Yeah. I’m 24 and only this year went to a doctor and found out I have PCOS after of years of other doctors telling me “once you gain more weight it will come back” “be less stressed” “eat healthy” My period may only come back after daily medication for years.
I hear you and I can only relate to some of it.... for me there is no reason I can not have children I am perfectly healthy and we have spent over 60 thousand dollars and have nothing but heartache to show for it. I can't even walk past the baby aisle at WalMart and see the frilly dresses or the tiny suits.
Sad story. But.... this lady is LUCKY she has enough financial freedom to hire a surrogate. That she had enough money to go through the IVF and harvest those eggs. Some women go through cervical cancer during infertility but dont have the financial means to do what she did. Their dream truly dies. They have no other option than to just surrender to it and "give up". So, in some ways... shes still luckier than most.
No child, uterine cancer when so young and having to be on hormones for the rest of her life (that's what happens when all of the female organs are removed)... Have you never heard the expression "money doesn't mean happiness"? She's just being as positive as she can.
Thank you so much for sharing I was diagnosed with pcos and told I will probably never get pregnant you are an inspiration

Wonderful!
check your thyroids and test for t3 and t4
and not just the typical one they check for.
Courageous! Hope a surrogate finds you.
Go Moms, hardest and most rewarding job in a woman's life.
Being overweight also causes infertility...
I think her doctor has the ability to tell her if that is her case or not. She doesn't need you judging her.
Maybe one of the reasons she is overweight is because PCOS causes weight gain and makes losing weight more difficult because it insulin resistance
