Thanks James, that was just what I needed going into the Centurion SDW100 miler next weekend. I have the same running vest and especially like your use of the long pocket for the rain jacket. All the best
Very organised, and helpful ! You mention contact lenses this is my challenge as I can’t see details close up like maps on my phone when I have my lenses in despite trying varifocal . I revert to glasses 🤓 and then have to wear a cap 🧢 in the rain ☔️.
Yeah I'm lucky in that I can get by with just contact lenses and just about tolerate them in my eyes for 24hrs, but I know a lot of people need to use glasses for these kinds of events and while its not quite as convenient I think the hassle tends to pale into insignificance next to the burden of actually running the distance 😅.
@@runjamesrun I did the NDW 50 and found I needed wind screen wiper blades on my glasses so worried how I would mange a 100 miler in the dark with rain too
Best breakdown i have seen yet

Awesome - good luck with the race!
This is really useful and so well explained and demonstrated. Thanks 👍🏻🏃♂️
I’m really glad it was useful, Mark!
Thats a serious shoehorn you have there :)
Haha yeah - a bit Crocodile Dundee isn't it!
@@runjamesrun love your style
