One of my favourite places,,,,I call this the Salt and Sweet ,,,Ocean and River mixing,,,be careful the beach waves are very rough,, no swimming ,,,I liked swimming in the river. Clean ,,sweet water. Keep good ,,,🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹

So glad you gave that warning about the beach. On my first trip there some local guys warned us and we had to stick to the river. It can be really dangerous if you are unaware.

Being back on the other side of the Atlantic after almost 10 years in sweet T&T your videos give me the remembrance of the amazing places I've been in your lovely country.
Sad to see though that the potholes in that area gotten even worse in a country with so much pitch...
Going from the packing area along the beach towards the river there use to be coconut tree kinda falling down that was fantastic for some scenic pictures...not sure if it's still there...
Most things are honestly very similar to how you may have left it haha 😆 you know trinidad 🇹🇹 is stuck in time! And the road’s always getting worse haha 😂
Aside from the beautiful scenery and your excellent productions, you really need to list the music that you play. You have great sounds.

D2 has strong currents but no drop off.
But all these beaches on these coastlines are beautiful and sometimes very rough. So people need to be careful

@@Trini_Surfer I've been living here for over 10 years and the scenery is breathtaking. I never get tired of the incredible views and lakes! Currently we're in summer which is an amazing time to visit. Long days, warm weather and so many places to hike and camp!

Nice work Alan and friends. So many familiar sights along the way. I did a painting of this beach about 20 years ago, looks like the remaining stacks have been eroded away. Thanks for recording this beach in 2022, who knows what it will look like in 2042!

Hello Alan. Really nice videos. Want to take a trip to Marianne's. One question, could a car drive on to the beach parking. I know you guys have a pick up.
You can park on the earlier area of the beach but getting stuck is possible but in sand. So maybe park on the road. The walk is like 2 mins

Is there any of the bays in Blanchisseuse that is safer to bathe in?
Honestly, only if you are a strong swimmer would it be completely safe. That coast can be ver rough. But you can stay on the shallow.
Did you have to engage 4wheel to get to the beach from where you paid uncle? Or can you drive normal 2wheel?
Maybe you should do a Galeota run in the future.
It certainly helps to have a four wheel drive ! But a 2 wheel could do it as well.

Just take a drive on the north or up to toco ! So many beaches to be seen!
