I’m so excited to see your great loop journey! I am prone to motion sickness as well, but I so love the water! Can I ask what you used? I’ve tried Dramamine, Bonnine and sea bands (these worked pretty well). Years ago, I tried a patch (made me feel very dehydrated). Safe travels!
Hi Maria, Thanks for your comments. The seasick medication came highly recommended by long-term cruisers and it's called Stugeron. It is widely available outside the US. Many of the sailors who do races all over the world use it. Karen DeVoll of Capable Cruising gave it to me. She has read studies about it’s efficacy and found they included sailors. Most use it as their go to sea sickness remedy. Karen originally heard from Pam Wall who is a pretty well known sailor who speaks at many events and has lived aboard her sailboat her whole life and raised her kids aboard etc.
