@@CeaselessEntertainment8468 fr, like i get it Springtrap design is cool and menacing but it didn't mean to arouse or for being simp for. Peepaw Afton is too old for that
I'll always feel bad for the crying child. That kid literally deserved nothing that happened to them. Even in his final moments, there was no peace. Only darkness and promises that probably felt empty to him. On a less depressing note, Springtrap's jumpscare may be mediocre but his design is S-TIER. Magnificent. Beautiful. Horrifying. Love to see it. Except for the part where he harms children. That's a bit yikes. He *always* comes back
I don't know what HorrorBro is talking about when he says the minigames between the nights in 3 is Purple Guy luring the kids. That's decidedly NOT what's happening at all. It's him luring the animatronics themselves to break them apart.
A lot of his explanations are reaches tbh especially stuff like saying that shadow bonnie represents Williams spirit and it's me being a quote from freddy despite golden freddy being the obvious candidate
@@rachadlendar4918shadow freddy is just an easter egg from my perspective. The weird thing about shadow bonnie thoigh is the fact he has a cutout in security breach. And its not one kf those cutouts you flash eith thr camera to get to the room above thr daycare. Uts just a normal poster in rockstar row. Meaning shadow bonnie actually exists and the company knows about him.
You're thinking about why the audio lures work on Springtrap backwards. It's not that the soul inside Spring Trap is trying to find kids to kill. It's the opposite. It's that the animatronic suit is programmed to find kids, so the suit itself automatically leads him towards the sounds.
What? I don’t think it was ever implied that that specific suit was “programmed” in any way, or that it could move on its own. We only see it as a mascot suit and a stage animatronic.
@@lyhenglim6969 Phone Guy tapes say the Springlock suits have both an animatronic mode and a suit mode. In animatronic mode, they behave like the animatronics in FNAF 2, where they're programmed to follow sound to "go where the people are".
HorrorBro's videos are based in the FULL context of the series. So the things about William Afton and Charlotte Emily are based on the full extent of the lore, compared to the Game Theory videos which were made at the time of the games creation.
@@CryosisOfficial The original ones she would be reacting to were literally given almost full confirmation by Scott back in the day. In general the good theories from gt are the FNAF ones
@@Descending. Only one of his theories was ever confirmed by Scott. Most of them were just debunked by the very next game that came out. Despite some people treating his word as gospel, a lot of his stuff is literally just grasping at straws or completely ludicrous such as dream theory which is 100% unequivocally incorrect. When Weeby is trying figure out what's actually going on in terms of the lore, MatPat's videos are not helpful. We watched them at the time because theories were all we had to go on and he happened to be the biggest channel that made them. But now we know much more details and watching his videos would only confuse anyone new to the franchise and lead them to have erronous beliefs about the story.
@@CryosisOfficial But there are some things that MatPat did get right and wrong. It is a theory and speculation with evidence is a part of constructing a theory. Sure, I definitely think he had some mistakes but he did layed the foundations and contributed to the Fnaf lore. I recommend that people should watch multiple theorists however as supposed to only listening to GT. A collab of theorists is honestly more better than a single one.
Spoiler warning This is random but I’ve just realised that “Billy” is what MatPat called the killer in his most recent ultimate timeline. It makes Weeby’s rivalry with balloon boy even funnier
some notes (as spoiler-free as possible): --- FNAF 3: -from what i recall, we don't know if the "former owners of Freddy's" are responsible for Fazbear's Fright -the names "William Afton," "Charlotte Emily," "Henry Emily," etc. did not exist at the time of these games' release. They were names given to characters afterwards, mostly via the 2015-2018 novel trilogy (but later confirmed in the games) -There are two major characters who could most likely be the FNAF 3 night watchman, but as those are considered spoilers, I will not go over said characters until they are properly introduced in the games. -the "Shadow Bonnie minigame = William Afton's spirit" footnote is just a theory, and from what I know, doesn't fully 100% have much ground to stand on. -Technically, Phantom Freddy is a recolored Withered Golden Freddy due to the missing ear. But, since Withered Golden Freddy is a recolor of Withered Freddy, it may as well just be that Phantom Freddy is a slightly-more-damaged Withered Freddy -The screens of Springtrap opening up his mask to reveal his face are rare screens that have a small chance of showing up when booting up FNAF 3. -The Puppet's Mask in the hallway is not a rare screen. That's the default look of the camera. --- FNAF 4: -It's not clear whether "Fredbear and Friends" is a TV show or just a commercial for Fredbear's Family Diner itself. Regardless, it's got 1983 on it, and that's the part that matters. -The distorted Phone Guy call is general ambience for the night section. From what I remember, it's relatively quiet. A heavily pitch-adjusted, reversed, and (again) overall distorted edit to the first ever call from Phone Guy. -Ah yes, The Box. To get this Box, you must beat Night 8, or "20202020" mode. To get to Night 8, you need to beat Night 7 and type 20202020 on the Extras screen. This Box can not be opened, and even now we don't know what's inside of it. -The name "Elizabeth" comes from FNAF 6/Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, to refer to a character introduced in FNAF Sister Location. When FNAF 4 released, the concept of an "Elizabeth" was nonexistent.
