You are looking so strong now, it's great to see. Your recovery must have gone well because this looks very much like your earlier form, just smashing it. You did the right thing keeping your head in the race, and your legs did what you asked of them. All the bits are working: prep, fuelling, hydration, robust mechanicals, pacing, and staying positive. So pleased for you, a well deserved result, and a fine looking sausage at the end. We're all proud of you over here.
Excellent vlog of your trip to race in Finland 🇫🇮 A great result Maddy and an invaluable experience, well done. Your careful preparation in recovery, and your patience is clearly paying off with podium finishes. Good luck in the next trip 💪☕️🚴
Congratulations for your second place! There were actually six women, but two of them were agegroupers. Nice to see how the beauty of the landscape is all about individual perspectives: for me the seemingly endless forests here in Finland often feel a bit dull, and every time I see cycling videos shot in the UK I feel like I am missing out something. But for gravel lovers Finland certainly has a lot of roads to offer.
Woo Hoo 2nd place with that kind of pace and strong tight field is fantastic!! Lovely race and Finland has amazing gravel from what I heard from last years version of this one. Food looked awesome too! Well done Maddy and you are back baby!!!! LOL Lots of a love as always from one of your utter nutters.
Great vlog to go with the coffee and porridge ( mine not yours) and good to see you in Rouler….hopefully your rising profile, results and role modelness will be rewarded by a more sustainable contract.
Fabulous race and another lovely video the host nation should be posting on their national tourist website! 😊
