The question to why the most toxic family in gaming’s beef started is actually pretty valid. They explained all why Heihachi threw Kazuya in Tekken 7. Maybe you should play Tekken 7 story? You might actually get your answer as to why Heihachi seems like a shit dad (or maybe not? 👀)
@@SonicMegaKing you are a miserable person. Saying t7's story was garbage is infactual entirely. If it was so bad the fucking game wouldn't have made 10 million fucking dollars
Heihachi's wife/ Kazuya's mother (Kazumi) was sent to kill heihachi as a child (both of them were children) but during their training days both of the fell in love and got married later, but after a few years of Kazuya's birth Kazumi's devil powers took control over her and tried to kill Heihachi. Heihachi won the battle and killed Kazumi but a suspicion of his child bearing the same devil powers Heihachi decided to test that theory by throwing his son off a cliff. He survived by activating the devil 🧬. They fought again Kazuya threw Heihachi off a cliff and they both repeated the same thing again and again. (Only Talking about Tekken 7 story line) Azazel the main villain of Tekken 6 was the original devil and heihachi wanted its power for himself experimenting on normal humans mainly students because their cells are constantly developing and adapting to everything making them the perfect guinea pig for the experiment killing almost every student participating in the said program in short Heihachi is an Ass.
-The difference between Kazuya and Jin it's that Kazuya has the Vegeta haircut and a red eye, while Jin has bangs -Most of the games have Marshall Law as the Bruce Lee character, but Tekken 3 has his son, Forrest -The "Indiana Jones" guy in Tekken 3 is Lei Wulong, who debutted in Tekken 2. He's a cop from Hong Kong who joins the tournaments usually to solve cases related to it. Speaking of Tekken 3, this is the first appearance of Jin, Xiaoyu, Hwoarang, Eddy, Panda, Bryan, Mokujin and Julia -The opening in Tekken 5 starts right after the events of Tekken 4, where Jin defeated Kazuya and Heihachi, and then flew away in Devil form (which is why you see the black feathers). Tekken 5 is also the first appearance of Raven, Asuka, Feng, Jinpachi and Devil Jin. -The lady fighting Nina in Tekken 5 is Anna (always has been a recurring character), her sister, whom she has a deadly rivalry with. The guy fighting King is Marduk, who first appeared in Tekken 4, and an enemy of King (since Marduk killed his mentor, Armor King in a brawl)
"-The difference between Kazuya and Jin it's that Kazuya has the Vegeta haircut and a red eye, while Jin has bangs" Are you fkn serious? They only have 2 things in common, "Jun" and "Devil Gene" . stop sniffing that trash crack bro.
- To add, the main Jack we follow is numbered after the game where it is (Jack-8 actually) separating the copies by having the old model (7, 6, 5, etc) and a prototype version who has no color skin and a rotating hand. - King and Armor King are not the same from the first games, as this is King III if I recall, and as above states, original Armor King died but has been revealed that he had a secret twin. - Kuma also appears in the first game but the one we see actually is his son who has the same name. - Jin tried to avoid Azazel's awakening before others like Kazuya, so he waken him earlier by creating chaos over the world (as seen at the start Miguel who has watched his sister die right in front of him at her wedding) making a ton of enemies on the process while being corrupted by power until set back to the right path. - The spinny fast guy who stopped the criminals in the robbery scene, did so much activity that lost weight and turned out slim, losing his main characteristic on the process that he used so well.
If you want some basic context of the Mishima story As a child, Heihachi threw Kazuya off a cliff to see if he was strong enough to survive. He does survive, in part thanks to what is called the Devil Gene. Years later, Heihachi hosts the first King of Iron Fist tournament, with the Mishima Zaibatsu as the prize. The Zaibatsu is a mega-conglomerate with influence across the globe. Kazuya wins this tournament, and throws Heihachi off a cliff to complete his revenge. Tekken 2 happens next, and that's why you saw Heihachi climbing up the mountain in the intro. Kazuya hosted the tournament and lost, and so Heihachi takes his revenge and throws him into a volcano. Kazuya is presumed dead. At some point during this tournament, Jun and Kazuya conceive Jin. Jin inherits Kazuya's Devil abilities. 18 years later, Tekken 3 happens with Jin as the new main character. An evil god of fighting has awoken and presumably killed some of the best fighters around the globe, Jun included. A young Jin seeks out Heihachi afterwards, who trains him. When he is ready, Heihachi hosts the 3rd tournament as bait for this god. Heihachi hopes to obtain it's body for study so he can gain its power. Jin wins the tournament and defeats the god, but Heihachi betrays Jin and shoots him. This awakens Jin's devil abilities and he ends up flying away, so Heihachi retains control of the Zaibatsu. A couple years later, Heihachi is looking for Kazuya's corpse for research purposes. That leads him to G-Corporation, whom recovered the body. He sends his armed forces to raid their labs and finds out Kazuya is still alive. He's been researching his devil abilities with the help of G-Corp. Heihachi hosts the 4th tournament to draw Kazuya out. Jin, Kazuya, and Heihachi end up having a big showdown in a temple where Jin walks away as the victor. Tekken 5 picks up immediately afterwards with Kazuya and Heihachi regaining consciousness in the temple, where you see their fight with JACKs deployed by G-Corporation in the intro. Heihachi is presumed dead. An unknown entity rises up from the ruined temple and takes control of the Zaibatsu. This is Jinpachi Mishima. He hosts the fifth tournament. Heihachi doesn't participate. Kazuya leaves the tournament halfway thru after learning it was G-Corp behind the attack. This leaves Jin with a clear path to victory, killing Jinpachi and taking charge of the Zaibatsu. Kazuya assumes control of G-Corp. Onto Tekken 6, the Zaibatsu and G-Corp have begun a global war against eachother under the leadership of Jin and Kazuya. Jin's motive is secretly to awaken an ancient entity who is prophesied to destroy the world. He wants to kill this entity before that can happen. Kazuya just wants power. Lars is introduced as a bastard of Heihachi. For Tekken 7, I actually don't know much. Not enough to speak about it. I kind of took a break from fighting games for like a decade. I'll be hopping back into 8 though. All I know is 7 introduced Kazuya's mother/Heihachi's wife, Kazumi. At the end of the game, Kazuya kills Heihachi, seemingly for good if the developers are to be believed. In Tekken 8, I think Kazuya is in control of the Zaibatsu and people are trying to expose his evil ways. Jin is wrestling with his sins of having played a part in global war. Jun is making her first canon appearance since her presumed death between T2 and T3. TLDR This story gets really stupid really fast. It kind of peaked at 4 IMO.