Other clues that confirm Jeremy as the victim of the Bite of ‘87 is that Phone Guy mentions how the Toy Animatronics’ facial recognition has been tampered with. (This could’ve either been William Afton doing it himself so as to keep the Toy Animatronics off his back, or it could’ve been the Puppet as it’s the one who tampered with the withered animatronics by placing the kids’ souls inside them.) The Toy Animatronics at this point were already said to treat the children just fine and show no aggression towards any of them, but whenever an adult enters the room (more specifically a Staff Member) they get more aggressive towards the adults. This is proof that the victim was in fact NOT a child but an adult, and more specifically, an adult who worked at the restaurant, just like Jeremey. Also Phone Guy makes mention of Fred Bear’s Family Diner and how it’s been closed down for years, cementing more proof that FNAF 4 does take place in the year 1983 and not ‘87.
remember, nothing is wrong about making theories or even the past theories, its a good thing to see all of it again to see how the story changed and progressed when a new game is added to the lore
scott did try to retcon or extend and change some meaning behind his games. when fnaf4 was thought to be the last, the solid theory was that fnaf 1-3 are all on the crying kid's head that you play as in fnaf.
it is really interesting to see the developpement 😊, the fact that some *ssholes bully ppls for making theories really piss me off !!! like, do they know the meaning of that word ? it's like they've never opened a dictionary in their lives
@@ferreiraisabel1655 hahah i know right! And one thing is that i love matpat and game theory but it should not be the basis of what is fact and confirmed. In the end its all a theory until scott makes a statement otherwise.
@@lonelyguy5799 And then Silver Eyes trilogy and year later Sister Location continued with Pizzeria Simulator went from the nightmare story of FNAF4 into the real events within the universe among family dynamics. And then Help Wanted arrived and may or may not retconned everything into fiction so the ghost story ended and artificial inteligence story started.
The reason Mangle is like that is because, according to Phone Guy in FNAF 2, the kids got to rowdy with Mangle and broke it into pieces. Eventually, they left it as a "take apart, put back together" attraction, adding extra pieces so kids could make it into a big whirlwind of parts, hence rhe nickname "The Mangle." Interestingly enough, in one of the FNAF 2 minigames, the Mangle sprite is listed as "he was here," implying that Afton did something to Mangle
Most of the time people getting into fnaf in recent years will typically just find out about the lore through all encompassing timeline videos and stuff but it’s actually really fun to see someone react to the lore one game at a time (seeing weeby try to piece everything together in real time is kinda hilarious I’m ngl) I can’t wait to see her reaction to all the lore drops in sister location
Iam also can't awaitto see Webby reaction to the stories and great lore in the 3 main book series (Charlie's Trilogy, Fazbear Frights and Tales From The Pizzaplex) and the 3 books that are more lore related (The Freddy Files, Survival LoogBook and the FNaF Encyclopedia) I don't know how she would do it, if she read them herself or see summaries on TH-cam but honestly I just hope she reacts to them since they really all help a lot to understand the lore and they are also interesting stories to watch
The Happiest Day minigame is not representing the children getting killed but rather being freed from the suits, that's why the masks fall down symbolizing them leaving the suits and the balloons rising symbolizes them going to the afterlife. This is why the Good Ending has the lights in the masks turned off, showing that they're not haunted anymore while the Bad Ending has their lights on showing that they are forever haunted. I personally don't like SuperHorrorBroMike because he gets some stuff wrong and spoils things you're not supposed to know yet, like William Afton's name and Charlotte's name and that image of her, which is from fnaf 6.
If I recall first reactions were hype because of the teasers showing him off. Though after his jump scare got revealed a lot of people were unhappy with it. This was increased with the game it was a decently popular opinion that number 3 was the worse in the original trilogy. Personally he was is and still is my favorite animatronic in the whole series but I recall things being pretty mixed.
It’s so fun to see you getting hyped about the franchise!! FNaF: Sister Location is one of my favorites, so I’m excited for when you eventually get there. I’d like to let you know that that game doesn’t have necessarily consistent gameplay. It’s a REAL departure from the feel of the rest of the games beforehand, both theming/story and gameplay wise. It’s definitely a fan favorite, though. You’ll have a blast!
@@lckyminer_2256FNAF WORLD is more as a teaser of what comes next (Sister Location, Help Wanted) while UCN is the epilogue of the ghost story from first 6 main games.
I love how your brain works! Some stuff you guess perfectly and others are completely off, but no matter what it is, you always have such a great knack for finding connections and details! It's amazing!
really cool seeing you piece things together at the end. considering how much theorizing went into this series over the years, not something I expected to see anymore with so much figured out
First off, shout out to the mods for that Fnaf 4 document. I don't know what all the videos were like about that game but I know it's one that is heavily debated to this day so it's kind of unfortunate that you get a lot of theories and stuff mixed in. Mod document was actually an excellent recap of everything! I'm actually really looking forward to seeing you check out Sister Location. I feel like that game was where the franchise really stepped things up in terms of presentation and humor.
There are actually two interpretations of FNaF 4 that's still kind of unclear. It could be the Crying Child's comatose dream, yes. But some say it's actually the nightmares of his older brother. There's evidence for both in the game, though I can't say the evidence for the older brother
Yeah, I wanted to point that out but then realized it would be spoilers, lol. I'm more in the camp of the older brother being the protagonist of FNAF 4, since the Crying Child seems to be in a coma & couldn't have seen the IV bag or the pills. Now that I think about it, how could a person in comatose even take pills? (Maybe it was the older bro taking meds after becoming an adult? Trying very hard not to spoil too much, lol. But that's what's on my mind at the moment.) Then of course there's that drawing in red ink in the Survival Logbook, but that's all I can say without spoiling. (Also, the alarm clock is on top of a very tall drawer, which a little kid probably can't even reach at that height without climbing on something.)
