One of the greatest scene transitions in film history. The scene with Grant and the kids is awesome, especially when he throws the raptor claw to the ground and then we cut through the gift shop to Hammond eating ice cream. And let me tell you, that scene with Hammonds monologue is unbelievable.
No... you don't need your childhood back... you need that kind of innocence, that kind of hope for the world again. But I guarantee you'd not want to go back to childhood.
When I say Jurassic is my favorite movie there are those people who as: "Why would you love a movie about people being eaten by dinosaurs? It's so awful." I think those people just completely miss the duality of what this series is. It's a commentary on not only the destructive power of nature that man can not control but also a presentation of nature's beauty. This aspect I feel was something Speilberg captured specifically in the film that Crichton only lightly captures in the book. Ultimately I think it comes down to Speilberg's skill as a director combined with William's compositions. This combination of scenes in particular (A Tree for My Bed and Petticoat Lane) really captures the childlike wonder and nostalgia Jurassic Park has to offer. A lot of us as kids had dinosaur toys we use to play with. The days of going to sleep and dreaming what it would be like to see one. We have a scene of Lex, Tim, and Allen watching the Brachiosaurs sing to each other followed by a shot of dinosaur toys on shelves. Capturing the essence of what John wanted from this park. He wanted people to find their inner child in the face of nature's giants.
Exact same reason why I love the first and second movie and think the newer ones are overrated. They've taken the concept of dangerous dinosaurs and just made the plot revolve only that. The calm and human moments you'd experience yourself in such situations are simply skipped over or have forced action cramped into them. Really well described Andrew.

XD The dinosaur has no special social requirements, fits in anywhere (even in small enclosures) perfectly and costs the least for gene modifications. Game requirements aside, the Struthiomimus is absolutely gentle and adorable.
Hearing this reminds me (31yr old man) of simpler times as a kid in the 90s. I remember watching this movie when I was only 7. From there, I became obsessed with dinosaurs. I still am, sorta. But dude, bravo on creating a nostalgic time travel experience.

I find so much peace here, just like everyone else. There's so much inherent beauty in the original movie that I feel is underwhelming and painfully missing in the successive movies. It would be quite the standout if Dominion brought some beauty back into a movie during the age of meaningless action, fire, death, destruction, and carnage with no real meaning. Everything has to be an epic spectacle, some explosive thrill. I just want something to be beautiful again in a movie. @@Jurassicparkatmospheres yeah, it works for some movies but not for a lot of them. A good comparison is Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs Kong. Both have good action and have great visuals, and more people like GvK more because it ultimately was more intense and focused more on continuous fighting (generally speaking). But I like King of the Monsters more and watch it more often because, like Jurassic Park, despite the death and destruction, there's still a much heavier focus on beauty than GvK. It may not be front and center, but the most memorable moments are the most beautiful, like when Mothra opens her wings beneath the waterfall, or when Dr. Serizawa touches Goji before dying. It will be pleasant to listen to your remaster when it gets uploaded. TLDR; I agree, I look forward to the upload, and I put way too much thought and time into a simple TH-cam comment.

Thanks, I hope to remake most of these brachiosaurus tracks in the future because my work flow and equipment is a lot more professional now and I'd like to improve the quality. I didn't think these videos were going to become so popular. I'm sure I can make a version with a rain and thunder layer (I've seen it requested a few times), but it'll be a while before I get around to it as there's lots of other movie scenes that I want to capture in this audio format.

I'm sure I can make a version with a rain and thunder layer (I've seen it requested a few times), but it'll be a while before I get around to it as there's lots of other movie scenes that I want to capture in this audio format.

I’m actually thinking of remaking the brachiosaurus tracks to be an hour each and make them more random/better quality. I’m working on some other tracks at the moment but I’ll get around to it soon hopefully

Alan- They're not monsters, Lex. They're just animals. These are herbivores.
Tim- That means they only eat vegetables, but for you I think they'd make exception

I recently found this track and my puppy and I just love it-- it's perfect for sleep. I wonder if I could request if there anyway this could be looped for 8-10 hours for sleep? My puppy wakes up as soon as it stops. I would really apprciate it, if not, I understand and thank you anyway for creating this.

How'd you get that color effect for the jp font you used?
Go to fontmeme.com, search Jurassic park font, enter your text, select an effect called Gradient-Orange-V, select red as a colour (or FF0000), then click generate and you can download the image as a png
