    I received a question about changing grid size, so I thought I’d add a comment here for others having a similar issue.
    Here’s how to change the grid size:
    After clicking “edit drawing guide” in the actions menu, select 2D grid, then there is a panel at the bottom where you can adjust opacity, grid size, etc.
    Use the sliders or tap the number and a pop up menu will appear where you can manually type in the number you wish and units of measure you’d like to use.
    Hope this helps!

      Sorry mine isn’t appearing. I want to create 10cm. Circle seampless pattern. How do i do that?//

      @@khadeejaabid8409 Your grid isn’t appearing? An alternative would be to draw the circle. Tap the arrow tool. Tap one of the nodes that appears on the dotted bounding box around your shape. Then manually type in the exact size you want your shape to be.
      (You will need to convert measurement to pixels. 300 dpi = 118 dots per centimeter. If you’re working in this resolution, you could type 1180 px as the size for your circle.)
      Keep in mind the circles won’t stay this size if you scale your pattern! It’s hard to give exact directions without the project in front of me! Hope this helps!

    Thanks so much for your instructions; they are calm, clear and not hurried. My drawing guide were off centered, so I had to adjust them using the blue dot INSIDE the Edit Drawing Guide page, before clicking done. I have not seen anyone mention this yet and it might be very frustrating if your lines aren't perfectly centered, as yours are. I'm still a beginner but have found many helpful tricks and tips by watching your videos. I am a huge fan, keep up the great work!

    It appears that the grids access has changed

      Hey there! To access the grid, click the actions menu, drawing guide, “edit drawing guide”, select 2D grid, then there is a panel at the bottom where you can adjust opacity, grid size, etc.
      Use the sliders or tap the number and a pop up menu will appear where you can manually type in the number you wish and units of measure you’d like to use. Hope this helps!

    Why are your menus not similar to Canva I have?

    • @MyMcDoodles
      @MyMcDoodles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean my Procreate canvas menus??? (This was filmed about a year ago and there have been app updates since.)
      If you really mean the website Canva, I use Canva Pro and the menus may look slightly different. They are also constantly updating features and things in the menus, so it may have slightly changed since filming any Canva tutorials.
      Hope this answers your question. 😊
