It’s a horror franchise. All horror franchises share the same 3 things: 1. Dead people. 2. Weird stuff that shouldn’t be there. 3. The worst police force on the planet. By this logic, Florida is a horror franchise. Thank you for hearing my rant.
I'm of the opinion that people in the five nights at freddies universe are physically incapable of spotting dead bodies because how else could any of the events of Any of yhe games happen
As the 100% real Toy Freddy, I always found it weird how little lore significance Freddy had (not counting Golden Freddy). Say what you want about Security Breach, but having Freddy be a major player for once was nice.
one thing I've been thinking about recently is how the bite scene in fnaf 4 shouldn't be a spring lock failure. the way the springlocks work is to pull back the robot parts so a person can get in the suit. but this thing is, in the bite scene fredbear is already in animatronic mode, so the spring locks are already in extended position.
Yeah, a pneumatic mechanism for an animatronic head shouldn't be able to apply that much force. However, we don't know if it *was* using pneumatics, or if it was using some other mechanism. For example, if it were using a "worm drive" (basically a tipless screw that rotates to move up-and-down,) then it may have been more likely to be able to just "keep going" despite an obstruction.
@@flamingphoenix1425 here's my thoughts on that: You can't cover it up at a birthday party like that But Michell Afton and co never got called out by news or something like that (as far as we know of) The FNAF universe is stupid (obvious example being that the mci kids actually didn't get found despite customer saying they smell and nobody put two and two together) so yeah, that's why I think it being a cover up could be true. And also it would mean that William could use Michell as a Puppet with how vulnerable Michell is Also how TF do you spell Michel for Michel Afton? Am I doing it right?
One thing about Fredbear. I've only heard one person ever mention this, but it's highly unlikely that it was a springlock failure, because the springlocks weren't locked. Because Fredbear was in 'animatronic mode', there would be no springlocks for moisture to trip (unlike what happened to William Afton). It was likely just the sheer force of the jaw, which makes it all the more unsettling that the jaw has enough force to crunch down on his head
I believe Matpat looked into how much force it would require, and it turns out that Fredbear would’ve had to have been equipped with some pretty heavy duty hydraulics that would be ridiculously powerful for an animatronic. It could just be an oversight from Scott and not mean anything, but if it was intentional, that means William was trying to build killing machines before the bite of ‘83. It has some interesting lore implications if so
maybe the mouth closes using springlocks to mask the face from being seen when in suit mode so the illusion isnt broken for the kids and for the body it works in an opposite way with them retracting to fit a body inside
Once I had a dream with him in it where I was the night guard in sister location, and he was trying to get me to climb in his stomach hatch. I asked him if it would hurt, and he responded “no, it won’t hurt ME a bit!” Then he laughed. I still think about that dream like 3 years later bc of how hilarious and strangely in character it was
The extremely brief mention of Fnaf movie being disclosed with “it’s not out yet” and moving on without missing a beat was hilarious, and made sense considering any info about Freddy's role would be speculation. Just finishing up the video still but this has been a wonderful video! I can clearly see you’ve put a lot of work into this video and it's definitely living up to the hype!
Seriously, Lefty's voice is just the creepiest goddamn thing in my opinion. It's like the voice of a small child, having sobbed for hours and cried herself to exhaustion, but now bring used to give you the promise of eternal torture.
I mean…. If your the one who died first and gave life to all this shit for 20+ years you’d be tired as hell too if some random ass black bear yoinks you and your dad burns you 💀
Kellen didn't need to go as hard as he did with his Freddy voicelines, but I'm very glad he did. Fabulous video overall! The long run-time was a pleasant surprise, and the work you put into it was clear from the start. Well worth the watch.
This was a really well put together video! My personal favorite Freddy is the original (which is probably an unpopular opinion considering how irrelevant he is). I've always felt like the original Freddy Fazbear should have had (or was originally supposed to) have a larger role, both in terms of lore and gameplay in later games. And that's not just because he's the face of the series. Something about the way he acts stands out (mainly in FNaF 1), with him crying or laughing whenever he moves, and with him seemingly being more intelligent/conscious than Bonnie and Chica (such as him hiding from the camera, and him being more aggressive than the others once he's activated), along with just how hype it felt when Freddy finally moved for the first time in FNaF 1. Also, in the cutscenes in-between nights in FNaF 2, it seemed like Freddy WAS going to have a larger role, with us being in his POV, as all the animatronics stare at him (still dont exactly know what that was about). But in the end, he's one of the more irrelevant characters, with his role being equal to Foxy's, and Bonnie's (even Chica has more lore significance).