@@WWTWWWell the dresser being so tall could simply be because it’s a dream. It’s not like there’s a similar dresser or room in the house. And personally the logbook thing is so stupid it barely feels like a hint.
Something that I don't think Weeby Newz or the FNAF 3 lore video established is that the Springtrap/Spring Bonnie suit is programmed to turn and walk towards sound cues, i.e. Balloon Boys Audio sounds which you play from the monitor. I think it was mentioned by Scott, aka the phone guys, on the recorded tapes from either night 2 or night 3.
As someone pointed out, Superhorrorbro used more general knowledge as of 2021, but at the time of FNAF 3, we didn't have a name for the Puppet soul or even Purple Guy. The low pitched letters in Take Cake spell out SAVE HIM.
Excited for Sister location playthrough, Hope you enjoy it and it's story. Sister Location was the real Turning Point for Fnaf. Theories go crazy, canon goes crazy, Lets go.
I'm surprised she's getting a lot of current working theories (or few of the confirmed lore) almost on the nose yet slightly off in distinct ways (wont say which ones and how because spoilers). Some is shockingly close for someone missing huge clues in the lore!
I'm impressed by how intelligent you are, you figured out SO MUCH LORE on your own with very small clues! (I won't say which bits of lore you figured out tho)
There is one other theory for the playable character of FNaF4 in the main gameplay sections: the older brother... The distorted phone calls being the main evidence, though everything else fits in still with him as the playable character: -The fact he hears the phone calls implies he's heard them before... The Crying Child would have never heard them as a child couldn't work at the FNaF1 location. Since he was bitten in 1983 / would have been stuck in the hospital and probably died not long after, while those calls were after 1987, he likely wouldn't be around for it by that point. Who do we know that worked at the FNaF1 location? Phone Guy himself and Mike Schmidt... -The Crying Child's in a coma, right? So how's he seeing the IV and Flowers... He isn't. They're appearing there as a lingering part of the older brother's regret of killing the Crying Child, a lingering reminder of where he last saw his brother... -The Animatronics: they're all the Crying Child's friends attacking him in his nightmares, ending with the one that had killed his brother in an accident. The Black Fredbear you didn't see in the gameplay is "Nightmare", a character that only appears in Nightmare Mode in the non-Halloween version (Nightmarionne (the Nightmare Puppet) replaces them in the Halloween Edition) but one detail that stands out about him is the fact that his head is see through and a brain can be seen there. If you think about it, the entire game could symbolise the brother overcoming his regrets and moving on, with Nightmare as an embodiment of those regrets. Of course, this is just using evidence from FNaF4... Aside from games and teasers, the books are also a good source for evidence (even if the original book trilogy are set in another timeline from the games, some parts carry over, including the name "William Afton") and one of them does reveal the identity of the one in the FNaF4 gameplay.
She got spoiled with Charlie's and Elizabeth's name, oh well but i guess the confusion with Charlie being mentioned all of the sudden as puppet is understandable since she was originally a character in the books and wasn't brought much later in the games, its even presumed to be the case that she originally wasnt even made to be puppet, so i get why you were confused, but eventually you'll learn more about her i think she's pretty neat Personally i know a lot of fnaf fans won't agree with me, but i DO recommend checking out the FNAF trilogy of books, but only once you know the game lore so you wont get confused because game lore and book lore although sharing similar character personalities and depictions, the books are a different timeline and events and characters that dont exist in the games, but all i could say from the books is that if you wanna know more of Charlie you might check those And i can't wait for sister location, its my favorite game in the franchise and it has my favorite character of all the games so i reslly im hoping youll love it too, i think you will like it a lot, specifically since you seem really interested with the lore and the characters. Fnaf 4 is definitely one of my favorites and i think it is good lore wise so seeing you so hyped and inmersed into the story of fnaf 4 was fun and im glad the whole bite of 87 and bite of 83 was cleared up, i think you weren't wrong to assume it was the bite of 87 because it probably used to be or at least the bite of 87 in the past was made up to be this big event that never was and probably it was a result of the lore being modified as the games dropped. Just remember to always take fnaf lore with a grain of salt mostly because things that were hinted to be a certain way in the first games, but turned out differently on other games later on its because the old lore was different, and characters who now are remembered to be a certain way or are considered super lore important were not even a thing in the first game, i say this mostly because how you have chosen to look into the lore differently, going slowly some things that made sense in the old lore don't now like the theory video of purple guy being phone guy it is really probable that was the case back then, but scott changed it, just saying things weren't planned since the beginning and a lot of things were either recontextualized or just literally changed or replaced, so just make your own theories and take your time investing in the lore, i recommend this way too because that way you can make your own character opinions instead of watching a full timeline that has the personal opinions of the theorist in the video, is better to dlowly uncover it and form your own theories and opinions
“I’m never going to look at the color purple the same way ever again. Oh my god that color is just like cursed to me now” Weeby says while sitting in a purple chair lol
"Who is the player of fnaf 4" is such a weird question because canonically its multiple people, it definitely is from the perspective of the crying child in the game, but there are also seperate experimentations that William Afton did to kids he kidnapped and made them hallucinate with Hallucinogenic gas, and the most likely answer for the definiative person we play as is Mike, because in his survival notebook he draws Nightmare Fredbear when asked "What are your recent dreams?" And the toy phone plays Fnaf 1 calls backwards. Its implied that crying child is haunting his brother Mike, and using his guilt to make him experience the torment he experienced.
