They changed the yoke and blade rail so they're quieter now. Warning: Do NOT allow any blade wash to get into the internals! (PCB motherboard and battery) These short out easily. Turn the machine upside down for a bit after washing the blades.
I’m a babyliss user and I been loving that MIM blade from babyliss with my black fx ones. I bought this andis master I figured I would give this a try. Never had andis back in the day I was about them osters. I have to say I’m impressed by this clipper. The one thing I didn’t like was the run time. I noticed the blade comes dialed in zero gapped. Which I believe the silvers ones comes with taper blade that are not dialed in zero gapped. It is said that phase blade is a faper aka fusion blade. My experience with this clipper it takes out guide lines much much better.
take the blade off, take off blade slider, pop out the little rectangle piece and file the back side of it down so the lever goes to the lowest notch, works everytime💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Personally I love floating levers/traditional levers because it makes it easier for me to surf and slide between levels. I feel click levers restrict you from having specific levels you want to hit on the lever. Like on a floating lever or traditional lever I can literally put the lever in between half way open and a quarter of the way open if i want to. On a click lever you go straight from quarter to halfway. Not that it really matters at the end of the day cause either one you can do a fire cut its just personal preference really. Also the way I hold the clipper is with my thumb resting on the lever so it feels better when its traditional rather than click for that grip i use also
I'm sure you can zero gap em but mine came pretty close already straight out the box... gave myself a low drop fade on 360's this morning and SHEESH! These clippers are 🔥🔥🔥
All my OGs in the shop who been cutting 20+ year all have a set of masters and all said that they only use the 0 guard. Rare they use the 1. Clipper over comb the rest
BOTH! lol. I dont think "lawnmower" is a barber term for sound. It's more used to describe how well it cuts down bulk, i believe. But to answer your question, it is WAYYYY more quiet than previous models.
I had 3 cordless masters, the only one that gave out on me was when they first came out and they lasted a couple years before the battery gave out…only problem with these clippers is the run time is only 90mins which isn’t a big deal if you’re placing the clippers back on the dock when they’re not in use
Bricks ! And babyliss edgers suck they get loud as hell the lever on the clippers wears down fast and slides during use SC has a ton of power switch problems short outs exc

Really appreciate that information! Thank you!

this is false, Andis has confirmed that it is the same exact clipper just with a new blade and a paint job, no other improvements!

Bought myself a pair and I could honestly say best clippers I used so far. You could hear the crunch and it’s easier to take out the lines for fades
This thang CRUNCHESSSSSSS !
Nice review! Straight and to the point. Cuts are flawless too! 👊🏼
Appreciate that FWBS! 🫡 Best barber supply in DFW 💯
why didn't you let us hear the sound?

Dope comment. Love the difference in preference. It's what makes us US. 🫡
Are these zero gapped or did you do these haircuts with the Andis clipper straight out the box?
I'm sure you can zero gap em but mine came pretty close already straight out the box... gave myself a low drop fade on 360's this morning and SHEESH! These clippers are 🔥🔥🔥

Out of the box, NO. Idk whay they will sound like a month from now.
@@KriispyKing do you use the blur or the phat master ?
Sooo.. is it really that much quieter or is it still a lawnmower?
BOTH! lol. I dont think "lawnmower" is a barber term for sound. It's more used to describe how well it cuts down bulk, i believe. But to answer your question, it is WAYYYY more quiet than previous models.
@@KriispyKing will be interesting to see if that holds up in a month
The real question, is will the black paint chip of, like the old black Master did?
I bought some haven’t used them yet but they look amazing
Absolutely 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Did you zero gap em?
Or dead stock out the box?
Definitely had to Zero gap to get that bald line out. Everything on my station is zero gapped. Just a personal preference.
They seem like quality bro my only concern is are you able to zero gap them?🤔
Yes, they zero gap with ease. I zero gapped mine.
Gotta get em now
You gonna love these !
You should of let us hear how ot sounds
Shop was too loud during the recording of this video. I'll do better next time.
I need a ASMR sound clip or something bro
Lol. The shop was too loud. Ill do better
💯💯💯
review TPOB PLAY already man
Lol im not going to.
these or TPOB Play (assuming zero gapped)
Never used the Play
*TPOB “Plays” just replaced my SC Rebels as the “Work Horse” of my arsenal. The Play & the .50 Caliber MAG Ltd Edt.’s are superior for fading…!!*

Plus andis has a really good warranty on their products