The hour-long Fazbear analysis. What a work. Nedd Bear feels like FNAF making fun of itself with the “obscure secondary characters” line, especially since they were 6 games in and bootleg FNAF characters as well as deviantart OCs were unfathomably common. He reminds me a lot of Fake Crash from the Crash Bandicoot games. When a game or story only exists just for fanservice and doesn’t have a terribly big impact on the overall narrative, self-parody can be fun like that.
Honestly, I've always had a bit of a fixation on the crying child. And Nightmare Fredbear but that's mostly due to his voice lines and design. Back to CC, I do find it really odd how he never got a name. We have some info on Elizabeth, a lot of lore on Micheal, more than enough on William. But despite the fact that CC is one of the most important pieces of FNAF 4, is connected to a bite(even if it isn't THE bite), and his death seems to have at the very least shifted Micheal's actions and made him feel an immense amount of regret, we don't ever learn his name. Obviously, there's a bunch of fan theories and fan names but it just feels a bit odd that he's such a massive turning point in the Afton family but we don't get something as simple as a name. Especially considering that we've had the name Jeremy repeated in this franchise at least 3 different times and they're all different people. I wonder if Scott is ever going to formally reveal the name or if it'll just remain an enigma forever.
I have a fixation on him too. I also have this need to protect this poor kid too 🥺 But.. it is strange he never got a name tbh. Like please give him one! he deserves it. I pray he gets one some day lol. Especially since he's a pretty important character especially to mike. Though I'm hoping his character will get more of spotlight in the movies. Like there's a character named "garrett" who a lot of ppl are speculating is the younger brother of mike in the movie. So he could be like the CC in this universe. its at least something haha
45:44 thank u very much for showing this cut line - i’m not as crazy about glamrock freddy as everyone else is, but even i must admit that my life is better for hearing him say “d’aww”
it's kind of funny to think that Freddy the Character the game is named after doesn't have a lot of lore significance other than just being the main guy or namesake of Fazbear entertainment and subsidiaries. It's mostly his variants who have some lore significance or immediate story importance. That being said if the official Freddy Fazbear voice is the one from the mobile game, that kinda blows. It sounds too much like an intern messing with a voice changer. The cut one from Help Wanted definetly "suits" og freddy better imo. Edit: Also rockstar Freddy is a better dad than my own lol
I like to think the original animatronics had semi-specific roles when it came to their vocals. Chica and The Marionette the female vocals obviously. Fredbear was the countertenor (I like to think he sang in falsetto a lot) or had a very large vocal range. Bonnie was the lead tenor and often sang the main melody. Spring Bonnie, another tenor, had a voice like Jimmy Dodd from The Mickey Mouse Club Foxy was the baritone Freddy Fazbear was the bass (I like to think he was voiced by Thurl Ravenscroft in-universe)
Oh HELL no. It's not just me who disagrees with you about the Freddy's voice bullshit, it's Scott himself. Freddy's VR voice was specifically cut at his request because it "wasn't iconic enough" and "din't fit the character". The AR voices were approved by Scott, so his AR voice objectively fits him more-- Freddy's literal creator thinks so.
Can I just say that your voice is very calming to listen to. I don’t know what it is about it but your voice has this soothing tone to it that helps me relax, which is great for getting in the mood for a FNaF character deep dive
i will never not tear up at any recreation of freddy getting shattered. that alone would have made security breach SO much better, story wise. yeah i wouldnt have things around it to make it work super well, but that sort of thing feels like it should have been a absolute no cut

My favorite Freddy is probably Withered Freddy. He's the most iconic Freddy aside from thr original and feels like something you'd see at a animatronic entertainment restaurant like Chuck E Cheese if he was fixed.
