Small Town America - Great Family Fun!

We took off for what would be our families 39th year doing a summer trip to Michigan. We've got lots of great memories in Michigan and we hope we get to share some of those moments with you.
We start off in South Haven just to get ahead of a weather system coming through, (only to be stuck in rain most of the way anyway) and worked our way up the west side of Michigan until we got to Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Most of this video was spent there, and we also took some time to go visit Ludington. The walk to the lighthouse is always something we enjoy doing as a family...even in crazy wind, as you'll see.
This is the first of several Michigan videos. In the next one, we'll spend some time on the dunes, visit the marina town of Pentwater (that really has an old school America vibe to it that we particularly love) and eventually make our way up to Petoskey.

We should have stopped in there. We stopped in once a few years and visited. Looked pretty full and not much personal room for camping but a great place to go visit for sure.
