It was pure entertainment without any underlining moral or social message … just love is illogical 👌 The scenarios of misunderstanding lead to a few really funny dialogues. Great micro expressions from the actors, especially Dylan Wang. I also learnt a few things about China’s media, her commercial and technical developments. A new fan from Australia.

shuyi friend was a total red flag for me . I was irritated every time she stopped shuyi to expresses her true feelings for shiyan . Misunderstandings can only be cleared through conversations but her advice distanced them even more. I was glad at last his niece became a cupid btwn them
Ugh, her friend gave the worst relationship advice. It’s no surprise though considering how toxic her own relationship was for the first half of the drama. Both her and Guan Ji were so immature, neither wanting to communicate with each other and just continuing the cycle of pain and resentment. Even after Shi Yan found out the Shuyi had lied to him to get close to him in the beginning, instead of encouraging Shuyi to fight for him and find every avenue to apologize and reassure him of her true feelings, her “friend” was encouraging her to just get together with Yi Yang instead. I’m like WTF?? Girl, part of this mess was because Shuyi too your crappy advice!!
The fact that she was hiding her problem and relationship from her bestie... But want to know everything about her... She communicates well with her own man telling him what she wants and needs from their relationship. But advised her friend to do otherwise makes a whole fire not just a red flag
I love both dramas! All my favorite actors too! tho I don’t know much about Zhao Jinmai and Amidst a Snowstorm of Love was a little too slow so I didn’t finish it.
I just finished this series today and I regret not watching it earlier or when it was shown last 2023. This is one of the best dramas I've ever watched. And I dont normally watch Cdrama and this is the only one that made me hook to the show till the last episode and I even wanted more. I need season 2 pls! Great story and I love the slow burn but realistic relationship struggles and couple moments that was shown here. Of course the reason that gave me the show a try, this great couple Bailu & Wang Hedi! They instantly became my favorite Cdrama actors ever! Their chemistry is superb! Everything about them together makes you believe they are soulmates for reel and real. Season 2 plssssss!!!!
This is my first time watching any Chinese drama and no regrets of spending so many hours finished all 36 + bonus episodes in just 2 days the cast and characters are awesome especially @Dylan Wang did justice to his character looking forward for more in future.. totally loved it 😍 ❤

I love this edit!!! It sums up the series quite well. As much as I like Bai Lu, her character in this series left a lot to be desired. She was so whiny and childish at times that it made me cringe. Didi did an amazing job in his role. He was so mature and loveable. Like who wouldn't fall in love with Shi Yan. At times I felt bad for Shi Yan when ZY acted dumb and hid from SY. And that annoying ex-boyfriend like omg he had to go away! With that said, this dragged on for 36 episodes and fast forwarded a lot. This series could have been a drama/romance in a mature way. Alas, I still love Dylan😻💘