The work you put into these videos really shows, not just in terms of the research, but also presenting that research in a fun, interesting way with commentary attached. It's like half character encyclopdia and half fun gossip column. Also thanks for introducing me to VR Toy Freddy. I like UCN toy freddy well enough, but the VR version sounds like such a nice polite boy and I hope to see more of him
Stuff I have to add: Toy Freddy's gimmick I did like was the weird, listless poses he sometimes takes. His eyes go completely black and empty, he slouches and his head and arms hang entirely unsupported, his microphone still mindlessly gripped in one hand. It gives this off feeling about him, like he's just a puppet or tool that's forgotten about, particularly as he's the least active of the Toys and Withered. Shadow Freddy is actually a recolor of Withered Golden Freddy (and more together than him despite the likely incorporeal nature, as he keeps his head), as is Phantom Freddy - though Phantom Freddy is also missing his right leg below the knee as opposed to just having a different color paint-bucketed over his body and glowing teeth and eyes. Nightmare Freddy actually kneels on the bed if you're looking at him when he jumpscares you. Fun fact. Funtime Freddy walks into the room in HW Night Terrors the same way as Nightmare Fredbear, though Funtime Freddy's appearance is through a rapid switching of renders as the room darkens. I think that level is a little unfinished, between Freddy's tendency to get stuck in the outer hallways, this unfinished animation when he's up close and personal, and the entirely unchanged gameplay to FNaF 4 - though that last one is kind of in-character for him to play along with this game of the hunter and their prey. Dreadbear doesn't appear in Hallway. Nightmare Freddy himself does, chasing you with the sound of the Freddles clinging onto him to remind you that if you slow down, you're at his mercy. Or _their_ mercy, if the Freddles get a say in it. Dreadbear acts as the finishing piece to the Jack-O-tronics, with Grimm Foxy being the Foxy counterpart to FNaF 4's Jack-O-Bonnie and -Chica, as it best references his AI in the original game - he can be slowed down, but he cannot be stopped. Since the others are somewhat more ethereal in nature, it makes sense that the Freddy equivalent would be something more solid than just another hollow, fire-filled suit that would be dispelled entirely by the lights. I never realized 'Are you having fun yet?' was initially from Funtime Freddy, but that's horrifying new knowledge, thank you. The Funtime line bear in TFC is actually Blacktime Freddy, who is an easter egg character I bring up often (because the graphic novels did him dirty as did Scott). Blacktime Freddy was an easter egg in SL, whose monochrome face (which appears on the novel's cover) showed up in place of Ennard's mask. He was a cut character in both SL Custom night and UCN, though his mask did appear again in UCN's SL/FFPS themed office, but he didn't show up as a threat ever in the series. In the novel, he is described as 'like Freddy but looking off and wrong somehow', and is specifically noted to have two hands and yellow eyes. He's Yenndo with a casing on, that's it. Blacktime Freddy's shell was removed hence part of it being on the wall, so his endoskeleton wanders on its own. That seems to be the case here. Anyways, that's him - a Freddy variant all but removed from three different parts of the series, all of which is was intended to be in and all of which he was forgotten from, though given his uncreative name and relatively simple design it's not too surprising. Blacktime Freddy does have a few cool moments in the novel. He operates a massive mirror maze, where everyone gets understandably lost as while some are funhouse mirrors, others are simply normal mirrors that are difficult to tell apart from other paths and many doors within the maze will open and close at random to rearrange the layout, forcing anyone within to move quickly. Freddy calls out while he hunts the group, breaks some mirrors, and they get away eventually. He's noted to be incredibly loud, because he's just outright shouting across the entire sizable maze from the speaker in his chest, which is an entertaining detail. He shows up later using what is presumably an identical luring system to Funtime Freddy, mimicking the crying of a child, and then unfolds himself from a small cubby in a hidden-away hide-and-seek vent section - and after being found, it's his turn, so chasing ensues. After he loses a fight with a 'roid-raging tilt-a-whirl, he shows up as what seems to be a reference to Molten Freddy, sliding in as little more than a pile of wires topped with the front of his head, with the speaker still speaking from within in a stuttering, glitched voice (I think he says something along the lines of "I'm here!"), and William says he's useless and kicks him back out the door. A disappointing end to a character that honestly had some good moments. While it's likely that the "There's nothing I want from you! Except your life~!" line is a reference to the books, it's still noteworthy that the Funtime Freddy that shows up in Count The Ways is.. inexplicable at best. It has a completely different internal design, a lot of things that absolutely could not be hidden, and a different personality - while it is escalated directly from the game version of Funtime Freddy, who plays games of hunting and does make threats, the CTW version is far more direct and has a lot of weird quirks that just don't seem to line up. Rant time about a really rather unrelated topic: As much as _You're The Band_ is closer to FNaF than the rest, I feel like something is lost with a plot point being 'oh he's being possessed by Freddy himself'. 