I love watching you learn the lore so naturally, as well as making your own theories - love 'em! SO excited for Sister Location, the lore will probably melt your brain :D
The Crying Child’s tears did NOT set off the spring-locks inside Fred Bear’s mouth. He was already in animatronic mode! That’s why he’s up on the stage performing. That’s why he didn’t simply stop the kid from being shoved into his mouth. That’s why you can’t see anybody wearing the suit like you can the other times before. It wasn’t the spring-lock mechanisms going off from his tears. It was just a simple motion of his animatronic mouth that needed to close.
"Nono, Weeby it's not the bite of '87. It's the head head crush of '83. God how could you confuse the 2!?" It's like the lore is confusing and convoluted. Lol. In all fairness, minus the '83 on the tv commercial for "Fazbear and Friends" it was still a debate at the time if it was '83 or '87 where the game takes place. It's actually kinda fun and weirdly refreshing to see someone go through the series for the first time and learn how fun and awkwardly confusing the fnaf story is
In a Q&A years ago, Scott confirmed that two pieces of information from the earlier games were retconned in later games, but wouldn't say exactly what. I believe that the retcons are, one, changing the order of the children's deaths and who was in which animatronic and, two, changing the bite of '87 to the bite of '83
Aaa! Super stoked after watching this and seeing your theories!!! Also we hope you guys liked the FNAF 4 Document! We based the document off of the “general consensus” or “majority theory” that the FNAF fanbase had come up with thus far, while allowing Weeby to enjoy the game’s lore and figure out stuff on her own!!! This is also to help prepare Weeby for the “Ultimate Timeline” videos, as many other TH-camrs had reacted to it in the FNAF fanbase. We hope y’all are having fun on her lore journey too! In case there were any other theories out there, no matter how outdated they were or just for fun, we can of course send them over to Weeby as long as they ain’t spoilers! Again thank you guys so much!

Hoping she can at least see Matpat's FNAF 5 Decoded video, so she can at least get a perspective on what went on pre Sister Location, FNAF World and the novel.
@@vincentmorris8431 We’ll send over any vids that can help piece out the lore, but also are up to date with the most current theories/story based off of the majority that the fandom says! So, we’re keeping in all the comments in mind! The FNAF lore is huge, so we’re of course doing it one by one so it’s easier for Weeby as well as going to be revealing theories as she gets through each game personally to her. Weeby is also going to be checking out FNAF World later on, she even confirmed this in one of her previous livestreams, that she’d prefer to check out the spin-offs later down the road! So Sister Location is next on her bucket list when she is ready for it! :)
It's crazy to see you piece together the lore. I won't spoil where you're getting close and where you might be being pulled away, but it's exciting either way. Everyone has their own way of interpreting the events, so I'm all for you taking what the games directly provide and piecing it from there. Big fan of the mod's document for being concise without going too far into theories.
the whole charlotte thing is from the books by the way (specifically, the original trillogy: The silver eyes, The twisted ones and The fourth closet). Where it is revealed that Henry, founder of Fredbear's family diner, had a 3 year old daughter named Charlie, who was kidnapped by a man in a Spring bonnie suit and killed in the back alley of the pizzeria. The murderer was ofc co-founder and presumed friend of Henry: William Afton. The books do exist in a different canon from the games, but they two universes share a lot of similarities. And people were able to figure out (with the help of the "Take cake to the children" minigame of fnaf 2, and two more minigames of FFPS (fnaf 6)) that in the game universe, Assumed-to-be-Charlie somehow got locked outside of the building (içnstead of being kidnapped) and was then murdered by William. After which her spirit fused with The puppet, resulting in the possession of the animatronics. The books (Fazbear Fright books to be clear, specifically the story "What we found", originating from Fazbear frights #8) also imply that we possibly know the itendaty of the fnaf 3 secuirity gaurd. Namely the idea that we play as the child of whomever is in Springtrap. And as this is William Afton, this would mean we play as one of his children.
If it makes you feel better Weeby, the SpringBonnie suit is attracted to the sound of children. So William is just like: OH YEA KIDS! he’s just dragged along…..
To answer your question about the "black freddy" (also known as Nightmare) he only appears in Nightmare mode (night 7) and the secret 20/20 mode (night 8), during your playthrough you *did* encounter him, however since you were playing the Halloween Edition he was replaced by the Nightmare Puppet (also known as the Nightmarionne)
This is a heavy reminder to people that FNAF is not some children’s goofy horror game. The lore of these games is dark af and gruesome as hell! And the deeper you go the more gruesome they get.
It should be restated, that William Afton’s murders happened in the 1980s, yet that hidden text that was mentioned around 2:08 said “30 Years Later”. It’s theorized Afton was trapped inside the Golden Spring Bonnie suit only a short while after the murders, but then got stuck inside the suit to rot and decay for 30 YEARS, and that the safe room he died in was sealed off from those 30 years, only recently having been excavated by the time of Fazbear’s Fright. Locked in a room, bleeding out in agonizing pain, crossbeams and wires having gone through every part of your body, no food, water, fresh oxygen, or light for 30 years…and yet Afton’s malice somehow kept him going well past his expiration. It’s a pitiful state, but one that he deserves for killing all those poor kids. I know that it’s just a fictional story, but of me didn’t buy this at first, until I realized if I’m willing to buy Nagito somehow got Junko’s left arm attached (though not working necessarily), I guess the circuits in the suit reanimated Afton’s decaying corpse. So remember, if you’re going through some trying pain, just ask yourself, “what would William Afton do?”, cuz by the point he was bones and scrap metal, he kept going~
Contrary to the teaser, there was no black bear with a purple bow tie; on Night 5 you get Fredbear, golden with purple, and on Night 7 is a black translucent reskin in a yellow hat and tie simply just dubbed Nightmare. However you did Halloween edition where he's swapped out with the Puppet.
