I'd rather just buy the RIF parts, pretty sure you don't need a UKARA to buy parts since I do it all the time lol In fact 5 of my RIF guns were built from parts bought separately, didn't save much money if any but at least it was a fun project.

Some guns are painted two tone, some are made in coloured plastics. This gun was painted, so yeah i just used paint/varnish remover to take the two tone paint off.

Ukara is a defense for the seller it’s illegal to manufacture a rif and use it badly like robbing a shop with it or waving it around with plastic. As long as you move it in a gun case locked up and hard to get quickly it’s not illegal.

It IS illegal to paint an airsoft gun in the UK to realistic colours as its classed as manufacturing a RIF. Check the VCR act.