'Freddy himself' is a mascot. Sure, he has a personality, and programmed routines, but he isn't actually alive or the soul possessing him. Despite this, the franchise seems determined to use the dead children as nothing more than fuel for the animatronics to get fitting personalities of their own. This can work, such as with the Toys and Funtimes who are possibly unpossessed and the latter of whom are specifically sentient and separate to souls possessing them. It can work with the Nightmares, given personalities by a third party as they themselves are not possessed at all. It doesn't work for the Withered/classic animatronics, and only really the Golden Duo have escaped this phenomenon, though more because both of their mascots' personalities are more unknown so each has had their characterization centered around their respective spirits. The closest we've ever gotten to this other than them is perhaps a single mention from Circus Baby in SL, who after her stories about her one day on stage, says "I can still hear her, sometimes. Why did that happen?", directly implying that the Funtimes are independently sentient and that Circus Baby and Elizabeth are two different entities, which I suppose means that SL uses the character of Baby and FFPS uses the character of Elizabeth, hence the ridiculous about-face the character does, given the perspectives their various respective lines have. Unless Baby considers William to be her father and acts like her name suggests, which we've seen proven false. Anyways, these are just additions I wanted to make - this video was a long one, but quite enjoyable! I can certainly see how it caused some scheduling changes elsewhere with the amount of effort you put into your editing.
Fantastic video, as always 😎 That said, I'm not 100% on board with calling Glamrock Freddy a Himbo - I choose to view him as particularly dedicated, self-aware work of art, with a life's purpose for entertaining kids like Gregory - even if it means presenting himself as a oaf. I mostly base this on my favorite quote of his, where he contemplates "if I am mass-produced, am I still art?". (Yes, I know his existential crisis can't be triggered to say it unless you glitch him into the endo basement, but I consider it canon to his intended personality)
I’ve been have terrible anxiety lately and haven’t been able to relax or sleep this video helped me so much Freddy is a comfort character for me and just having a long video all about him is so nice I was finally able to relax and ended up getting some sleep that I needed I’m going to be rewatching this several times
One thing, the girl that was inside the funtime freddy did not die, weirdly enough, in the prologue she is said to walk out of the shed were funtime freddy was.
A phenomenal video- I really enjoyed to longer format. All the information was condensed enough to fit perfectly within one hour while also being entertaining, which is super impressive! Every version of Freddy had a detailed breakdown that said pretty much everything one needs to know about each version. I can’t imagine how much research and effort went into this, but I do know that you should be very proud of what you’ve achieved here. This was a delight to watch! The improvement from the text to speech “era” of the channel up to this documentary of a video is stellar and I seriously can’t wait to see what other content you’ll put out. Having said that, I hope you’ll treat yourself to something nice and have a good rest, because after the hours that must’ve went into making this you deserve it wholeheartedly. Thank you for this, and I’ll see ya next time 👍😊!
When you got to 19:24 and said "and here's the next one" and played the audio, I suddenly felt like we were in the salvage section of Pizzeria Sim and the view is the animatronic.
Ever since I got into FNAF, as far as I can remember, Freddy himself was always my favorite of the main 4! I was never 100% sure as to why but something about him has always appealed to me more than the others! Maybe it’s his design.
I can't help but feel like Freddy was always under-used in his own games following the first. In the first he was this difficult to understand, seemingly, all powerful animatronic. And from then on he's just been replaced everytime, usually with his own recolours.
To be fair to toy freddy in the context of UCN, I always understood that as him just kinda being done with the whole situation. Aftons dead, and he'd just prefer to game than being particularly on board with "the one you should not have killed" 's punishment game. He's been dragged along, but he doesn't have to really try.
Random fact about Phantom Freddy If you look through the game files, you can see he is missing his lower right leg. This is a design that does not carry on through FNAF world, help wanted, or any funko merch depicting him.
