Not true. In terms of lyrics and flow this album is better than SSLP and possibly MMLP. Punchlines are debateable. The beats and production are obviously different era but Dre's old beats will always be the best.
Overall this album is definitely on the same level as his first 3 albums.
Obviously the main difference is the pure rage and aggression in the lyrics via sarcasm etc but that can't be compared because he would just seem weird to have that same aggression at this point

So keep in mind my favorite artists all time #1 Eminem and #2 Johnny Cash and Cash died while wife n I were on vacation in Destin FL and it just wrecked whole weekend of my vacation. I know it's silly you don't know the person but I've spent a thousand hours plus with them filling my brain and that holds heavy weight for a picky ass person like me. I do miss the 90’s and I’ll even include early 2000’s, those were when I really have the best memories. Used to be A music store in the malls called THE WALL way before FYE, they had head phone stands all over the store scan the cd bar code and you could sample any track before you bought it, when you needed someone 18 to buy A parental advisory cd or if you were lucky they didn’t give a shit. Miss those times.

Em is a case of how Hip-Hop truly saved his life. He doesn't turn it into a passion like just other artists. It's his life. He lives and breathes the essence of what Hip-Hop was meant to be. It's always funny to me how this generation now wants to cancel him, but they don't understand the true meaning of legacy and longevity anymore it seems.
It's a good thing we have some new artists who were raised on these lessons and are making the effort to keep that ideal and morally alive.
