Thank you! To all those Bomber Boys and (all the soldier and sailors,) for my freedom. I served 12 years in the British Army, mainly IED/EOD. The aircrews of Bomber Command, in my humble opinion, deserve our total and utter respect. To reiterate....Thank you for my freedom. Thanks to all of the men from around the commonwealth, who gave their lives, so that I am able to live mine. I will never forget you. Bless you each and every one.
Paul Foley Wow that was so nice to read Paul and glad you did not forget the others from other countries that helped us and all the other services even Mary Ellis flue one on her own what a lady she was , she’d piloted so many planes that I can’t even name that amount of planes . Nice one Paul 🇬🇧
Just awesome....I live about 20 minutes from the Hamilton, Ontario airport where the Lancaster is based out of. Went out for the day to watch her leave for the UK, but she had engines problems and left the next day. We frequently see it fly over our house on weekends as we seem to be the turn around point for most of its flights. I am so proud to see her over in the UK...enjoy the moments and you take care of her for us!!!
''Mayday'' ''Mayday'' ''Lost power on all ten merlins but some how were still giving it the beans''.... Great video. How can someone 'dislike' this video ? Maybe he's a German....
Great video of the Lancaster's in action. In June I was fortunate enough to get up in the Canadian one VRA. Link attached for that flight Flight in a Lancaster Bomber
EK Not far away now, lovely video in sunset. Imagine what I would be like if 3 were together in the air and also lined up on the ground??? Just hope there some Lancaster veterans at EK, would be nice to talk to them about this aircraft and there experience's.
Wonderful job--best yet. All watcher's of this vid will naturally turn the volume up---warning! voice-over intercom breaks in occasionally--and will scare the shit out out of ya.
Absolutely awesome but where did they get the other lanc ? its not the Canadian one as it has atop turret its not the east kirkby one as someone said they will see all three at EK, many thanks for the upload, MAGIC
It is the Canadian one, it was on our local news when it arrived as I'm only the other side of the Humber. If flew via Greenland and Iceland to get here.
Hi John, I filmed this at the East End of the runway in a field well away from any people and trees. Thanks for the comments, and lots more videos to be released on my channel in the next few weeks.
google "2lancsuk" the Canadian Lanc is here and flying with the BoBMF Lanc, one event planned is a flypast over a taxiing/running lanc that isnt airworthy
The footage of them silhouetted by the sunset sky is absolutely sensational

Beggars belief to imagine what 500 of them must have sounded like.
In a few years time, this will happen again, but with three lancs
What a shame that the camera speed is in cync with the prop speed.
Yes I was gutted, my best camera failed on me, so I had to use a cheep back up
"Moist eyes and swallow hard" time.
Lancasters, not Lancaster's!
Wank cameras used spoil the whole effect
Spoilt by use of inappropriate cameras distorting propeller action
