I am a 60 yr old experienced woman and surely these 2 wasn't or weren't just acting. The emotions are real. It can be felt from ep 8 to the last ep. From a simple side glancing to the locking of eyes. I can't imagine both feelings to the point that there are deleted passionate kissing scenes speaks a thousand words. Wu Lei was even struggling to hold out his feelings behind the scene. In his mind he wanted to devoured her hahaha 😊.