Others prolly told you, but the insane lore of tekken is a good video to check out in order to familiarize with the game story and characters backstory better
@@ChocolateKieran The Laws are based off Bruce and maybe Brandon Lee. Feng is based, I think, off Bolo Yeung. Lei Wulong is heavily based off Jackie Chan, with being the Supercop, drunken master and animal kung fu styles. Raven is based off Wesley Snipes, mixing Blade with the Demolition man hairdo. I wouldn't be surprised if Marduk was based off Bob Sapp, he was a hit in the Pride circuit and also appeared in a few shows in Japan. Bob style was based off Samo Hung, a big brother of sorts of Jackie Chan, appeared in several of his movies. King is based of Tiger Mask and possibly Antonio Inoki, even has a move that references Inoki's fight with Muhammad Ali. I'm sure I missed a lot, but Tekken and most fighting games draw a lot of inspiration from mangas and real actors and fighters.
The difference between Jin and Kazuya is that Kazuya's face is full of scars, he looks relatively older, one of his eyes sometimes glows red, he's sometimes a purple devil man.
Some points to clarify: 1. Yes, king is a human. Hes a wrestler from mexico who runs an orphanage. 2. The lara croft character you refer to is michelle chang, the adoptive mother of julia chang 3. Marshall law is the character inspired by bruce lee, he also has a son called forest law, who was in the third tournament. 4. Paul has been in every single tekken game, making him an og, pretty sure hes like nearly 50 years old right now 5. At the end of tekken 1, kazuya defeats heihachi and throws him off the same cliff kazuya was thrown off as a child. 6. Yes the woman in white was jun kazama, she made her debut in tekken 2 7. The woman punching the mirror was michelle again 8. The guy with the robotic arm is yoshimitsu. Like Paul, yoshimitsu is an og, but hes the one character that drastically changes in every single tekken game. Yoshimitsu lost his left arm in a firefight, and is given a replacement by dr bosconovitch 9. The robotic pov of the robots are jack robots, pretty sure the little girl in the scene is called jane, but i might be wrong 10. In tekken 2, king fell into a depression and drunken state after one of the orphans in his care died. Armor king, his rival, got him back on his feet 11. Before they retconned the devil gene, there was a character in tekken 2 called angel, who was holding kazuya near the ending of the tekken 2 intro. She was meant to represent the good side of kazuya 12. The being with red eyes you saw in the beginning was ancient ogre, whom heihachi sought out to gain more power. Ogre is also responsible for setting jin on the path he was on 13. King is actually different in this game. After ogre was awakened, ogre sought out the toughest fighters, this included king, but king didnt survive the encounter with ogre. But an orphan who was in kings care decided to take the mantle of king to help the orphanage, and with the help of his predecessors’ rival, armor king, he got into the shape he needed to enter the third tournament 14. The girl in the orange outfit is ling xiayou, a friend of jins. 15. The woman coming out of the machinery was nina. After tekken 2 she was placed in cryogenically frozen for experiments. Anna, her sister, was also frozen, for 15 years and were released to fight in the third tournament. Nina suffered from amnesia however, and lost any memory of her life, including anna. 16. The guy running from the helicopter is lei wulong, a detective from hong kong, and is based on jackie chang. 17. Jin received the devil gene tattoo from ogre. Kazuya doesnt have the tattoo, he also doesnt appear in tekken 3 because he was killed by heihachi in tekken 2. 18. The tekken tag games are not canonical, theyre pretty much just spin offs 19. The tekken 4 intro shows the events of the ending of the second tournament, with heihachi throwing kazuya into a volcano. The fourth game takes place 20 years after the second one 20. Kazuya wont look that much older, if older at all because he gained a new body, but genetically his dna was spliced more towards the devil gene 21. The boxer is steve fox, and is ninas biological son 22. The woman in the green top is christie montero, she is eddy gordos protoge, and the granddaughter of eddys master 23. The wwe wrestler you refer to is craig marduk, a vale tudo fighter. He was imprisoned for killing a man in a bar brawl, which happened to be armor king, king 2s mentor 24. Essentially, the family feud between kazuya and heihachi started when heihachi killed kazumi, kazuyas mother. Although heihachi was defending himself after she revealed herself as a devil, kazuya was too young to understand. Heihachi threw kazuya off the cliff to see whether or not he inherited the devil gene from his mother. (this is after they retconned the devil gene story), kazuya wanted revenge so fought in tournaments for years to get stronger. The only one who managed to stand against kazuya in a fight that ended in a draw was paul phoenix. After his win in tekken 1, kazuya gained power, and since then hes fought with heihachi over power and dominion. 25. Tekken 5 shows the aftermath of the fight between jin, kazuya and heihachi. It takes place straight after the end of tekken 4. Jin was imprisoned in honmaru temple by heihachi, kazuya was brought to him by heihachi and tried to take jins devil powers, only for jin to retaliate and defeta kazuya. Heihachi also picks a fight but also loses. Jin almost killed them, until he thought about his mother, and spared them both, flying away with his wings. 