Thank you Jennifer for making this as easy to understand as possible. I really appreciate all of the specific steps that you show. I can't wait to go try to make my own seamless design. Thanks so much!
excellent tutorial, after having seen more than 20 videos on the subject, this is the first one that is complete, that does not omit steps, and not only that but each step or configuration is based on an explanation that I can understand.
This video was VERY helpful! Now I know what I have been doing 'wrong'! LOL Thank you for the video! **UPDATE** I was finally able to create an image using some flowers to try this tutorial using my PaintShop Pro 2020. I LOVED the results! Thank you again so much for allowing us to learn from your free tutorial!
Brilliant tutorial... I'm new to Procreate and want to make patterns. This is just the video I was looking for. I'm definitely going to check out your Skillshare classes! Thank you :)
Hello Jennifer. Thank you for this video. Every video I see about procreate the artist is right-handed and it looks like the panel for the layers is always on the right side. There are lots of left-handed artists myself included and I'm just wondering if this is a comfortable format for lefties. Before I buy an iPad and install procreate I'd like to know if it's going to work for me. Any advice?
You’ve made a seamless repeat tutorial of mugs with seamless repeat pattern! SO CUTE! Thank you for the great tutorial, your voice is very soothing too :)
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have tried others and I was about to give up making repeat patterns. thanks to you now I can enjoy making patterns. :)
Great tutorial!!! I tried to follow along but I couldn’t find the stamps that would help create the pattern. I was able to download the brushes you kindly gifted us but just for the life of me had no clue how to download the butterfly and the leaves you showed on the repeat pattern. Could you please make another tutorial showing us how to do it? Thank you so much 😜
Great video. I'm new to ProCreate. So much easier than trying to do repeats in Photoshop. I find I continue to refer back to this video regularly. Thank you! I do have a question. I created a 3000 px canvas to use. The color profile defaulted to P3 which I understand to be an Apple thing. Is this okay for SpoonFlower textile designs or should I change it to one of the RGB profiles? I checked in the SpoonFlower help center but it doesn't seem to be addressed there. Thanks.
Thank you for explaining the reason for the orange triangles. I have scratched my head a few times trying to figure out why the whole page wasn’t there.🤣
Great video. Thank you. When uploading to Spoonflower: I read on their site they convert dpi to 150. When designing my pattern at 300 dpi will my elements be smaller on Spoonflower? Thanks for any help you can give.
Oh the swiping down with three fingers and copying , does it for any patter your trying to combine? To make a seamless? I learned a seamless on a another video, but I was stuck at the part I added more layers of clip art to fill in the empty spaces and i was stuck on how to combine the layers, so I can flatten and make it repeat. I think you just helped me
At Spoonflower there is a guide, where you'll find this kind of information, wether you are making a pattern for fabric, wall paper, tea towels or wall art.
How did you adjust the size of the image and rotate them without the lines degrading? Anytime I adjust the size or rotate an image, Procreate always blurs the lines of the object
Hi Jen, How do I reduce my pattrens into the tiny ditsy pattrens. My daughter wants to use my art for her business and I need to make them tiny so they show up on her keychains. Thanks!🥰
Hello Jennifer and Spoonflower, Thank you for uploading this video. I found it super helpful. I only have one question, I noticed that as the layers get duplicated /cut & pasted, the color gets more and more saturated thus loosing its original color. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Thank you for your time and I look forward to a solution :D
When you duplicate in procreate it looks more saturated because it overlays. So where your original design is the next is directly over top. When you turn off one layer or the other or move the layers you should notice the colours and opacity go back to original.
I can’t understand at all why each mug’.s group of layers was not merged together to flatten, but instead they were copy and pasted to flatten. Does anyone know what difference this made?

How do you create vertical lines if you can’t have them touch the edge?
Why is it when I create seamless designs following this tutorial when I upload to Spoonflower it shows as very noticeable squares?
They don’t answer any questions unfortunately. But this is a easier and better tutorial with no lines th-cam.com/video/oK2hZcOGEMQ/w-d-xo.html
@@littlehtxgirly thanks. I’m going to check it out
Hi just wondering which design you upload to spoonflower to print?
Hello Jennifer and Spoonflower, Thank you for uploading this video. I found it super helpful.