This reminds me of something interesting. FNAF 3 takes place this year, the new movie is finally coming out this year and we see William as both his human self and Springtrap in the trailer 🤔 I wonder if the movie will cover both the origin with the human Afton bits and then Mike’s journey to FNAF 3. I bet it’ll be followed by Sister Location/FFPS stuff in a sequel unless the Freddy running around with the little kid in the movie…turns out to be Mikes fate towards the end of the movie…which gives off Security Breach vibes a bit lol.
Pretty cool you watch other theorist besides Matpat! Because like everyone said Matpat theory(besides it was pretty accurate at the time) is outdated and no longer so valid now. If you interested in Scott teasers and how the franchise get bigger from beginning to now you can watch Fuhnaff video 'The history of FNaF'. That video also didn't spoiler any lore so it was safe for you to watch. Very detailed video about FNaF and this franchise, make me as a new fans more in love with FNaF💙 Edit : it's so fitting to our world that the first game when Scott show Springtrap/Springbonnie was at year 2023. And now we see Springtrap/Springbonnie in FNaF movie trailer, 2023. (sorry bad English)
I feel like it's more fitting to watch theories actually made around when the games in question were released, since not only do they not spoil anything about the next games, they are also way more representative of what was known and assumed back then
There have been many times when scott wanted to end the series, but always had some reason to continue. After fnaf 3 people enjoyed the story but were left disappointed by the lack of horror(the jumpscares) and gameplay. So scott continued with fnaf 4, and people enjoyed the horror but disliked the vague story, which leads to sister location.
Fnaf 3 takes place in 2015, when they said "30 years after freddy's shut it's doors" they never specified which location. We do know that the fnaf 1 location was the least popular as it got closed down due to low attendance. So I'm assuming they meant the very first freddy's location which closed in 1985 meaning the game would take place in 2015 the year of the game's release which makes way more sense.
While yes, William would love to unalive more kids, the lure of Balloon Boy's voice is actually infinitely more disturbing. The suit, being in animatronic mode, follows the sound of children through it's programming. William is being dragged along against his will as the robot endoskeleton intertwined with his corpse grinds against and jabs his decaying flesh and bones every time Springbonnie moves towards the sound of children. And to think that protocol of the Pizzeria for a springlock failure is to try and make it to the safe rooms to avoid ruining the customer experience, yet the suit would automatically mobe towards the laughs of the unaware kids and the screams of the ones who notice it happening. A horrific torture device of a suit. Literally no good things could have ever come from this OSHA violation of a design.
I remember being disturbed seeing Spring Trap. Especially with that picture of Afton trying to remove his mask and all you see is a horribly burnt skull.
tbh, Fnaf 1 was supposed to be the only game, a last ditch effort made by Scott bc people called his previous games too scary, so he made one intentionally scary game. When it got popular, he decided to make it a trilogy, with the third game being the end. Then ofc 4 came out, which was supposed to be the actual end. Then came Fnaf World, "the last game" in the frenchise. Then Sister location, which also was supposed to be "the end". Then came FFPS and UCN, which were "the official end". Then came Help Wanted, Special delivery, Secuirity Breach, Ruin and now, upcoming Help Wanted 2. So this series has 6 enteries which were all referred to as "the last game" at one point or another.
Note: the theories on fnaf 4 being a comatose nightmare have been debunked nowadays as the Tales from the Pizzaplex story Dittophobia reveals they're human experiments (obviously by a certain purple psycho) done on Michael and/or CC as well as most likely on other kids
So glad you're figuring out the lore !! And I know this won't be for awhile but please if you end up watching an ultimate timeline when you finish the games, please watch Wendigoon's. MatPat's is decent but its very controversial among the fandom and it was quite confusing for me, however Wendigoon explains it nicely in my opinion. edit: however he does not talk about anything past pizza sim so you'll have to find something else for those games
Which MatPat theory are you talking about because the one that's controversial covers everything up to ruin. (And also definitely shouldn't be watched because how much is just blatantly wrong in the last 2 parts)
The numbers in the Chica mini game in the hallway are important to an ending in fnaf world they are needed for a mini game that is needed to get it completed for the clock ending
14:56 Personally it feels as if the AI from the suit being programmed to go to entertain children if none are found and Aftons desire to kill the new night guard, i think it’s a better idea than him being tricked 7 nights in a row
It is more likely that Purple Guy's body was peered with an endoskeleton of an animatronic, and it's actually the robotic part of Springtrap that forces him to walk to the sound of children. His body disobeys him, because the animatronic part of him is forced to walk towards where the party is going on.
The child you play in FAnF 4 is the son of Wiliam Afton or also known as Purple Guy and is also one of the two owners of Feddy's and the Purple Guy is also the murderer
12:20 I think one of the prevailing theories as to why Springtrap gets duped by the Ballon Boy calls, is that because the springlocks failed and basically reconstructed the Spring Bonnie endoskeleton around and through Afton’s body, Springtrap is essentially a malfunctioning animatronic possessed by William, but still also running on some of its original programming. Thus, the only times ol’ Willy-Billy can freely move is when the animatronics programming isn’t engaged, and since the animatronics have been programmed to move towards the sound of children, every time you use BB’s audio, you force the animatronic system in Springtrap to move him into whatever room you chose.