26. Raven works for a secret organisation, raven was there to watch g corp attempt to kill both the mishimas. 27. The girl on the bike is asuka kazama, lilis rival. While she is a kazama, the creator said she isnt jins cousin but is more complicated 28. The chinese guy is feng wei. He debuted in tekken 5. He was a kenpo student, top of his study, until he got into a fight with another student. His master scolded him, but feng killed him 29. That mma fighter you refer to is bruce irwin. Hes a kickboxer, and once worked for kazuya in his military force. 30. The fight between anna and nina you saw was kinda important for nina. Nina called her sister anna and begun to fight. As soon as the fight started, ninas memories of her life returned to her. 31. The kuma you see in tekken 5 is not the same one from earlier games. Like king, the original kuma died, heihachi adopted another bear cub. 32. Xiayou isnt a student of jun, to reiterate she is jins friend from school, and was given panda as a bodyguard by heihachi. 33. Ganryu is a sumo wrestler. He has appeared in previous tekken games, but hasnt had much of a role until tekken 5 34. The kangeroo character is roger jr. In tekken 2, kazuya had animal experiments done, creating animal fighters, including alex the boxing dinosaur, and roger the boxing kangeroo. 35. Devil jin debuted in tekken 5. Jin started to lose control of the devil gene because of jinpachis awakening. He levelled a forest, only to wake up to find it destroyed, and he knew it was him 36. Jinpachi is heihachis father, and was the founder of the mishima zaibatsu. Heihachi got his father killed to take control of the organisation. In tekken 5 though, jinpachi is revived by an evil spirit, not related to the devil gene. Jinpachi organised the fifth tournament because he wanted someone to stop him, and put him out of his misery. Jin ended up winning the fifth tournament. 37. In tekken 6, jin wages war against the world, killing many people. The man screaming at the start was miguel. Miguel lost his sister after an air raid attack, cause by the mishima zaibatsu. 38. The big guy in the red is called bob. He wanted to achieve the best body with both speed and attack. 39. The ruins you see are where azazel, the boss of tekken 6, is held. Jin planned to awaken azazel to destroy him, but needed the world to be filled with chaos and negative enegry, hence why he started the war. Azazel is said to be the origins of the devil gene itself. 40. Akuma is brought into tekken 7, he was tasked with killing kazuya and heihachi by kazumi, kazuyas mother, after she saved his life. 41. The pink haired girl is alisa, a robot created by dr bosconovitch, to be his new daughter, after his real daughter had died. 42. The fortune teller you see is zafina, she debuted in tekken 6. She returned in tekken 7 as a dlc character, but was revealed to have absorbed azazels power, hence her purple arm A LOT to unpack but hopefully you gain a better understanding of the lore of tekken
Jin did not receive his Devil Mark from Ogre. He received it from Devil himself. You can actually see that the purple winged silhouette is Devil, right after Jin has been marked.
@@BeretBay the devil has always been a separate entity, even after the retcon. Before, it was kazuya who made a deal with the devil, then after his death the devil was split into two. And even when the devil gene became a genetic thing, the gene still had a consciousness in jin
@@WTFHAX93 considering that many sources say either ogre branded jin or the devil did, i was more inclined to believe ogre did, recognising that jin had the devil gene. And also i have seen the intro to tekken 3 before many times, im aware that the purple silhouette was devil. But considering before the retcon, if the idea is that devil branded jin with the tattoo, why didnt he do the same for kazuya?
Tip to people new to tekken. The easiest way to diffentiate Jin and Kazuya is the hair. Jin has bangs and Kazuya has no bangs. Also I’m not gonna try to explain the lore cause tekken even has tekken players saying wtf so... if you wanna know the lore there’s a video titled “the insane lore of tekken” on TH-cam. It pretty much explains the entire lore until tekken 7. Also the tekken Tag games aren’t cannon so no need to pay attention to their lore if you only care about cannon. Not to mention fun fact there’s also a tekken x street fighter game where the tekken characters are designed using sf’s character style.
There is an image of King with his mask off and we can clearly see his face. 4:51 Also fun fact that’s the new/present King. The King from Tekken 1 and 2 was killed by Ogre.
Heres a fun fact: In Tekken 4 when you play as a Mishima in the arcade mode and you fight Heihachi he wears his normal clothing but when you play as someone else then he wears fundoshi
i loved in the tekken 2 intro where the First King was all fucked up, spiralin out n armor king threw the jaguar mask at king like " Get back in there n fight!"
Kinda impressive how the graphics in those intros improved from Tekken 1 to 2 in just a single year, and then massively improved in Tekken 3 again despite being only 2 years apart.
I love these kinds of videos. Glad I found your channel. Keep it up and I hope you have a ton of fun in Tekken 8! Also you should watch "The Insane Lore of Tekken"
Jin has bangs. Kazuya has 1 red eye, face scars and all of his hair is slicked into a duck tail. Heihachi has the hair wings, bald in the middle. Also has a mustache. Jinpachi is completelely bald, with wings (hair) coming off his beard, and a demon mouth under his ribcage.