I so desperately hope we get Shattered Freddy in the Ruin DLC. So much potential would go to waste if it went unused. Those voicelines, especially the low rumbling "Greeeeegoryyyyyy" and "Suuuuperstaaaar" genuinely send chills down my spine
Tbh, when everyone else’s favorite animatronic from FNaF 1 was like Foxy or Bonnie, I was a big Freddy fan and as the years went on and we got more versions of each he still holds strong for me. I think he has been a great enemy in the games he appears, usually being tougher than the basic Bonnie and Chica types but not overly tough like Ennard. Plus I have these two Freddy plushies, one big and one small, who I made a joke about being Lord Eyebrows due to how thick and stiff they made the eyebrows with the little one being Brow Jr. Freddy is somehow both consistent yet diverse simultaneously but that makes his consistent appearances never get old since you never know what to expect.
My favorite Freddies are def Glamrock and normal Freddy. Normal Freddy is the most cuddly looking one and I want to hug him desperately, also his nose. And Glamrock is... Glamrock, he's great.
I’m glad you made this video! Freddy has always been my favorite character in the FNaF franchise. Also Fnaf 1 Freddy in AR also seems to be a bit merciful in some of his line “You did your best, and that’s all that counts.” “Aww you look down, would you like a hug?” “When you wake up, just remember, friend. Are. Forever.” “Most people like my hug.”
Personally my nose withered Freddy. It’s horrifying How he White in the hallway for you. I’m sure can you let your guard down he’s here and you only have a second to react.
Jokes aside, design-wise, my favourite one has got to be the original one, it's way too iconic. Character-wise - Glamrock, he is simply just so wholesome and comforting to be around. As far as the vibe goes- definitely Nightmare Freddy, his teaser image was fantastic, he's got some Krueger vibes
"Freddy is doing whatever when his son" wait, so this kinda confirms that Freddy is a dad in canon? Like, not actual canon outside the FNAF in universe but inside the FNAF universe the character of Freddy has a kid?
So, I fell asleep during your 3rd hot takes video and woke up to Lefty "Shhhh"ing me and I almost punched my computer lmao. time to restart the video and watch from the beginning
I like the idea of Toy Freddy just being a kind soul who gets a little heated & impatient when he plays video games. It's just fun to imagine passive people showing an uncharacteristically angry side. 8/6/23
Did you know lefty saying "I've been looking for you and now I will never let you go" is also said by circus baby. Which is a can of so many worms I've feared doing a theory on it for over a year
Toy Freddy is the ultimate villain of the series. Nothing worse than his cheese dust covered fingers grabbing you and telling you how the games industry has gone woke
Freddy has had some ups for example, funtime freddy, glamrock freddy and of course the original and some downs like phantom freddy and toy freddy. For fnaf, 2 withered bonnie and chica may be the scariest but withered Freddy is gigantic having to almost crouch to fit in the fnaf 2 office showing how big and built like a tank he is compared to the other animatronics. There are many other reasons but freddy will always be my favourite.
I can’t believe I Went for an Hour Jog and listened to Freddy facts the entire time. Nice Video, you really held my attention the whole time and made my run fun thanks!
This was great! I can't imagine the amount if work that went into it and you went all out on the details! I had a lot of fun with the UCN Rockstar Freddy and Movie Freddy sections
Something that may be notable about Nightmare is that they're replaced by Nightmarionne in the Halloween update of FNaF 4. There may be some connection between these 2 and Lefty as they're a black bear and a version of the puppet that are one in the same, though that's very speculative There's also less notable bears that aren't exactly important, but I'll list anyway: Prototype, Neon, Virtua Freddy, & Redbear
The dedication, the effort, and everything~ really love this kind of vids where even though its long, it still entertain and very informative as well. Really worth an hour of my time~ Hope to see more of these but with different animatronics :DD
im pretty sure the reason frostbear is technically a separate animatronic is cause he actually predates the skin mechanics probably being part of the inspiration for the skin mechanic
19:29 Sounds like "Enjoy the night shift." And everytime before his audio begins it sounds like a cassette tape being inserted and started. Also I swear Henry is the one you play as in Ultimate Custom Night because Springtraps lines make no sense if its supposed to be William Afton we play as, also makes sense why Baby would be so sadistic towards the player when you die.
