There will never be peace when we tragically lose someone. Like she said “I” said the penalty imposed on the suspect will never bring the person we (she) lost back….. It’s sad…. So sad…. Heartbreaking sad.
I lost my brother in Iraq in 2005. I understand the circumstances are different yet grief is universal. Grief for me has changed over the years from sorrow and regret to now memories of for gone and better days. I pray that your grief evolves as well.
This poor family is in so much pain. I hope and I pray that they can find some assimilation of peace and happiness. I also hope they know that Hana is and always will be with then, forever.
My heart breaks for these families... these young children that are struggling to get past all this. Unfortunately.... Time is just a word. The Heart is what they have to struggle with every day... every year without their loved one. The Memory & Heart has to fight mentally & emotionally of what they experienced & will have to continue to experience without the loved one... or just the PTSD. Healing is not as easy for those who have literally experienced the horrific day. ***THERE ARE IMPORTANT PEOPLE WHO SHOULD WATCH THESE VICTIM IMPACT STATEMENTS... THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED AGAINST STRICT GUN CONTROL LAWS IN THE HOUSE OF REP... BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO HAVE THEIR GUNS TAKEN AWAY* Yet, I have a strong feeling... what these parents & children have gone through those in the House of Rep. wouldn't give two hoots about their pain or fears that they are facing daily. Why.... because they don't want to lose their financial backing of the company that makes these guns. The Children are in a war zone.... a War against Adults with Greedy Power... Who refuses to pass anything to protect our children's lives. Yet... they still get voted into office, because they have the financial backing of those who make & arm these sick ... demented people with these guns & REFUSE to PASS STRICT NATIONWIDE GUN LAWS!!! My heart goes out to these families.. these children that they find light again.
This young lady is so articulate & I am sobbing listening to her heartbreak. I pray she finds peace one day.

Breaks my heart ❤️ 😢 hearing her blaming herself for leaving that monster who shot her sister as well as his parents are the only ones to blame
Pain is still raw…you will one day hopefully do an activity in memory of your sister…and smile because you remember her beautiful spirit
So incredibly senseless…