Funny that you said Marduk looks like a wrestler because he's based on Bill Goldberg who was an American pro wrestler and fellow Australian Nathan Jones who wrestled in WWE for a very short time. Marduk is supposed to be Australian but he's never been voiced by an Australian.
So, wife of Heihachi, mother of Kazuya had devil gene, that forced her to attack Heihachi, so he killed her. Young Kazuya hated his father for that as well as for throwing him from the cliff in order to check if he has devil gene(if he survives the fall - he does, if not - he would die). I really sujest checking videos that explain lore of the previous games, its really weird, but fun at the same time. Would make great reaction.
Not sure if you seen this or found out but the point of them fighting is heihachi wanted to see if his son had the devil gene and threw him off the cliff to see if he came back. If he did then he as the gene. Kazuya trains and takes him down but is worse than his dad. During this he meets jun and has a kid named Jin. Jun essentially suppresses his evil. Kazuya leaves then something happens not exactly sure off the top of my head and Jin wants to beat his dad for leaving them or something. During this they have these tournaments and everything. This is a very rough cut and dry version of the story. Definitely worth looking into
Anna is ninas sister but they are in the different office team, anna is in the mishima zaibatsu office (kazuya own) and nina was work for g corp (jin own) so they fights
Just to clarify some of the character relationships for you: Kazuya, Jin and Heihachi, as well as Lars, are all Mishimas. Lee was adopted by Heihachi simply to spite his actual son. Lars is Heihachi's illegitimate son who he had just to confirm he didn't have the Devil Gene. Jin kept his mother's last name because Jun never really married Kazuya, and now mainly because Jin outright hates his Mishima bloodline. No, Xiaoyu is not Jun's student. They never even met. If anything, Xiaoyu was under Heihachi's wing when he found potential in her skills. She's the closest thing Jin has to a friend, next to Hwoarang (that, and Xiaoyu has had a crush on him since they were in High School). Marshall has no ties to either Feng or Leroy. His only ties are with Paul, who is his best friend. Feng's goal is to attain the peak of martial arts, and in his pursuit raided the Kazama Dojo and landed Asuka's dad in the hospital, which sparked Asuka's hostility towards him. Leroy, on the flipside, hates Kazuya for reasons I forgot about. Yes, Jin and Asuka are cousins, but Jin hardly acknowledges her despite, as of Tekken 6, Asuka trying ways to meet him and set him on the right path for what he did during that game. As for the feud between the Mishimas? It's a constant cycle of betrayal and hunger for power, which began when Heihachi deposed his father, Jinpachi, just to take over the Mishima Zaibatsu. Kazuya wants revenge on his old man for seemingly killing his mom in cold blood and throwing him off that cliff when he was a child. Jin wants Heihachi dead for his betrayal, and wants Kazuya dead for cursing him with the Devil Gene that has been eating away at his sanity for years. Heihachi wants both of them dead simply to take their Devil Gene and achieve immortality. Lars is the only one who never participated in this big screwed up family war. Lee did participate in the early games to seek Heihachi's approval, but ultimately left to become his own man (which worked well for him). Lars and Lee are by far the nicest and closest thing to surrogate father figures Jin has in his whole messed up life.
Leroy hates Kazuya due to all the crimes he committed on Tekken 2 storyline, apparently provoking a mess and harming people of Leroy's town due to drugs, killings and more.
The Family feud Started on Kazumi (She is a Demoness) tries to Kill Haihachi and after Kazuya is born, and it backfires, then Kazuya finds out Her Death and tries to Kill Haihachi, Kazuya got thrown on the clip
It's a shame this compilation didn't also have the Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection intro, Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion intro, and the Tekken Tag 2 arcade intro, cuz those are also worth reacting to.
My man Paul ain't got the Guile hairdo, but the PORUNAREFFU hairdo. Tekken takes a lot of inspiration from Jojo, Kazuya and Jin's gloves are straight up lifted from Star Platinum's, for instance.
@@ChocolateKieran For sure, and Street Fighter has its own references too, with the Guile-Stroheim designs. Jojo is very influential and people tend to forget how old it really is.
Yup! I have a video playing SMT V on the channel actually & we streamed some of Nocture on Twitch a while back! JRPGs are my favourite games, so I'm gonna try hop back in my bag for Persona 3 Reload starting Saturday 💪🏾
Yeah they told me in the last video, my main problem is I can’t tell if there’s been design/outfit changes every game and then the graphics change a lot 😂
Tekkken 4 intro takes the w 7:03 Nina also had her own game , death by degrees I think it was called 11:31 there's your tag 😂😂😂😂😂 15:51 he look like Chad from bleach lol
Yeah, so Heihachi and Kazuya have a long history of throwing each other off things. Heihachi threw Kazuya off a cliff when he was a kid, then Kazuya climbed up, beat Heihachi in Tekken 1, and threw him off the cliff, Then in Tekken 2, Heihachi climbed up the cliff, beat Kazuya and threw him into a volcano. He also has a non-canon ending in Tekken 3 where he throws Jin out of a helicopter, and one in 5 where he launches his whole family into space, strapped to the outside of a rocket. And then there's Lee's non-canon Tekken 5 ending...
Idk if your chat end up mentioning it later in the video or if you realised already but the tag games aren't cannon so their intros have a lot of characters that already died or characters that don't make sense to be seen on screen at the same time considering time scale etc.
Yeah the thing that kept confusing me is not knowing whether or not they'd change hairstyl;es in the series LOL, but I appreciate that! Bangs vs no bangs helps a lot!
