  • Organized crime in Philadelphia is often overshadowed by underworld intrigues 100 miles up the road in New York, but the City of Brotherly Love has a rich Mob story of its own. At our program on April 25, 2024, a panel of authors, experts and a former underworld racketeer broke down the history of organized crime in Philadelphia, from Angelo Bruno and Phil Testa to Nicky Scarfo and a notorious Irish burglary crew, as well as the city’s deep ties to Atlantic City's underworld. See our list of upcoming programs and events at themobmuseum.org/events.

What's amazing and astonishing is their thinking they're claiming some high moral ground by claiming they never harmed innocent people due to their Invading, burglarizing and robbing people and their homes didn't involve violence smh

It's history and America has always been infatuated by these types of people whether it's billy the kid or Bonnie and Clyde or John Dillinger or al Capone or John Gotti.
