Spiders Mom saying all that weird stuff and essentially projecting her misandry onto him, like saying IN FRONT of him that you think he could SA someone is wild. So I think that makes it hard for him to “perform” which actually proves that he’s not a bad guy if he’s too scared to even risk it, but obviously it’s messed up.
spider's mom made great points about men but it is the way she talked about Spider and his innocence that was wrong. Men still are part of a bigger problem socially speaking but not through the lens of misandry and her attacking her own son
I think cash decided to move out after chook threw the brick through his nan's window. Shes older and she cant be going through stuff like that. He probably just thought it was too dangerous.
i found the little bit of spider’s backstory we got to be so intriguing and also stressful. i’ve never seen misandry portrayed on tv before and it’s interesting to know now that his misogyny at school is just a rebellion from all the views his mom forces on him at home 🤸🏾♀️doesn’t excuse but does explain quite nicely!! i hope they continue his redemption arc into season 3
The music that this show picks is amazing. Plus they really promote Australian music Like when Rowan says he thinks Malachi is fine and the scene cuts to Malachi sobbing in bed to the song “torn” by Natalie Imbroglio
10:43 In the escape room episode Rowan mentioned that he does date guys AND "not just guys". He just never identified his sexuality w a label but most people have assumed he is bi
I think Rowan may have been practicing his handwriting so it looked different to how it normally looks maybe either that or he's really trying to get himself to forget about her. That's how I took it anyways❤

Hii, loved your reaction as always. You should check out "my lady jane". It's a great series and I would love to hear what you have to say about that one.
Can you guys respond to more Australian stuff. The following movies are great Chopper (2000) with Eric Bana..Bana gives a phenomenal performance with many stating he should have won Oscar..Brad Pitt saw chopper and loved it and bana’s performance and Pitt then cast Eric in Troy Before acting in chopper Eric Bana was mainly known for being a stand up comedian.. to see Bana go from being a comedian to playing chopper is epic Priscilla queen of the desert (1994) starring guy Pearce..great film with lots of great ABBA songs Muriel’s wedding (1994) starring Toni Collette The castle (1997) also starring Eric Bana as well The four above films had huge impact and so many catchphrases from the films are used in everyday life of Australians

I never thought when watching the first season I would grow to really like spider and especially missy and their relationship

In the 90's show the cast had a funky garage flat, that eventually almost the entire cast had lived in at one time or another.

"eater" is craaaaaazy
If you guys ever go back and watch you should look really close at the sand art Rowan showed Amerie. There are so many clues throughout the season!
Not the Lestat impression 😂😂
I don't think I suspected Rowan early on. I did think it was odd with the apparent switching up of affection from Malakai to Amerie.
He was barely into malachai too its more like he was amused by him