Dude i would definitely recommend you to watch the insane lore of tekken, it summarizes the story very well and you will understand the entire lore behind it
You should try reacting to the Tekken 7 story mode movie cause they mostly explained about the whole Mishima family feud and try look for the Tekken Lore video that explains about not just the family feud but also the story of some of the characters in Tekken
Allow me: Kazuya got his Devil power from his mother who married Heihachi to get closer to him and Kill him. ....yeah that didn't work. Speculation arose and Heihachi threw Kaz off that cliff to see if he had the Devil in his blood. Kazuya being alive obviously proved that. However he still had his Doubt's about his own blood and banged a random Swedish chick to see if the devil came ( giggity ) from him. that's how we got Lars. Hope that helps. Oh and Jinpachi ( Heihachi's dad ) never had the Devil. He got his power after Heihachi imprisoned him under their family Temple to die of starvation. 20 years later his spirit was possessed by a separate evil that filled him with a need for violence and vengeance. Jin took him out to be the cannon winner of Tekken5.
Bro ima need you to react to an actual Tekken lore video on the Mishimas and all the characters so you know who's who and what's going on. The chat's only gonna tell you bits and pieces
Making a list of what every Tekken Beginners says. Also Loved the video and I laughed seeing Tekken Beginners make and say these things. This was no meant to hate or anything. Just for funs and laughs😅 1) He called Jin, Kazuya in 3, 5, and 6 2) Steve, Paul in Tekken 4 and saying Paul was Steve dad 3) Craig Marduk, the Undertaker Not knowing Krystal in 4 5) Called Marduk Steve Austin (my cousins just named him any wrestlers) 6) Surprised that their animals fighutng in the game 7) Not knowing the new characters in their debut (can’t fault ya, even though I did laugh alot) 8) Amazed of the Mysticm Tekken shows in their gsmes (Demons) 9) Called Jinpachi as Heihachi 10) Called Ogre Azazel in TTT2 11) We Tekken fans are still confused of why Akuma was part of Canon 12) Tekken 8 made alot of references, from 2, Tekken Tag 1, and obviously 5
Priot to Tekken 1: Heihachi throws Kazuya off a cliff to see if he survives, cause if he did he had the devil gene just like his mother (Kazumi) which tried to kill Heihachi. Tekken 1: Kazuya survived and trained (26yo) and participates the first Tekken tournament to win over his father and take everything from him, in which he succeeds, throwing him off the same cliff. Tekken 2: Heihachi survived climbing back up and tries to take back what was stolen from him by Kazuya, he faces him at the Tekken 2 tournament and wins, throwing him off a volcano this time. Tekken 3: (Kazuya is presumably dead) Jin kazama, which is kazuya's and jun's son, was trained by Heihachi himself, to find the strenght he needed, after his mother was presumably killed by an ancient god of war named Ogre. He succeeds into the Tekken 3 tournament, in which Ogre appears, probably after noticing Jin unhuman power, Jin then beats Ogre but Heihachi betrays him at the very end by shooting him. Jin then turns into his devil form for the first time, beats Heihachi and disappears. Tekken 4: Kazuya is alive, being brought back by G corp, which was studying his devil gene. He tries to get everything back fighting in the tournament, but Heihachi had other plans. He traps Jin into Hon maru temple and lures Kazuya there. Kazuya devil pops in but soon Kazuya learns how to fuse the two and take complete control over it. Kazuya then awaken's Jin and they immediately fight (Jin wins) Tekken 5: Jin won the battle but the memory of his mother stops him from killing both Kazuya and Heihachi so he flies away. The two wake up after an army of Jacks were trying to kill them, fight together but Kazuya betrays Heihachi leaving him alone in the explosion. Someone organizes the Tekken 5 tournament but nobody knew who, which turned out to be Jinpachi, Heihachi's father, which was controlled by another type of demon, that acted like a parasyte. Jinpachi organized the tournament with the sole purpose of finding someone able to kill him before the demon takes full control. Jin wins and takes control over the Mishima zaibatsu. Tekken 6: Jin starts world war 3 with the only reason to awaken an ancient demon called Azazel, which presumably started the whole "devil gene" thing,. It was said that Azazel would awaken only when great evil arose, and in fact it did. However beating Azazel didn't put an end to the devil gene, like Jin thought. Tekken 7: Akuma shows up to keep his promise to Kazumi (Kazuya's dead mother) trying to kill both Heihachi and Kazuya to stop her prophecy of the two causing destruction in the world. Doesn't succeed, and the two actually fight for good in a volcano. Kazuya kills Heihachi, toss him off that very volcano, and immediately gets interruped by Akuma. The two fight but presumably end in a draw.
Kind of dumb that Tekken5 ''dark resurrection'' wasn't in this. Its my favorite out of the series, and the opening had Lili and Dragunov introduced in a very badass way.
Ling Xiaoyu, isn't Jin's student... think more plucky, comic relief and stalker to Jin. She is however the granddaughter of Wang Jinrei, a badass unlockable character in a bunch of Tekken games.
