In this video, we test 93 octane vs E85 ethanol in my 2009 C63 AMG. I’d drive both nowadays the c63 sounds mean mean everyone has different set ups but they all sound bad ass. Vrp sent me bent pullies and to top it off the took like 3 months to send it to me bad experience with them.
C63. I have a CLK63AMG and just love the sound of the M156, especially with the roof down. I’m really interested to see what other mods are carried out on the N/A platform without strapping a supercharger. E.g cams. Is it possible to hit 600+Bhp N/A without resorting to expensive M159 parts

I ran 485whp on a Dynomite AWD Dyno with VRP headers and V7 tune so the e85 would have put it at right over 500WHP. That’s the club to get into with a $20-30k car for sure!

@@potcommitted5355 I'm lucky enough here in WA to live not three blocks from an indy euro shop. Portland has some kickass tuners there as well, just a two hour drive from where I'm at.
Do it yourself. These cars a much easier to work on then you think. I have one. First Mercedes and I was shocked.
@@connorcallaway9485 I'll do it eventually, probably after my Nissan 4x4 is fixed so I'll have that as a daily while the Benz gets some work done. This guy has a ton of good videos for our cars that I'll refer to as I go along with the changes
@@gabrielmarshman2819 yeah these e55s are a great platform. Aside from the airmatic, it's a pretty well built machine. I would recommend one definitely to anyone looking for a 600+ hp daily for under 15 grand. You can't beat that.

This model C is still the best…through 2014! I had a 350 sport coupe (just the regular V6) and it was an absolute rocket ship!!

507 2014 c63 with 60k km
air filters, 3 inch headers, 98 Ron and tuning (obviously) 490 whp.
The m156 with more than 150k km are between 410 to 450 whp max on 98 ron
The C63 looks so violent when coming on the power on the dyno! Love it!

Love your video dude. I have a c63 amg s204, it is the sport wagon version. Mine makes same HP with a tune, same flex fuel kit, I don't have headers but only secondary decat.

That Weistec e55 is going to be a beast. C63 sounds just amazing, two totally different cars but both are huge bang for the buck.
With Long tube headers, decat, ROW-air boxes and a good tune you should have like 470whp at least... with e85 and a good tune 500whp.

That is pretty under powered for having long tube headers and row boxes. I would definitely advise to get it tuned by Eurocharged from either Jerry or Jake the co-owners of Eurocharged. With your mods of long tube headers, secondary cat deletes with x-pipe, row air boxes, and e85 tune you should see near 450whp on a Mustang dyno and about 500whp on a Dynojet. Some have seen near 525whp.
As a.Benz tech myself, I want a simple C55. Nothing fancy but just a little AMG in my life.
Thats my fav car ever over 200k miles.....on two differnt ones..RIP my 2006 this year..damn road hazards....best car ever for the simple man....now....because it make sense..and have had two c55 and still have the 06 white on black. I got c63 lololol...no longer simple man i guess be safe and good luck

I used to own an e320 2004 and it had distronic, it was one of the most fully optioned Mercedes i have ever seen, it had quad zone clima, straight six engine, full nappa leather, like, it had everything

Hey Alex I think you are an excellent very noligable technician, and I watch all your videos concerning Mercedes as because I am a Mercedes enthusiast myself. I know your very busy guy and I’m sure your very picky with the content you post on TH-cam, I think if you could maybe take that C55 AMG that you had in your page on a previous video and swap the M113 with a M113K engine would be awesome content that would get you atleast half a million views easily, or maybe a video of turbocharging a N/A m113 engine would be awesome just my opinion

congrats man, but would like to share also , had a 09 C63 with just the air box mod, an upsolute tune and a VMAX delete . dynoed. +70 wheel and indicated 195 MPH . i’m sure your car will do more !

I believe in the State of Illinois, you can get some money back on your taxes if you use E85 as your primary fuel. Save the receipts from your fill-ups.

On the LS3 i was seeing about 40rwhp gain for E85 tunes. They are bumping the total timing increase between 2-4 degrees over 93 octane to get the gain.

I wish I didn't NEED a truck. Due to budget constraints, my "fun car" is an '08 Caliber SRT-4. It's not stock, but I miss my V8 noises. If I could live without the truck, I'd definitely be in an AMG or a Jag F-type SVR. I just love the noise the Jag makes. If you ever get a chance, drive an SVR and post the video.
