Spectacular views of the countryside, and the big trees look like paintings. Also love the animals. Watching the frog trying to climb is so funny. Thank you again for taking me on this walk with you 🤗
Many thanks, Geraldine. Those beech trees are very cinematic, we feel like you can film them forever and find new angles and light. We are in love with that frog too, so cute:)

Some years ago, when I was a young man,I spent some time walking in the Basque Country with a friend. Thank you for reminding me of a truly beautiful part of the world. My legs can still remember some of the hard up hills!. Keep safe.👍
Thanks for sharing your story and glad that it brought back some nice memories for you. We actually think that the mountains in Basque country are not that challenging compared to the central part of Pyrenees so anyone definitely can do some hiking there:)
Thanks so much for your words! Yeah, it was quite hot then and it definitely helps to bring back the summer mood. Anyway the spring is around the corner already:)
I add to the mystery of Basque language, the mystery of Lithuanian, which is neither Slavic, nor Finnish/Estonian/Latvian. I have a book about this, I should look up! Also impressed that chickens are already out in January down in Spain. For a Swede at least, since for me natural winter another 2 months.... Brrr. We find chickens in the nature if we are lucky around Easter! ANYWAY: Thank for nice trip-report and charming footage from hiking and down in the town! Have a good weekend you too!
Thank you for your comment. There are actually quite a few languages in the world that have a lot of mysteries about them. As for chickens, it was filmed in August - September last year, right now we don't think it is so different from Sweden:) Have a great week too!
Desafortunadamente no son nutrias, son una especie invasora llamada coipús procedente de Sudamerica que se criaba en Francia en granjas para la industria peletera y al dejarlas en libertad ha llegado al Pais Vasco y se trata de controlar su expansión. Buen video ¡
Hi, yes, we use the basic foam mats for summer hiking and are quite happy about them. The main advantage is that they're light of course but a bit bulky. And with time like after a season of hiking they become thinner and need a replacement.

No hemos enterado de este hecho cuando estuvimos allí, gracias por educar.
Do you use the Decathlon foam mats? Light and enough isolation...?