This gonna be a long comment for all the poeple who actually doesn't know about Tekken lore so sit back and chillax: Tekken 7 actually was one of the games that put a lot of perspective in the story, but in a back and fort effort, Kazuya and Heihachi would try to kill each other. Why? Heihachi try to kill Kazuya by throwing him off a cliff (a tradition in the Mishima Family to know if your son is strong enough (Jinpachi did it with Heihachi)), but he wanted to know if Kazuya was a Demon after all. If he survives, he would had that gene. The way they connect with eatch other to fight was through out Iron Fist Tournaments, made by Mishima Zaibatsu, in an effort to gather all the strongest fighters in the world to win a price, and of course bringe the attention to Kazuya himself to participate (Tekken 3 was actually the only one won by a non-Mishima/Kazama family member, Paul Phoenix, but they give it to Jin cuz Paul defeated Ogre, the main boss of the game, but left when Ogre became his true form, "Ancient Ogre"). After Jin defeating Ancient Ogre, Heihachi, who was a mentor of Kazuya, shot him to awake on him the devil gene. This beef would go on from game to game, only to conclude in a way in Tekken 7, where we understand a lot of things. In one instance, Heihachi marry Kazumi, a complete demon in a human form. This would be the reason why Kazuya and Jin have the Devil Gene. Heihachi with a lot of pain in his heart killed Kazumi, and told that to Kazuya in a way to start building rage on him and see if the devil gene was on his son. In the end of Kazuya's main story in 7, he would ended up killing his father and in a way of hate and love, throw the body in a volcano, ultimatly killing him forever. Now on Tekken 8 the legacy of the beef would pass on to Jin (but we still have Reina Mishima, the lost daughter of Heihachi), and he's gonna try to kill his father to end all this war. I tried to make a resume off all of this nonsense story (who has a Guiness Record for being the videogame story with the most longetivity in the market today) but I missed a lot of stuff for good. Im gonna add some context down below. -Paul Phoenix was the only man to ever defeate Kazuya, and even him acknowledge Paul as one of the strongest men alive. -Marshall/Forrest Law doesn't have a really solid connection to the plot whatsoever. -Lars Alexandersson is one of the illegitimate childs of Heihachi. Making him a half brother of Kazuya and the protagonist of Tekken 6. He's also in love and in a relationship with Alissa Bozconovitch, the pink haired cyborg. -Nina Williams is a truthful ally of Heihachi and the Mishima Zaibatsu. She's much older than what the appearance says, cuz she was put to sleep in a cryosleep in Tekken 2, and woke up on 3. Fun fact: Nina was hired to kill Heihachi, Kazuya and even Jin; failing in all of the efforts. -Anna Williams is her sister and a truthful ally of Kazuya and the G Corporation (a corp who would try to destroy M. Zaibatsu). She's the rival of Nina and they try to kill each other in every chance they get. -Miguel Rojo's sister was killed by the hell that bringed up Jin Kazama in Tekken 6, and he prayed on his dead sister's body that he's gonna kill him. -Eddy Gordo was in prison for falsely claim the death of his father (by request of him). He would ultimately figure it out that Kazuya was the one who killed his father (we actually dont know why) -Reina is the confirmed illegitimate daughter of Heihachi. That makes her the half sister of Kazuya and Lars. -Jinpachi is Heihachi's father and the one who created Mishima Zaibatsu. He was a respected warrior, claimed to be one of if not the strongest warriors of them all. He loved his grandson Kazuya, but this would make Heihachi really mad. This would ended up making Heihachi turning the financial company into a production of military weapon and technology. In a fight between these 2, Heihachi won and put him under the original HQ of Zaibatsu, the Honmaru Temple. Jinpachi would die from starvation, and later revived in Tekken 5, consumed by an unknown evil power. -Kuma is Heihachi's pet (and he would later use some of Mishima's Karate on his moveset in Tekken 8) and Panda is Ling Xiaoyus's pet (same like Kuma but with Ling moveset) -Lee Chaolan is the adoptive son of Heihachi. He would be trained to become the rival of Kazuya, in a childish effort from Hei to make Kazuya really mad. I can put a lot more but im tired, if you wanna know something from other characters or correct some of the information I posted, you're gladly welcome to do so. And remember... Kazuya's 50/50 is bullshit.
Tekken 5 has one of the best cinematic openings, but I really love Tekken Tag Tournament music. The 2nd Tag game I believe is close to 5 in terms of epic cinematics. I highly recommend, “The Insane Lore of Tekken” to make as a video. It’s a long video, but it’s a it’s the most entertaining and concise way to learn the overall lore that isn’t just about the main characters. I also recommend it because it looks like in 8, all of the characters available are gonna be involved in the story.
1000 likes & we'll react to all the Tekken story trailers before the game drops. 🫡 We'll be finishing up all the character trailers next week too since we've had new ones since the first video!

hes a shit dad, kazuya is a shit son and jin is a shit grandson xD
I love tekken SO much, but that whole bloodline is fcked up.
He should not play Tekken 7's story. That shit is straight garbage. Just look it up.
@@SonicMegaKing you are a miserable person. Saying t7's story was garbage is infactual entirely. If it was so bad the fucking game wouldn't have made 10 million fucking dollars
Heihachi is a shit dad. "If my son is not the devil then he's dead, If he is the devil then he'll live and come after me"
Heihachi's wife/ Kazuya's mother (Kazumi) was sent to kill heihachi as a child (both of them were children) but during their training days both of the fell in love and got married later, but after a few years of Kazuya's birth Kazumi's devil powers took control over her and tried to kill Heihachi.
-The difference between Kazuya and Jin it's that Kazuya has the Vegeta haircut and a red eye, while Jin has bangs
-Most of the games have Marshall Law as the Bruce Lee character, but Tekken 3 has his son, Forrest
-The "Indiana Jones" guy in Tekken 3 is Lei Wulong, who debutted in Tekken 2. He's a cop from Hong Kong who joins the tournaments usually to solve cases related to it. Speaking of Tekken 3, this is the first appearance of Jin, Xiaoyu, Hwoarang, Eddy, Panda, Bryan, Mokujin and Julia
-The opening in Tekken 5 starts right after the events of Tekken 4, where Jin defeated Kazuya and Heihachi, and then flew away in Devil form (which is why you see the black feathers).