Freddy Fazbear from the very first fnaf is the best antagonist in the fnaf serie for me. His ways of acting and strange charisma has always worked for me, the laugh, the way he is hiding and the fact he becomes active later on and depart after the others. He is portrayed as a true leader and a really collected enemy, he does not simply approch like Bonnie and Chica or runs at you like Foxy, he hides and stay at your door, he seems more dangerous and sentient than the others. After the first game i hated how he was treated in the others games, he was less than a secondary character and losed all his specials traits, like in fnaf 2, withered Freddy and even toy Freddy are a joke. I fully expected him to betray us in SB since he was always the tactical/strategic one in the band for me, i though he was acting to get under our skin. Such a shame the first Freddy was never brought back, definitly one of my favorite character, i was never on the bonnie/foxy hype train, i find Freddy so interesti g with his strange strategy and creepy presence in the 1st game
Freddy has always been my favorite. I don't know why, something about him, specifically has just stuck out to me. I think it's his evolution throughout the games. I mean, Freddy has gone from silent predator, to tragic victim, to a horrific nightmare, to angry vengeful spirit (technically golden Freddy, but still) to pennywise ass killing machine, to wire mishmash, to my favorite lovable boy. That is a LOT of character development there😂. But yeah, I love Freddy. He's my favorite of all of the original cast.
I want to share an old Theory I had on Dreadbear it has long been disproven but I think it’s fun to think about. With Glitchtrap’s take over and all the fnaf 4 references I saw it as a sort of parallel to the aftermath of fnaf 4. The build a mangle, and flaming night guard games being William’s stress after the bite, while many of the others being The older brother’s guilt intensifying in the lead up to Halloween ‘83. All leading up to the build a dread bear minigame. Who I saw as an representation of putting the Crying child back together. But as a proper Frankenstein’s monster and not a robot. And maybe becoming Micheal since if he was already a zombie then the scooping thing wouldn’t be a problem. Of course as I said I definitely don’t believe the Dreadbear part anymore but the fall fest 1983 still feels like too much effort for nothing.
FUN FACT! The Fredbear voice lines were actually Freddy’s voice lines! They were scrapped, but Fredbear was put in the picture, so the voice lines were pitched down, and distorted to sound like he was underwater, not so safe for those Springlocks, am I right?
Golden freddy is easily one my favorites of the freddy due to the mysterious nature of it and it just feels uncanny to me. I especially find Golden freddy role in ultimate custom night quite interesting which only mskes me like the character more. A close second goes to plain nightmare fredbear thanks to his scary lines in ultimate custom night and design. I especially fine this line creppy. "What a gift to relish,in a victim that can't perish".
1:16 - actually, the duration of Freddy’s music box *isnt* random You can extend his jingle just by not looking around and staying completely still when the power goes out Neat trick to buy yourself more time if you’re close to 6AM
Really great video! Freddy is actually my favorite character in all of fiction (his Frostbear design being my absolute favorite) and I really appreciated a video like this being made. I wish Freddy was more respected in his series, especially since so many characters took the spotlight from him. One of the few things I liked about Security Breach was that they found a way to make him a main character again

one thing I've been thinking about recently is how the bite scene in fnaf 4 shouldn't be a spring lock failure. the way the springlocks work is to pull back the robot parts so a person can get in the suit. but this thing is, in the bite scene fredbear is already in animatronic mode, so the spring locks are already in extended position.
That’s what I’ve been saying for years and nobody’s ever thought about how the spring locks ever worked to actually realize that
I think the reason people think that is because that was a cover up type excuse
@@flamingphoenix1425 here's my thoughts on that:
You can't cover it up at a birthday party like that
But Michell Afton and co never got called out by news or something like that (as far as we know of)
The FNAF universe is stupid (obvious example being that the mci kids actually didn't get found despite customer saying they smell and nobody put two and two together) so yeah, that's why I think it being a cover up could be true. And also it would mean that William could use Michell as a Puppet with how vulnerable Michell is
Also how TF do you spell Michel for Michel Afton? Am I doing it right?
@@Mimiyan_or_Pikapikafan You spell it as "Michael".
