next one!
Ty for this! Playing T8 but this’ll be so useful for trying to get past blue ranks lol
Great video. Very helpful ! Since you were asking for ideas I’d love to see a video on Bryan’s chains, breaking them down, when to use them etc
Streets need that “how to get an advanced level players timing” video
YUP KEEP EM COMING BIG DAWG
Also audio is low on mobile (iphone 11) maybe increase by like 10db
thanks for the feedback
keep up your content bro, its really help me out to set up my gameplan 😆😆😆
this video was great ! i would love a high lvl version of this liked and subbed
Good vid

W vid my guy. Might hit u up for some coaching again soon👀👀

Here’s a video idea:
what are the first things you’re gonna do once Tekken 8 is out (to prepare: before going online or offline tourneys)
thefootage is stopped for so long it's hard to visualise what you're showing
I need help on poking without getting blown up on counter hit. I eat Ch all day.
Blud was there just bullying people 😭
Hey Ty, I’m curious to know what rank you think starts high level play
i don’t really think ranked is a good way to look at it. i’ve played TGO players who weren’t really high level players, it’s all pretty random and not a great test of skill.
nah this video is just a video on Ty exposing NA timing LOL
All this we talk we not out there with you dog 😂 good video tho
Super useful
do people count back dashes too or is that arbitrary for resetting neutral?
it depends on if your opponent is doing something afterwards, if not probably not worth worrying about
Why couldn’t you have released this before T7 ended!!! Wahhhhh
it’ll still be relevant for tekken 8 :P
@@tytk just teasin
Can you please show us which string moves are delayable for bryan and how to perform it? Im a bryan main stuck in brown rank 🫠