"-The difference between Kazuya and Jin it's that Kazuya has the Vegeta haircut and a red eye, while Jin has bangs"
Are you fkn serious?
If you want some basic context of the Mishima story
As a child, Heihachi threw Kazuya off a cliff to see if he was strong enough to survive.
The guy he keep calling indiana jones is lei wulong a.k.a jackie chan
NO WAY! That was the basis for that?! That's pretty dope

Some points to clarify:
1. Yes, king is a human. Hes a wrestler from mexico who runs an orphanage.
2. The lara croft character you refer to is michelle chang, the adoptive mother of julia chang
3. Marshall law is the character inspired by bruce lee, he also has a son called forest law, who was in the third tournament.
4. Paul has been in every single tekken game, making him an og, pretty sure hes like nearly 50 years old right now
5. At the end of tekken 1, kazuya defeats heihachi and throws him off the same cliff kazuya was thrown off as a child.
6. Yes the woman in white was jun kazama, she made her debut in tekken 2
7. The woman punching the mirror was michelle again
8. The guy with the robotic arm is yoshimitsu. Like Paul, yoshimitsu is an og, but hes the one character that drastically changes in every single tekken game. Yoshimitsu lost his left arm in a firefight, and is given a replacement by dr bosconovitch
9. The robotic pov of the robots are jack robots, pretty sure the little girl in the scene is called jane, but i might be wrong
10. In tekken 2, king fell into a depression and drunken state after one of the orphans in his care died. Armor king, his rival, got him back on his feet
11. Before they retconned the devil gene, there was a character in tekken 2 called angel, who was holding kazuya near the ending of the tekken 2 intro. She was meant to represent the good side of kazuya
12. The being with red eyes you saw in the beginning was ancient ogre, whom heihachi sought out to gain more power. Ogre is also responsible for setting jin on the path he was on
13. King is actually different in this game. After ogre was awakened, ogre sought out the toughest fighters, this included king, but king didnt survive the encounter with ogre. But an orphan who was in kings care decided to take the mantle of king to help the orphanage, and with the help of his predecessors’ rival, armor king, he got into the shape he needed to enter the third tournament
18. The tekken tag games are not canonical, theyre pretty much just spin offs
19. The tekken 4 intro shows the events of the ending of the second tournament, with heihachi throwing kazuya into a volcano. The fourth game takes place 20 years after the second one
20. Kazuya wont look that much older, if older at all because he gained a new body, but genetically his dna was spliced more towards the devil gene
21. The boxer is steve fox, and is ninas biological son
22. The woman in the green top is christie montero, she is eddy gordos protoge, and the granddaughter of eddys master
23. The wwe wrestler you refer to is craig marduk, a vale tudo fighter. He was imprisoned for killing a man in a bar brawl, which happened to be armor king, king 2s mentor
While she is a kazama, the creator said she isnt jins cousin but is more complicated
28. The chinese guy is feng wei. He debuted in tekken 5. He was a kenpo student, top of his study, until he got into a fight with another student. His master scolded him, but feng killed him
He has appeared in previous tekken games, but hasnt had much of a role until tekken 5
He levelled a forest, only to wake up to find it destroyed, and he knew it was him
She returned in tekken 7 as a dlc character, but was revealed to have absorbed azazels power, hence her purple arm
A LOT to unpack but hopefully you gain a better understanding of the lore of tekken
You said it twice, so I feel the need to clarify:
Devil was ret-conned as a separate entity, the devil gene is what replaced it.
I highly recommend you react to the Insane Lore of Tekken video. It's a long summary but its so worth to watch it.

fckkkkkk yeah
You can react to The Insane Lore Of Tekken.
You released this at the perfect time the be prepared for Tekken 8! And you get points for the "pendulum" quote

And you clciekd it and left a comment so it worked perfectly LOL
Now you have to react to the insane lore of tekken video, you're gonna be in for a absolute ride im telling you
Jin has bangs, Kazuya has slicked back hair.
Just to clarify some of the character relationships for you:
Kazuya, Jin and Heihachi, as well as Lars, are all Mishimas.
Jin and Asuka are of the same clan, making her at best a distant cousin, but they have no real relation like a normal cousin.
Leroy hates Kazuya due to all the crimes he committed on Tekken 2 storyline, apparently provoking a mess and harming people of Leroy's town due to drugs, killings and more.
In the Tekken Tag 2 intro, Angel is ACTUALLY Kazuya, because his bond with Jun is so strong, it influenced the devil gene and changed him into Angel.
Tekken 5 Opening is and will always be the best Video Game opening of all time for me. It has a very special place in my heart.
Ozzy and Drix? Xiaolin Showdown? Bros got all the cultured references ready to rip.
My cultured brother!!! People like you is why I make these videos and make fun references in them
Haven't seen xiaolin showdown in AGES
@@Faiqal_x1103 facts. I recall they had a reboot around 2013 as well.
Paul looks like more Van Damm than Arnold
Watching all the characters ending will give you better context on who they are as a person.
The Family feud Started on Kazumi (She is a Demoness) tries to Kill Haihachi and after Kazuya is born, and it backfires, then Kazuya finds out Her Death and tries to Kill Haihachi, Kazuya got thrown on the clip
It's a shame this compilation didn't also have the Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection intro, Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion intro, and the Tekken Tag 2 arcade intro, cuz those are also worth reacting to.
just to let you know the tekken story is insane, many ending are canon endings.
