Palahniuk is a weird dude. I don't know if he's trying to act all eccentric and bizare because "that's what artists do" or it's actually genuine. Either way, I love some of his novels.
@@yurisargsyan2968 The ascot, the large, garishly ornate broach, the smoking jacket, the bare feet and sitting cross legged atop the cushioned seat of the chair rather than how one would normally sit (such as the host). I’ve not seen him dress or behave in this manner before this so it does seem oddly out of character as if he were playing some sort of character or characterization of what others might expect him to be.
I used to have so much respect for Chuck Palahniuk as a writer until he appeared in this interview dressed like this. His work speaks for itself. No need to add gimmicks.
I don't see the issue, it was halloween. And he was touring his new book Damned, so he dressed up like the devil in his pj's. he doesn't write for tourists like you anyway
