    Hi, yes, connect the Zone 2 lineouts of your TX-NR515 to the Line in connectors of your CS-N755 to use the CS-N755 as your Zone 2 amplifier. And regarding your question #2, that 's also possible - so you can easily stream music from your bluetooth enabled laptop/smartphone or tablet directly to your CS-N755. Many thanks for asking!

    Hi, the CS-N755 offers Digital IN (opt/coax) and Analog IN/OUT - but no dedicated Phono. However, you could use an external phono equalizer: turntable -> Phono EQ -> Analog IN of CS-N755. Thanks for asking!

    Hi, yes, it is DLNA comptible (which is support by a wide rage of software servers and NAS devices) and works with Windows Media Player. For more information, please also consult the PDF manual on our website: eu.onkyo.com/en/products/cr-n755-90333.html (e.g. page 27 for the setup of Windows Media Player)

    Hi, for connected USB memory devices, you can use e.g. random playback, repeat one or repeat folder on USB drive. For detailed information please have a look at the product manual on eu.onkyo.com which explains the different playback modes available for each source like CD, USB memory, etc. Many thanks for asking.

    Hi, hope you can help. I have a Onkyo Tx-nr515, and am looking to purchase this micro system to have in my kitchen and hook the 515 to it and use it as my "zone 2", as opposed to me just having an integrated stereo amp in there. Two questions, 1, is it possible to do this via the "line in" on the rear of the Cs-n755?, and 2, if i purchase the UBT-1, can i hook it up to the rear usb on the Cs-n755, and stream audio from my bluetooth laptop?, apologies if these questions have already been asked

    I have three sets of Polk 601 ceiling speakers and a splitter. Can I use this set up without the provided speakers? The ceiling sets are each 25 feet away.

    • @OnkyoEU
      @OnkyoEU  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      lanbentsen Hi, the receiver has 22W/ch at 4 ohm. This is typically powerful enough to drive a set of stereo speakers with good efficiency. But driving three sets of speakers using a splitter will most likely require a different power amp, as the amount of speakers has multiplied...

    I'm about to extend my onkyo cr-n755 with a subwoofer. I was wondering what signal is the subwoofer getting from the pre-out? Is it a limited frequency band? if yes, what are the min and max. frequencies?

    • @OnkyoEU
      @OnkyoEU  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +cfgauss Hi, we're afraid there are not that many options: in EU, there is currently only one Onkyo subwoofer that is sold separately, the SKW-208. It's an active 120 W down-firing sub with 50 Hz to 200 Hz adjustable crossover frequency, phase switch and output level control. More details (e.g. incl. a picture) and be found here: www.eu.onkyo.com/en/products/skw-208-34611.html Thanks for asking!

    Hi, can I connect and iPad 2 to the USB port for music playback (the same way as an iPhone or iPod)? If so, would I be able to navigate and select the music from the iPad itself (using for instance the default Music app), instead of relying on the Onkyo remote and screen? Thanks!

    • @OnkyoEU
      @OnkyoEU  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, we are afraid that only iPods and iPhones are certified to be used with this product. But you may use either the 3,5 mm headphone jack output of the iPad2 to connect it to the CS-N755, or you could use the Onkyo Remote App (download via Apple AppStore) to stream music from your iPad to the CS-N755 over your WiFi network (in this case please make sure that you select "iPhone" apps to be shown in the AppStore). Thanks for asking!

    N765, the new version: can I use a 1TB portable HDD formatted in NTFS, with my music backup sorted in Artist\Album\files.flac connected to the USB port? I find it a cool amplifier/receiver with the plus of the CD drive, but if I can't use my backup hard disk I can't buy it, it would be a waste of money since now I can use a Blu-ray player connected to an A/V receiver 7.2 (but without USB port/Wi-Fi).

    • @OnkyoEU
      @OnkyoEU  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +delpinsky Hi, the CS-N765 has e.g. the following requirements for USB devices: The unit supports USB storage devices that support the USB Mass Storage Class. FAT16 and FAT32 formats are supported for USB storage devices. If a USB storage device is divided into multiple partitions, this unit will recognize them as separate volumes. This unit supports up to 20,000 files and 16 folder levels within a single folder.
      Some other restrictions may apply - like the unit might not be able to use media that is loaded into a USB
      card reader.
      For all details please see page 40 in the CS-N765 manual "Compatible devices/media/file formats". Here you will find descriptions for support devices, media and file format specifications. The manual is available as PDF on www.eu.onkyo.com.

    Hi, I really like the new N765 except the really frustrating 1 line display, I wanted a single unit to play cd's and my large digital music library and, although the unit is really great, it's so annoying trying to find NAS based music using only 1 display line. The app is better, shame its not on the ipad too, but a proper multi-line display would have made this unit superb. Sadly, I sent mine back.

    Why in Italy is so difficult repair your products under Onkyo guarantee?
    Why on your site "repair.onkyousa.com/eu/" the repair is done properly under warranty while in Italy we have to contact the italian dealer who says he can not 'fix it under warranty?
    Italians maybe would like to know these answers before buy a device of your brand, also because your problem "loss of audio" is quite common.
    I think that no-one from Onkyo will answer, and this will be your answer ...

    • @OnkyoEU
      @OnkyoEU  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, basically Onkyo offers support and repair in the country you originally bought the unit. In case of the Customer Care Program the Onkyo distributor can reject the repair if he did not import the specific unit himself.
      In that case you can still sent the unit to our service center in Germany. We can repair it and sent it back to you at our cost.
      Please sent the receiver to:
      ONKYO Service Center - HIFI-Service Kruse
      Custumer Service Program

      that should be "We've moved!" ... You're not aware about this ?

      Hi, apologizes for the confusion - the address HiFi-Service Kruse, Fraunhoferstr. 11, D-82152 Planegg-Martinsried, Germany is correct. If you don't feel comfortable sending your unit to this service center, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our customer care team to verify the process/your options: (+49) 08142 4208 11, Mo - Fri: 10 to 17.

      Hi, I've spoken with customer care that have confirmed what you've written; I've sent the device to the address you've given me and it has been repaired under warranty.
      I have to review what I thought about Onkyo, probably the only problem here is that the italian customer care Tecnofuturo srl is completely useless and this affect what Onkio do in a correct way.
      I hope that one day italian customers will have a customer care similar to other European country.
      Anyway ... thank you to you, all the people in customer care and to HiFi Service Kruse, everybody was very kind.
