Thank you so much for your very instructional video on changing the cabin filter and the engine filter. I am a 71-year-old woman and the dealer was going to charge me over $200 to change both these filters. Instead I watched your videos, and your videos were very clear and I knew I could probably do this on my own. I was able to change both of these filters by myself in about 10 minutes!!! Thank u so much for your great videos!!!😊

I took my 2022 CRV in for oil change new filters, new tires and other maintenance items. I was stund when Honda wanted to charge me $150. to change my cabin filter. So, I went to the dealership and bought one for $26 and installed myself. Don't let this happen to you.

Great video! When I saw that the dealer was gonna charge me $100 to replace the Cabin and Engine air filter I said screw that, I'll do it myself. Changed the cabin filter without a hitch, but when I went for the Engine Filter and I saw the platic tube attached to it, I started doubting myself thinking I had to remove that to access the filter. Thanks to you, I now know that the process is INCREDIBLY easy. Again, thanks so much for the video!
EDIT: Im back 5 minutes later. Changed the filter without a hitch. Thanks again man!

I purchased, at your suggestion, Spearhead air and cabin filters for our Hondas. The gasket on the engine air filter is rather fragile, allowing it to pull away from its position. With careful installation there appeared to be no problem. However, the OEM's, which I previously purchased through a Honda dealer, online, exhibited superior construction in this one area.
BTW: the cabin filter seemed fine.

Those screws can be taken off using a screw drive or a 10mm socket. Spray wd40 lubricant in the screw and let it soak for 30 minutes, then use the 10mm sockets to break loose. It will be tight the first time but then it becomes easy. You can get a cheap socket set for $10

You need Japanese screwdriver or socket to loosen the screws.
