Trinity Railway Express trains in Irving | 6/22/21

On a Tuesday afternoon, I went to go see a couple of TRE trains in Irving, and also managed to get some action going on at the TRE's Irving yard.

How rare is it to see a train entering the yard?

Not at all. They do it every day except Saturday with the eastbounds that terminate at CentrePort and the westbounds that terminate at West Irving.
