This is part 2 of my Solo backpacking trip on the High Sierra Trail. While in this section of the High Sierra Trail I cover the area from Hamilton Lakes to Junction Meadow on the Kern River. This section covers just under 30 miles of trail and passes areas such as Precipice Lake, Kaweah Gap, Nine Lake Basin, Moraine Lake, Kern Hot Spring and the Kern River.