It has some interesting lore implications if so
@@thesnailale I'd lean towards oversight, but could be one of those things that could get retconned if needed
@@thesnailaleBut Henry created fredbear and the more baseline animatronics.
@@DynamoLynx That’s not confirmed in the game lore

BON BON GO GET EM!!
fr him and goamrock freddy r my fav
The voice line of Freddy saying "gregooorrrry~" is fucking bone chilling. Actually induces anxiety and panic.
Seriously, Lefty's voice is just the creepiest goddamn thing in my opinion. It's like the voice of a small child, having sobbed for hours and cried herself to exhaustion, but now bring used to give you the promise of eternal torture.
I absolutely love it. Its so creepy but it fits

But in the end, he's one of the more irrelevant characters, with his role being equal to Foxy's, and Bonnie's (even Chica has more lore significance).
yeah
I also have this need to protect this poor kid too 🥺
But.. it is strange he never got a name tbh.
Supposedly his name is Evan, but don’t take my word for it, I haven’t dug around the community and lore for several years at this point.

It's kind of amazing how many styles this series of games went through and how it still works together!
it's kind of funny to think that Freddy the Character the game is named after doesn't have a lot of lore significance other than just being the main guy or namesake of Fazbear entertainment and subsidiaries.
Spring Bonnie, another tenor, had a voice like Jimmy Dodd from The Mickey Mouse Club
Foxy was the baritone
Freddy Fazbear was the bass (I like to think he was voiced by Thurl Ravenscroft in-universe)
I think that was the result of the game becoming a franchise. Remember Fnaf was a black sheep success and the missing children were just easter eggs
Right? Its not dificult to give him lore its kinda obious hes the second in charge
You mean Glamrock Freddy

My favorite Freddy is probably Withered Freddy. He's the most iconic Freddy aside from thr original and feels like something you'd see at a animatronic entertainment restaurant like Chuck E Cheese if he was fixed.
The way he looms over you in the office in fnaf 2 is so unsettling aswell. his design and all of his camera renders are just so cool
Thanks, I've been wanting to watch all the histories together but was bummed when Freddy wasn't there
The work you put into these videos really shows, not just in terms of the research, but also presenting that research in a fun, interesting way with commentary attached. It's like half character encyclopdia and half fun gossip column.
Also thanks for introducing me to VR Toy Freddy. I like UCN toy freddy well enough, but the VR version sounds like such a nice polite boy and I hope to see more of him
Stuff I have to add:
Toy Freddy's gimmick I did like was the weird, listless poses he sometimes takes.
Rant time about a really rather unrelated topic:
As much as _You're The Band_ is closer to FNaF than the rest, I feel like something is lost with a plot point being 'oh he's being possessed by Freddy himself'.

Random fact about Phantom Freddy
If you look through the game files, you can see he is missing his lower right leg.
Soooo what did you think about what we got 👀
What do you think of glamerock freddy?
@umairashraf5167 He’s a cool and interesting change for the character, even if the scrapped Shattered Freddy stuff was scrapped.
Also Fnaf 1 Freddy in AR also seems to be a bit merciful in some of his line

And everytime before his audio begins it sounds like a cassette tape being inserted and started.
Also I swear Henry is the one you play as in Ultimate Custom Night because Springtraps lines make no sense if its supposed to be William Afton we play as, also makes sense why Baby would be so sadistic towards the player when you die.
Some think the character is Michael, the one you should not have killed being Crying Child
I love the use of pizza tower music
blissful
I think by the time of Security Breach, they aren't just *animatronics* anymore. They're full on robots
I think we crossed that line around Sister Location, admittedly.
52:51 Ah, a nice thorough analysis. Never have I been more enlightened.
"it was just a prank bro" -michael
Your take on the movie was very riveting lol.
I loved the video though!! Definitely one of my favorite from you so far :)
1:16 - actually, the duration of Freddy’s music box *isnt* random
You can extend his jingle just by not looking around and staying completely still when the power goes out
Neat trick to buy yourself more time if you’re close to 6AM
I think that's just an urban legend based on a thing phone guy says, no actual basis in the code.
I really wish we could have seen the original story of _Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach._ It sounds like it would have been so good!
This great as always excited for whats next