Hi Weeby! It's been fun watching you learn all the lore of the games and slowly beginning to put the pieces together! Before going into Sister Location, I would recommend watching MatPat's theory video: "Game Theory: FNAF, The Clue that SOLVES Five Nights at Freddy's!". The video only talks about Fnaf 1-4 and doesn't contain any spoilers for any other game after it. I think you would really enjoy it since it ties everything from the first 4 games really neatly into a theory that really fits the lore at the time and makes a lot of sense. It's not really a timeline video, but more of an alternate explanation of the franchise. It also contains a lot of cool details about Scott and what he most likely intended for the series before the turning point of Sister location and beyond. Anyway that is my recommendation, can't wait to see you continue to play through more of the series!
While the puppet's name isn't confirmed in any of the games(her name Charlie is in the books) it is confirmed who she's connected to in Pizza Simulator's true ending.(The game is also where her image with the green wrist band is from) Probably still doesn't explain who the person she's connected to is without context though. Still funny his last name is Emily.
FUN FACT when you can see purple guy putting someone Inside the spring bonnie suit you can walk next to him, when you're next to the purple guy the crying child stops crying
The little thing on mangle's shoulder, is actually her Endoskeleton ripped out of her head (either that or another endoskeleton that got mixed with her body)
Imo you should react to part 1 of the timeline after playing sister location since the part 1 mainly focuses an explanation about the first 5, great reaction btw ❤
I love seeing Weeby react to the series how is fans have reacted to it over the years cause she is expecting it how we did. It’s adorable to see her process everything that happened over the games and it really brings me back. I’m just worried if she gets into the books cause her brain will become mush but still love her reaction to the series
Good job having a proper spreadsheet for FNAF 4. The lore became super complex and uncertain with that game and imo derailed the otherwise straightforward story of the previous games.
If you don't plan to react to the FNAF 3 & 4 Game Theories (unless you choose to after playing more games to see how perspective has evolved), here's what he thought: He felt more evidence that Purple Guy could be Phone Guy - in addition to the stuff from his FNAF 2 video, Phone Guy knew about the safe rooms, and in his rush into the suit forgot about a leaky ceiling that would moisten the spring locks. Though most have acknowledged his death heard in FNAF 1. Also the spirits disappearing in Happiest Day is less so staying trapped and more like them finally moving on and getting peace. Matpat then saying the story was over with no 4th installment... only to crouch in the closet bemoaning over the FNAF 4 teaser. XD
For FNAF 4, Matpat confidently said the Crying Child suffering the bite of 87 was impossible as those who lost frontal lobes don't process fear. And... he wasn't wrong as we get the date 1983 on the TV. Weirdly it seems the source code shifted from 87 to 82 to 83. As for the lore importance, Matpat considered this kid may've become the Puppet - similar kneel, stripes and tears. As for fear, it might not be the Fazbear characters as he calls the plushies his friends. It seems more directed at the yellow suits... maybe he saw someone stuffed in there (looks to be hair in the Fredbear suit in the parts storage room. Perhaps its spirit is the voice out of the Fredbear plush, or as Matpat calls him, Psychic Friend Fredbear. Matpat admitted there was also potential for Crying Child to be Golden Freddy... In a livestream discussing FNAF 4, Scott updated his site with 3 clues, leading to the insanity of the idea these 4 games were just a dream of the Crying Child. Also the box won't be opened. Fortunately, there are some bits that don't fit Dream Theory, as he tried piecing up a timeline. Another crucial detail is the font color for "I will put you back together" is slightly different than before. The novel was even stated to be a separate timeline with how dense the lore got.
Sometimes when you get invested in a series you forgot just how gruesome some things are like the spring lock failure.
remember, springlocks are found all throughout the spring suit which means Afton's nuts got cracked by the locks during the failure

Weeby's chair: 👁️👄👁️
I don't know what HorrorBro is talking about when he says the minigames between the nights in 3 is Purple Guy luring the kids. That's decidedly NOT what's happening at all. It's him luring the animatronics themselves to break them apart.
A lot of his explanations are reaches tbh especially stuff like saying that shadow bonnie represents Williams spirit and it's me being a quote from freddy despite golden freddy being the obvious candidate
@@rachadlendar4918 TBH, the shadow animatronics are quite confusing for a lore stand point.
@@lckyminer_2256 I always assumed they where either the spirits or the remnants of the previous employees that originally got springlocked
I guess technically he is still luring the kids… just not exactly in the way that sounds.
You're thinking about why the audio lures work on Springtrap backwards. It's not that the soul inside Spring Trap is trying to find kids to kill. It's the opposite. It's that the animatronic suit is programmed to find kids, so the suit itself automatically leads him towards the sounds.
Will knows theres no kids and he wants to get to the guard, but the suit doesn’t let him, must be very frustrating
@@pigeonmanepicYeah like he’s on his merry jolly way, and then “hi!” “OH GOD DAMN IT”
The irony, I hope he Really hates it.
I'd argue itd be better for her to stick to the gt videos
@@Descending. It's really not. Since most of them are wrong and just wild speculation.
57:28 Weeby's gone full theorist. She is truly one of us now.
