I honestly just came here to know how to pronounce his name so i won't sound weird when i ask about his books in bookstores
I'm always terrified to ask in case it's wrong haha.
You can always ask for Chuck P.
shootyall or "ya boy chucky"
No bullshit??? Hahaha. I came to hear his name pronounced too. I've bought his books and hate having to say his last name in as many different ways as I can pronounce it. It's a little embarrassing to be such a fan and not know something as important as his name. Peace lol.
Missy Jackson Just did the same thing.
He's like a character in his own book.
The Narrator in Fight Club
Hes in fight club 2

Just bought the complete graphic novel signed by chuck. Its immediately rocketed to the top of my collection.
It’s kind of an autobiography
Respect for both of these guys. Neither one of them wants to make jokes or have fun with the audience, they just want to talk about chuck. Neither one of them is full of themselves like most talk show hosts and guests. It's refreshing to see them actually serious about the subject at hand
+Kyle Schneid Totally agree.
The pajamas speak to me on a spiritual level.
"Stroumboulopoulos" is one hell of a (last) name.
I love it.
God, I love Palahniuk so much. He's such a great writer and he stories are amazing.
This was a truly fantastic interview. Chuck is like a partial shadow of Edgar Allen Poe and George Stroumboulopoulos is pretty much the best interviewer i've seen so far.
Ohh, Chuck you are a spirit animal for me.
It took a while to realize this episode was on Halloween. Makes so much more sense.
I cannot describe my love for this man.
Man I love this guy 💕 Chuck is amazing
I loved Rant, can't wait to check out more of his work
Fight club was NOT a blood and guts film, Fincher doesn't make those. It was bloody, but there was only one death throughout the entire film.
Yeah minus the entire city being leveled
Yeah, and his name was Robert Paulson.
@@MaxOVADrive his name was Robert Paulson
George is one of the great interviewers of our time
Did anyone noticed the big-ass broach he had on his neck? Was he trying to do that Peter- Wilmot's-search-for-the-next-savior/artist thing like he depicted in "Diary"?
I loved how short the excerpt was. Not because I didn't want to hear more, but because anything more than that and Chuck probably couldn't read it on public airwaves in daylight hours.
Chuck rocks.
Should get this book. His books are always short snappy dark and to the point
I enjoyed Damned and loved Doomed. Still waiting for the last book of the trilogy!
Excellent thumbnail lol
Obviously George knows he is gay....but I am sure he was speaking of other options when it came to having kids. this interview could have been alot longer.
I can't decide which outfit I like better here.
He's my latest literary obsession
Did he say "three" books?
Anyone know why the name was changed from "doomed" to "damned"?
It wasn’t changed, Doomed is a sequel to Damned.
Seems like a laid back dude.
It's just not gonna happend lol
que PRO
Max+Chuck +Willam.
Are in the same group.🤣
William is the real name of Brad pitt
try to say these guys names 10 times fast
wow they must have searched a lot to find a tv presenter whose surname is like a million times harder to pronounce than chuck p.
chuck coming dressed like a jazzy arthur dent
if Mr Stroumboulopoulos made it without a stage name, anyone can make it.
Too short!
el estilo
love the guest, not the host
Is chuck related spiritually to david lynch me thinks as much to say to imagine
Why David Lynch
Up until watching this I thought it was Palla-new-ik
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory outfit vibes.
Swag lol
In our world, in our country, and people of his influence; conventional methods aren't the ONLY methods to having children. Sexuality is not a factor, adoption/surrogates/etc. Chuck doesn't wish to have children, or he is possibly physically unable(by genetic or physical issues). In the end, does it really matter to you or me? It's not our family to raise(or not) it isn't our life to live. I'm sure we'd all love to see little Palahniuks pitter pattering around but that isn't our choice and I feel we should all honor his privacy and or choice in that matter.
We don't NEED to know every single thing about our darlings.
rieskimo loser
что у него с зрачками!?)
the Commie Chair the love of Blood "Red" Chair of DEMOCOMMIES
Well shit I've been pronouncing it wrong
Oh wait, according to some comment I've been pronouncing it one of two ways
Everyone says fight club is about masculinity and shit. If you read it you'd realise it's about saving yourself and saving the world.
There's a very direct line in the book that refers to the masculinity bit. Something that Tyler says along the lines of "This is the product of men who were raised by single mothers and had no purpose" or something like that. Not disproving your point, just pointing out the reasoning behind the masculinity thing.
books can be about multiple things
"It's just not gonna happen" sounds like he would love to have kids :///
@@digitalintent I know
looks like mr rogers found a new gig as david provost in my old neighbourhood yelled at me when I shoveled the snow in my driveway during like a blizzard in the 90s because I piled it a little on his grass and bushes then him and his family dissed me discrimination because I lived in a can am urban native home so i fought back on the war path(i AINT EVEN ABORIGINAL)...because when I first moved next door to him he had it all roped off like a fence with broken hockey sticks and skipping rope tacky because i heard the last tenant's little girls walked on his grass sometimes when they played outside as if they was better than but yeah he seemed gay and one of his sons was retarded so he took it out on us because he didn't have a job
I read most of Palahniuks work. He's one of the few authors I'm into besides Joe Meno and James Frey.I'm not a fan of all his stuff.I didn't like pygmy, tell all or rant.
Chuck's doing the gay sitting position. You know what I mean
Yea I'm pretty sure that's why he says he isn't having kids. Gay! Not that it matters
Awful thumbnail
He doesn't go into that often, but he's attracted to men and women. I wonder if he feels he is unable to be attractive to women.
I think Ryan leone is a better writer. This guy is way too gimicky.
+Stacy Anthony put ryan leone in the search bar then press enter then, dont see how thats so hard
Chuck Pluck is a writer EVEN MORE predictable than Stephen King. And you thought it wasn't even possible.
Fight club was NOT a blood and guts film, Fincher doesn't make those. It was bloody, but there was only one death throughout the entire film.