My man Paul ain't got the Guile hairdo, but the PORUNAREFFU hairdo. Tekken takes a lot of inspiration from Jojo, Kazuya and Jin's gloves are straight up lifted from Star Platinum's, for instance.
FACT! I pointed out a lot of the references in my last Tekken video and a few people got mad, but you can see the Jojo love for sure!
@@ChocolateKieran For sure, and Street Fighter has its own references too, with the Guile-Stroheim designs. Jojo is very influential and people tend to forget how old it really is.
7:43 MY BOI KNOWS SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI OMG
Yup! I have a video playing SMT V on the channel actually & we streamed some of Nocture on Twitch a while back! JRPGs are my favourite games, so I'm gonna try hop back in my bag for Persona 3 Reload starting Saturday 💪🏾
Another things about akuma being there. I’m sure it’s cause akumas whole motive is to find a strong opponent who’s worthy.
You know that Jin is Asuka's cousin but you can't distinguish him from Kazuya 🤣
Yeah they told me in the last video, my main problem is I can’t tell if there’s been design/outfit changes every game and then the graphics change a lot 😂
Correct me if I'm wrong tekken fans but isn't it a new Yoshimitsu in every tekken game
Its the same guy, hes the leader of the Manji clan, its just become tradition that he looks completely different in every game.
I don't know if that's the case with Tekken but I believe it is the case with Soul Calibur
Tekkken 4 intro takes the w
7:03 Nina also had her own game , death by degrees I think it was called
11:31 there's your tag 😂😂😂😂😂
15:51 he look like Chad from bleach lol
My ninja you keep saying cliff heihachi threw that mf in a volcano
Jin = chiseled face with bangs
Kazuya = scarred face with no bangs (with red left eye)
Yeah the thing that kept confusing me is not knowing whether or not they'd change hairstyl;es in the series LOL, but I appreciate that! Bangs vs no bangs helps a lot!
Tekken 7 Heihachi's voice actor is the same as Joseph Joestar from Jojo's. :)
Dude i would definitely recommend you to watch the insane lore of tekken, it summarizes the story very well and you will understand the entire lore behind it
Ah man, your chat really didn't explain much 😭
You should try reacting to the Tekken 7 story mode movie cause they mostly explained about the whole Mishima family feud and try look for the Tekken Lore video that explains about not just the family feud but also the story of some of the characters in Tekken
Heihachi Mishima and Vince McMahon are the same person
Wait, this is highkey my favourite comparison LOL
Allow me:
Kazuya got his Devil power from his mother who married Heihachi to get closer to him and Kill him. ....yeah that didn't work.
Just for funs and laughs😅
1) He called Jin, Kazuya in 3, 5, and 6
2) Steve, Paul in Tekken 4 and saying Paul was Steve dad
3) Craig Marduk, the Undertaker
Not knowing Krystal in 4
5) Called Marduk Steve Austin (my cousins just named him any wrestlers)
6) Surprised that their animals fighutng in the game
7) Not knowing the new characters in their debut (can’t fault ya, even though I did laugh alot)
8) Amazed of the Mysticm Tekken shows in their gsmes (Demons)
9) Called Jinpachi as Heihachi
10) Called Ogre Azazel in TTT2
11) We Tekken fans are still confused of why Akuma was part of Canon
12) Tekken 8 made alot of references, from 2, Tekken Tag 1, and obviously 5
Tekken 5 intro goated
0:07 That's actually a human
They have one more that just came out today
Kazuya then awaken's Jin and they immediately fight (Jin wins)
Tekken 5: Jin won the battle but the memory of his mother stops him from killing both Kazuya and Heihachi so he flies away.
Actually an amazing summary
@@Faiqal_x1103 Thanks fam
THE OG
If you wanna be in the know of the story. The story mode of tekken 7 will do the job for you. You'll know what you need to going into 8
tekken tag 2 will always be favorite
Heihachi is Kazuyas Dad btw.
As a Tekken player I had to be very patient with this street fighter players reaction 😂😂
the ammount of times he confused jin and kazuya haha
to me they look so distinct, but i played every entry in the series soo..
Jun and Ling have never met Ling was taught by her grandpa Wang jinrei
Tekken always has great character endings.
Jin has little bangs , Kazuya look like Vegeta
Jon has the bangs infront, ans is a bit younger looking, kazuya has the slick back hair and one red eye, is more yakuza looking
Now that we got Jun back in the main games (thank god), hope Michelle makes a comeback too. Been too long and she's another OG of the franchise.
dude literaly confused heihachi with stone cold steve austin, you need glasses man
It was literally a joke?! You lot take me too serious sometimes 😂
This gonna be a long comment for all the poeple who actually doesn't know about Tekken lore so sit back and chillax:
Tekken 7 actually was one of the games that put a lot of perspective in the story, but in a back and fort effort, Kazuya and Heihachi would try to kill each other.
He would ultimately figure it out that Kazuya was the one who killed his father (we actually dont know why)
-Reina is the confirmed illegitimate daughter of Heihachi.
-Kuma is Heihachi's pet (and he would later use some of Mishima's Karate on his moveset in Tekken 8) and Panda is Ling Xiaoyus's pet (same like Kuma but with Ling moveset)
-Lee Chaolan is the adoptive son of Heihachi.
Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection opening is not here :(
Tekken 5 has one of the best cinematic openings, but I really love Tekken Tag Tournament music.
SPARKING
Dude, you need to react to the tekken lore video. Tekken lore is wild, and theres an amazing video that takes you through the whole ride.
Video suggestion before starting T8: “The insane lore of Tekken” should give you an idea of the story before playing the game.