Spoiler warning
This is random but I’ve just realised that “Billy” is what MatPat called the killer in his most recent ultimate timeline. It makes Weeby’s rivalry with balloon boy even funnier
some notes (as spoiler-free as possible):
---
FNAF 3:
-from what i recall, we don't know if the "former owners of Freddy's" are responsible for Fazbear's Fright
-the names "William Afton," "Charlotte Emily," "Henry Emily," etc. did not exist at the time of these games' release. They were names given to characters afterwards, mostly via the 2015-2018 novel trilogy (but later confirmed in the games)
-There are two major characters who could most likely be the FNAF 3 night watchman, but as those are considered spoilers, I will not go over said characters until they are properly introduced in the games.
-the "Shadow Bonnie minigame = William Afton's spirit" footnote is just a theory, and from what I know, doesn't fully 100% have much ground to stand on.
-Technically, Phantom Freddy is a recolored Withered Golden Freddy due to the missing ear. But, since Withered Golden Freddy is a recolor of Withered Freddy, it may as well just be that Phantom Freddy is a slightly-more-damaged Withered Freddy
-The screens of Springtrap opening up his mask to reveal his face are rare screens that have a small chance of showing up when booting up FNAF 3.
-The Puppet's Mask in the hallway is not a rare screen. That's the default look of the camera.
---
FNAF 4:
-It's not clear whether "Fredbear and Friends" is a TV show or just a commercial for Fredbear's Family Diner itself.
Weeby going through the average FNAF fan experience at the end was peak entertainment
remember, nothing is wrong about making theories or even the past theories, its a good thing to see all of it again to see how the story changed and progressed when a new game is added to the lore
scott did try to retcon or extend and change some meaning behind his games. when fnaf4 was thought to be the last, the solid theory was that fnaf 1-3 are all on the crying kid's head that you play as in fnaf.
it is really interesting to see the developpement 😊, the fact that some *ssholes bully ppls for making theories really piss me off !!! like, do they know the meaning of that word ? it's like they've never opened a dictionary in their lives
@@ferreiraisabel1655 hahah i know right! And one thing is that i love matpat and game theory but it should not be the basis of what is fact and confirmed. In the end its all a theory until scott makes a statement otherwise.
@@lonelyguy5799 exactly 😁 !
Eventually, they left it as a "take apart, put back together" attraction, adding extra pieces so kids could make it into a big whirlwind of parts, hence rhe nickname "The Mangle."
Interestingly enough, in one of the FNAF 2 minigames, the Mangle sprite is listed as "he was here," implying that Afton did something to Mangle
The Mangle sprite is in the same room as a dead child's body, so I think the second set of murders is what it's referring to
Most of the time people getting into fnaf in recent years will typically just find out about the lore through all encompassing timeline videos and stuff but it’s actually really fun to see someone react to the lore one game at a time (seeing weeby try to piece everything together in real time is kinda hilarious I’m ngl)
I can’t wait to see her reaction to all the lore drops in sister location
Iam also can't awaitto see Webby reaction to the stories and great lore in the 3 main book series (Charlie's Trilogy, Fazbear Frights and Tales From The Pizzaplex) and the 3 books that are more lore related (The Freddy Files, Survival LoogBook and the FNaF Encyclopedia)
I don't know how she would do it, if she read them herself or see summaries on TH-cam but honestly I just hope she reacts to them since they really all help a lot to understand the lore and they are also interesting stories to watch
I personally don't like SuperHorrorBroMike because he gets some stuff wrong and spoils things you're not supposed to know yet, like William Afton's name and Charlotte's name and that image of her, which is from fnaf 6.

really cool seeing you piece things together at the end. considering how much theorizing went into this series over the years, not something I expected to see anymore with so much figured out
Can not WAIT until you get to Sister Location ! Honestly every game past FNaF 4 is just *stuffed* with lore I think you will have such a good time
First off, shout out to the mods for that Fnaf 4 document.
I love how most hardcore fnaf fans love Springtrap and constantly meme on him while new fans absolutely DESPISE him lol. You get him Weeby!
*Attention,* before Sister Location, there was both a novel called Silver Eyes, and a cutesy spinoff called FNAF World.
Yeah I'm excited to see her thoughts.
Weeby: But that's just a theory.
Me: A game theory.
Weeby: A game theory.
Me: Called it.
There is one other theory for the playable character of FNaF4 in the main gameplay sections: the older brother... The distorted phone calls being the main evidence, though everything else fits in still with him as the playable character:
-The fact he hears the phone calls implies he's heard them before...
I think once you've played some more of the games you should check out the scott interview. It explains alot about each game up until ucn.
Something that the FNAF 3 video got wrong was that Fazbear frights was not made by the former owners of Freddy Fazbear's
weeby losing it over "im still here" is the content im subscribed for
Now you can watch fnaf the musical without being confused! Its a great video for new fans by random encounters
I love the doc your mods made, they work a lot better than watching videos that are intended for people that have played the WHOLE franchise
She got spoiled with Charlie's and Elizabeth's name, oh well but i guess the confusion with Charlie being mentioned all of the sudden as puppet is understandable since she was originally a character in the books and wasn't brought much later in the games, its even presumed to be the case that she originally wasnt even made to be puppet, so i get why you were confused, but eventually you'll learn more about her i think she's pretty neat
Personally i know a lot of fnaf fans won't agree with me, but i DO recommend checking out the FNAF trilogy of books, but only once you know the game lore so you wont get confused because game lore and book lore although sharing similar character personalities and depictions, the books are a different timeline and events and characters that dont exist in the games, but all i could say from the books is that if you wanna know more of Charlie you might check those
And i can't wait for sister location, its my favorite game in the franchise and it has my favorite character of all the games so i reslly im hoping youll love it too, i think you will like it a lot, specifically since you seem really interested with the lore and the characters.

