- Yep, The time has come and it does get cold here, so ive gotta get them all inside before they all Freeze !

@@AdriansFishroom I think ur doing great, i enjoy the out of the fishroom stuff too, think its a great "format" with the jobs of the week style. If i had to point my finger at something it would be that the music gets a bit repetitive at times (but dont change the intro :)). Hope you enjoy making as much as i enjoy viewing.

It’s funny I’m just getting ready to get a pond set up this year across the pond. Trying to decide on stocking.
So cool and thanks for the support… I would go Medaka and or white clouds (normal and golden) they would also most likely survive your winter too. Maybe 🤞🙏❤️🦘🇦🇺👍🏻

a pinch of daphnia into that Mountain Dew water and I'll be feeding a fish room in a week with live food
There’s actually native daphnia in the creek which i harvest each year …. I’m going to do it again this year and see if I can keep it alive.🙏❤️🦘🇦🇺🐶

Just wondering what your water is like ?ppm ph? For guppies? Do you use rain water also?
No just my tap water usually in the fishroom but rain outdoors. Ph is about 7.8 and no idea on tds etc as I don’t test for it.🙏❤️🦘🇦🇺🦘🐶

When you set up the new homes/tanks for the guppies, what do you do to get them cycled for the fish?
I have squeezed a cycled sponge into that new tank with very successful results.
Yep, that’s a great way to do it, but for those guys, I didn’t do anything at all. I just used new and existing rocks and plants from other tubs and no filter or air at all. Guppies do just fine like that although they will also be happy and filtered And heated water.🙏❤️🇦🇺🦘🐶

I have had some odd female guppies come out of my purple moscow line. They give birth to only 1 or 2 babies at a time and they come out massive like 4 times the size of normal and each one so far has been also female and looks like a clone of the mother. I have seperated them out to see if this continues. Thanks for another great video!

Thanks very much. We are in a subtropical climate in Southeast Queensland and the temps range from zero a couple of times a year right up to 40° at the opposite end of the scale a couple of times a year. Mostly the range is between 20 and 30°C as an average🙏❤️🦘🇦🇺🐶

Hi Adrian, l'm loving all your vlogs. Could I please ask for your help. I've just installed a complete home water filter system. My levels- PH, Gh and Kh have drastically changed, do I need to add Kh & Gh treatments to my water when I do a water change? I'm worried my fish will be affected even if I do a small 10% change to get them used to the new water chemistry. I have 7 tanks with a range of Rainbows, Tetras, live bearers, Angels, Shrimps and plecos etc
Hey there, OK well I think mostly, you will be pleased to find out that you are stressing over nothing. To work on the safe side I would suggest that you do a 10 to 20% oil change every week for a month to slowly acclimate them, however, you could also be so bold as to transfer them straight over and I doubt you would have too many problems. Fish are very hardy and can handle some pretty drastic changes in water parameters in nature.
Play it safe and do it slowly, and I’m sure you’ll have no problems. Best of luck and please let me know how it goes.🙏❤️🦘🇦🇺🐶
Thanks, Adrian. And you're definitely right, l'm an overthinker when it comes to the fin kids 😅 l remember watching your filter system vlog and decided to do the same (more for them than me)! I suppose I panicked when I checked the levels and my Ph went from 7 to 8 and no gH and kH at all. Which then rolled onto wondering if l have any essential minerals in the water at all?! I'll do as you advised and wait to see how the fin kids go.
Side note- l'm a dedicated fan from Victoria and watched Nicks vlogs of your setup and personal mantra, and I am so super glad you have a TH-cam channel. Your experience and knowledge will be so important to us, Aussies. Regards Anne

Great stuff, Adrian! Thanks for sharing. One of these days I'll figure out how to make green water. Maybe it's just our environment. I'll keep working on it. Mostly I just get mosquitoes. Then when it gets hot here (120+F in the summer), the water evaporates so damn fast it's hard to keep up with keeping the bucket full. A work in progress.
