    Been using autocad to do all the deatailing. This one seem to be the right one for producing working drawings in a shortest time possible.
    This is well presented. Am subscribing rightaway👍

    May you please do a video detailing a slab using SANS CODES and demonstrate how you do Alternate Bars Reversed(ABR) and Alternate Bars(Alt).

    Hello, if we have several floors when rebar detailing, should we difference the rebar size for each column, beam, and slab on each floor? Especially when we want to make automatic bill of quantity from Revit.

    • @skillmaxacademy
      @skillmaxacademy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. Not sure if I got your question right. Size of rebar will depend on structural analysis considering expected loads.

    • @fillbertnjoko7875
      @fillbertnjoko7875 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I mean that if we want to make rebar schedulling, should we define rebar size for each column, beam, and slab on each floor?(i.e 19mm column A lvl 1, 19mm column B lvl 1, 19 mm column C lvl 2, 19 mm beam A lvl 1, 19 mm beam B lvl 1, etc) ,
      in this video ( see 6:27 and 12:17) you were using Y12 for both column and footing. When we want to know the quantity of rebar, how revit can difference the rebar for columns and footing?

    • @skillmaxacademy
      @skillmaxacademy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@fillbertnjoko7875 oh I understand now. You assign rebar to partitions. For example B1, B2, C1, Base 1 etc... These will be recognized in the schedule.

    Thank you for a great video, very easy to understand.
    I was wondering though, why do you model your columns as individual elements from level to level instead of a single column from footing to the highest level ?

    • @skillmaxacademy
      @skillmaxacademy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can do that. But you may wish to know that columns. Are constructed from level to level, another reason is that I use robot structural analysis which requires splitting at levels

    Hey guys, what strategies are you using to replicate rebar modeling across columns that are the same type? using assemblies? Copy and paste? If a type of column changes the rebar, I have to manually track all columns and change it? For a small project, this is feaseable, but not large projects.

    Hello, I found your video very informative, but I'm curious. Where I live, we use AUTOCAD for detailing the rebar in concrete structural elements. I'm wondering, is this progam efficient enough to suffice a change? And also, where can one find rebar libraries?

    hi skillmax, how can i 1) add a footer on a bending schedule, 2) add separate partitions/members on one bending schedule, 3) split a bending schedule to fit on a singe sheet eg A4, 4) make a created bending schedule with header and footer, a default one? Thank you.
