How can a group that i'm guessing weren't even born in the 70s capture the essence of the 70s more than anything out of the 70s??? They really are awesome.
Exactly my thought. That whole first album sounds like a 70s TV movie or a Mike Post TV show theme song. What's even more amazing to me is that people so young actually like music that has the 70s written all over it.
More like late 60s. Says Boomer Check Everlasting Love by Love Affair or I'll do Anything, Doris Troy against stuff like Let's start to dance Bohannon, or You win again, Hot Chocolate. 70s is way _smoother_ Their parents might've been born in the decade they revive
Saw these guys live two nights ago, this song was good and they got the crowd going so well. there were so much energy in the room for such a small venue :)
Excellent video for this great song -- perfectly captures their crazy energy and mix 'n match eclecticism. Their songs always seems to reference cheerleaders and marching bands. Oddly enough, first heard this song in a car commercial on TV.
"You've got a mouth, don't you act like you ain't heard a thing Who told you to play the victim? You ain't suffering I see that lazy-ass attitude, hey, let it drop You've got potential, come on, take it to the tippety-top Come on and show that energy that you always give out Use it for something good, yeah you know what I'm talking about Keep talking, takes you higher, you can't take the fall Give it all, give it all, give it all, give it all (Do it, do it, alright!) Got ideas to supply And a passport to try Anything we should but don't Anything we could but won't Got our backs to the pack And no plans to take back Anything we've ever owned Anything we've ever known And what happens next will be yours now Cuz we've got to figure out If we're gonna show you how (Do it, do it, alright!) We have the right combination, we've got everything And to strike faster than lightning we raise what we bring We've got the right combination, it ain't time to fall Give it all, give it all, give it all, give it all."
We have the right combination, we got everything. And to strike faster than lightning, we raise what we bring. We have the right combination, It ain't time to crawl. Give it all!
I don't want to like it but dammit if it isn't catchy as hell. This is definitely a throwback from the early 90s! I mean, look at all the bright miniskirts!
If none of the singers lived during that time then they have no sense of nostalgia for that style of music, therefore they have no problem revisiting it. Which is neither good nor bad.. just an observation. I would say the positivity of the music is worth having around these days.
When I first heard about the term 'K-Pop', I imagined it would be something like this - hyper, über, just nnnn MORE than usual pop! Sure was disappointing to find out that it wasn't the case.
Wow! At 2:42 a guy is flipping off the camera! I've watched this video so many times and I've never caught that before. Seriously, 2:42 a guy is shooting a bird on top of a dinosaur.

They have a northern soul vibe!
i feel like we don't address how iconic they are
YES EXACTLY!
I like how whoever they are singing about, changes their attitude by the end of the song.
waking up and hearing this song on the radio = perfect start to a day.
One of the most original and exciting bands out there today, if you get a chance to see them, get off your ass and see them, they do not disapoint!
