I grew up with y'alls music since I was a boy, man the memories. You're a spectacular drummer, great musicality and tonality from the drums that's snare specially had that staccato POP, great man !

Hi Matt, I'm a huge fan of your drum work from Texas! I've been a King Diamond fan since I was 12 years old back in the Fatal Portrait days and I must say you do a fantastic job of filling everyone shoes, not to mention your wonderful studio work. Also, there is a drum playthrough video of you on sick drummer Channel playing through welcome home. I've watched that video many times because your drums and cymbals sound so good. It seems like the best symbol sounds I've ever heard throughout the years all the way back to the likes of Nicko Mcbrain are played on Paiste cymbals. Good choice! I know this is a big request and if you can't fulfill it I understand but I would absolutely love to see you do a playthrough video of the Puppet Master title track. Thanks for all the music brother, I've really enjoyed it over the years. Big fan. Cheers 🍻

I need to learn the main beat from the song tho, it's such a cool pattern on that ride, is it sorta like a "paraddidle" thingie going on leaving one hand out or? If I said that it was a mistake, I meant to say AABA form (I think I did). A = a musical idea (in this case the first part of the intro, the motif with the snare drum dominant) A = same idea repeated B = different idea (the part with the toms dominant), this is the “bridge”. A = a return to the first idea (the end of the fill) In this case it is very short and goes by quick. I don’t know if Mikkey intended this, but that’s how it turned out! Song form is worth studying.

It starts with a double paradiddle...do this sticking: RLRLRRLRRLR with the right hand on the bell and the left on the snare drum.
