    ANSWERS:
    1. Potential Energy and Kinetic energy
    2. PE=M×G×H
    PE=0.5 Kg(500g) × 10m/s²(Gravitational force on Earth is 10m/s²) × 1m
    PE=0.5 × 10 × 1
    PE=5 J
    3. Both the boys will have the same potential energy as both of them have the same mass. The path taken to reach the first floor does not matter. So, the height also remains the same. Both of them are on Earth. So, the gravity is the same.

    Q1:
    A: Elastic potential energy ( the spring)
    B: since the ball falls from a height to the table and the ball slows down as it goes up it is Gravitational potential energy
    C: as we said in part B the ball slowed down as it went up so height increased. Now in part C the height is decreasing so kinetic energy
    Sorry if you didn’t get my explanation
    Q2:
    PE = mgh
    = 0.5kg * 9.8m/s * 1m
    = 4.9 joules ( J )

    The form of Energy are:
    1. Elastic potential to Combined Potential and Kinetic Energy going up, when it reaches the topmost part and has its sudden stop before dropping is Potential Energy, and while dropping it again acquires Potential and Kinetic Energy. Finally, when it lands and stop moving, its KE and PE are zero and assumes now Rest Energy.
    2. 5 Joules
    3. The boy who is in the escalator will reach the the first floor first and so his PE compared to the boy who took the stair will be more than the PE of the stair boy. however, when he also reached the same height of the escalator boy, both of them would have the same PE by then.

    HOMEWORK:
    Answer 1: (a) Potential energy as there is a change in configuration.
    (b) Potential energy as the ball is on a height.
    (c) Kinetic energy as it is falling
    (d) Potential energy as again it was on a height from the reference (i.e. the table)
    Answer 2 :(500g)(0.001kg)(10m/s^2)(1m)= 5 J
    Answer 3 :Both of them will get the same potential energy on reaching the top
    As potential energy depends on height to which a object reach not the way in
    which it come , if it comes to the same height as of th other one the potential
    energy will be equal of both of them.....

    Good videos! A couple of details:
    1. The gravitational potential energy is not exactly “inside” the hammer.. if we look inside it would be identical to before (elastic energy can be said to be inside the rubber band..looking inside the molecules will be adjusted in various ways). We can imagine some kind of invisible force field between Earth and hammer and so the gravitational energy is stored in this empty space between and nearby.
    2. The work energy done by the force depends on only the relatively small displacements of the projectiles meanwhile the force is acting when in contact with the pushing elastic, and is not related to the large distances moved by the projectiles. Once clear of the pushing elastic no more energy is given to projectile of course.

    a, Elastic potential energy as the spring had the potential to create energy or work.
    b, gravitational potential energy as the ball was at a certain height.
    c, kinetic energy as the ball is in motion.
    d, kinetic energy as again the ball is in motion.
    q2: if i take the value of g to be 9.8 then answer is 4.9 joules = 4.9 j
    q3: According to the situation we know the height is directly proportional to potential energy so greater is the height greater is the potential energy but in this question it is not mentioned weather the stairs are at a greater height or the elevator, usually in a building both the stairs and the elevator are at the same height so we can say that since both have same height both will have same potential energy.

    Thx for the explanation sir! I have a question. Let's say that you lift an object. The potential energy it gets is me giving it energy so I'm losing energy and the object gains it. When I let go for the object it falls down and gives all its energy to to the ground. However if I keep holding it and slowly lower it down the potential energy of the object decreases but where does it go? I slowly lowered it down to the table so it didn't give the table any of it's energy but the object still lost energy. Where did all that energy go? Did I get back the energy I gave to the object?

      1-elastic potential energy,potential energy and kinetic energy.
      2-5J
      3-both have equal potential energy..Because it do not depend on path travelled.

    • @ManochaAcademy

      @Ajay Karki, Very good!! Answers of Q2 and Q3 are correct :)
      For Q1, you need to identify the forms of energy at 4 places: a, b, c and d. Can you give the appropriate form of energy at these 4 points separately.

    • @Ajay-qr2jg
      @Ajay-qr2jg 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A-elastic potential energy.
      B-gravitational potential energy.
      C-Kinetic energy.
      D-Sound energy.

    • @ManochaAcademy
      @ManochaAcademy  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      A and B your answers are correct :)
      At point C, ball has both height and ball is moving. So it is both gravitational potential energy and kinetic energy.
      Point D is just before the ball hits the table. In the video sound comes later. Sound energy is correct answer when ball hits table. Just before ball hits table, ball has only velocity but no height. So at D it is kinetic energy.

    Q1. I think that there is a gravitational energy
    Q2. The potentional energy of the book is 5J cuz if you solve it with the formula its
    PE=mgh
    PE=0,5kg*10m/s2* 1m
    PE=5*kg*m/s2*m
    PE=5*J
    PE=5J

  • @kabirskating3837
    @kabirskating3837 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    In question second mass of book will be changed in to 0.5kg . Then h= 1m
    PE= mgh
    acceleration due to gravity = 10m/s
    = 0.5kg ×1m × 10m/s= 5 juoles.
    Sir you said that work done
    is equals to potential energy stored in the object. Therefore this solution might be correct.