"purple guy is such a freaking cockroach"
thats is the most perfect description of william afton ive ever heard
the whole charlotte thing is from the books by the way (specifically, the original trillogy: The silver eyes, The twisted ones and The fourth closet).
*”I'm kind of curios what the fandom’s reaction was”*
It was crazy, I remember seeing theories about it being a mixed of chicka,Bonnie and Freddy
FYI, some of the names are not taken from the actual games, but they first appeared in the serialized books Scott made
If it makes you feel better Weeby, the SpringBonnie suit is attracted to the sound of children.
Well... it hasn't been a week and now FNAF4 lore part aged terribly.
However you did Halloween edition where he's swapped out with the Puppet.
interesting how it's a "fusion" of those 2 bears 🤔😁
@@ferreiraisabel1655 I think its just Nightmare Fredbear but with the yellow greyed to not spoil that golden Freddy is in fact Fredbear in some form.
@@--CHARLIE-- maybe 🤔
This reminds me of something interesting. FNAF 3 takes place this year, the new movie is finally coming out this year and we see William as both his human self and Springtrap in the trailer 🤔
I wonder if the movie will cover both the origin with the human Afton bits and then Mike’s journey to FNAF 3.
Very detailed video about FNaF and this franchise, make me as a new fans more in love with FNaF💙
Edit : it's so fitting to our world that the first game when Scott show Springtrap/Springbonnie was at year 2023. And now we see Springtrap/Springbonnie in FNaF movie trailer, 2023.
(sorry bad English)
I feel like it's more fitting to watch theories actually made around when the games in question were released, since not only do they not spoil anything about the next games, they are also way more representative of what was known and assumed back then
@@arcturus0379 oh yeah i like it too thay Weeby is not rushing things and actually want to engaged with FNaf, i hope she didn't get too confused haha
I'd much rather she see outdated information (which she actually should be seeing) than spoilers.
So… that image of Charlie/Charlotte is actually from FNAF 6. But I will say this that you have seen Charlie once before, but in a previous FNAF game.
AND HER WE GO!!!!
TIME FOR THE LORE TO TAKE SOOOOOOO MANY TWISTS AND TURNS!!!!!
58:17 Yes exactly this
And also yes to 58:18 as that's why his first murder is Charlie Emily
Those numbers are actually a code you input through a 3x3 of wall tiles in the office. (Crazy, I know)
Fnaf 3 takes place in 2015, when they said "30 years after freddy's shut it's doors" they never specified which location.
1 year late but it’s okay, you can say the word kill.
@@3DFella Fair enough. This landscape of TH-cam is truly annoying though. Also, unalive is a funny word tbh.
1:40 I strongly recommend you react to a video talking about fnaf teasers over the years. Scott was a master of it lol
Wendigoon's has problems too tbh.
"I wonder if we'll learn more about him and his life after this"
Well i have some good news for you, Weeby 😈
The numbers in the Chica mini game in the hallway are important to an ending in fnaf world they are needed for a mini game that is needed to get it completed for the clock ending
14:56
Personally it feels as if the AI from the suit being programmed to go to entertain children if none are found and Aftons desire to kill the new night guard, i think it’s a better idea than him being tricked 7 nights in a row
44:55 This is "The Thing He should NOT have seen" that he saw again Edit: 47:14 No he is the owner and he does make the suits yes
18:42 This is what The Living Tombstone's music video is about
Weeby: did Purple guy put a voice recorder in the Fredbear’s plush?
…
🤯
I loved the document your mod team made. It explained the lore really well!
I also loved how you lost your mind at the end while theorising, hahaha
She is so good at predicting the outcomes.
Weeby you are right that crying child is William Afton son and the crying child big brother is Michael Afton ❤
While the puppet's name isn't confirmed in any of the games(her name Charlie is in the books) it is confirmed who she's connected to in Pizza Simulator's true ending.(The game is also where her image with the green wrist band is from)
Probably still doesn't explain who the person she's connected to is without context though. Still funny his last name is Emily.
FUN FACT
when you can see purple guy putting someone Inside the spring bonnie suit you can walk next to him, when you're next to the purple guy the crying child stops crying
As a person named Charlotte, hearing Weeby say “I wanna know more about Charlotte” was trippy
I wonder if Freddy and Monokuma would be friends 🐻🐻❄
Honestly as annoying as the lore is (TWO BITES???) it is refreshing to go through it again, especially with someone who’s doing it blind.
Silly Weeby you saw who put the boy in the animatronic in the bite of not 87 🙂
The little thing on mangle's shoulder, is actually her Endoskeleton ripped out of her head (either that or another endoskeleton that got mixed with her body)
Sometimes the puppet in full body in the hallway of fnaf 3
55:40
"Noooo. I hate it here"
Crying child: "YOU hate it here?"
If you don't plan to react to the FNAF 3 & 4 Game Theories (unless you choose to after playing more games to see how perspective has evolved), here's what he thought:
He felt more evidence that Purple Guy could be Phone Guy - in addition to the stuff from his FNAF 2 video, Phone Guy knew about the safe rooms, and in his rush into the suit forgot about a leaky ceiling that would moisten the spring locks.
