    I made in the bottom of platic container lots of holes using heated spike and 2nd container like a pot for water from tofu. It's work great for me.

    Hi, great video. Short, simple and informative.
    Can you please share below details?
    * How much gm of soybean were used and how much tofu it made?
    * How much ml water was added while blending ?
    * What is the proportion of lemon juice and water in coagulant?

      *1 +1/4 cup soy beans (before soaking_ will make around 250g of tofu.
      *1+ 1/4 cups dry soybeans will need 5 cups of water for blending
      *1/2 cup water and 1 +1/2 tablespoons lemon juice (maybe a little more if lemon is not sour)

    Thank you! I didn't realize that it was relatively simple to make tofu. 2 questions. You soak the beans but do you cook them or keep them raw?
    How long does it take to cook the milk? Thanks!

    My guy and son aren't crazy about soy made tofu can I use pumpkin seeds.

    What I do is first boil the soybean liquid paste without adding a lot of water. And then squeeze the milk.
    It’s easier to squeeze the milk and the okara is also cooked(as they say that Soy has some Trypsin Inhibitors that need to be cooked)
    Just bring the milk to boil and add lemon juice and let it sit for 10 mins without vigorously mixing it.
    Voila !!Perfect tofu.

      Okara will get cooked in thr next recipe too.. but I will try this method. My only priority is the texture and taste of tofu.
      Have u tried my method ? How is the texture of tofu and taste with your method ?

      @@PriyankaNJain It tastes the same. But if you make soy curd . It also tastes better. I like to add a bit jaggery to my soy curd or make a raita. Removes its soy Taste

      @@PriyankaNJain almond would be too expensive......peanut is good option, have you tried? I am just afraid it would have peanuty flavour

      @@EiLpigreco it makes the soil infertile and is also not appropriate to be used as rotational crop, just within a few years, it manages to degrade the quality of soil 😅just little what I know 🙏
