    You have a perfectly good jointer, why joint the boards with that janky table saw jig?
    You can skip the table saw jig all together and just cut the pieces on the tablesaw like normal and book match the pieces to offset blade discrepancy.

    If you study the Shopsmith version of the double bar clamp you’ll learn a couple little details that you might want to apply to your clamps. Things like adding a slight bow tapering away from the center of each of the wooden bars. Also, I would put some polyurethane on those, and then regularly apply a pace wax to keep it from sticking.

    Comprei sargento tubular, pior aquisição, da trabalho conseguir os canos, nao fiz rosca, coloquei rebites, pq é muito caro pagar torno.
    Depois fui usar e descobri que não da pressão de aperto, ele risca todo o cano de metal e fica deslisando de acordo com o aperto que vai fazendo.
    Sargento de tubo só serve para um leve aperto.

      Essa serra de mesa é uma esquadrejadeira da balndan sec 1, e ja vem com a guia parelela, até da pra comprar separado, mas talvez tenha que fazer adaptação pra outra maquina

      I was trying to figure out why he did that and then concluded that he must not have access to a jointer, and then he uses a 14” jointer to face joint the glued-up stock. Weird.

      Or maybe he's like me: My jointer is on its side in a corner of the garage. No room for it. I'll be using his trick for the foreeseable future. ..unless I get desperate before then.

    Faltou tapar o furo com cola e pó de madeira, sem falar que não é recomendado usar "óleo de cozinha" em tábuas, gamelas utensílios desse tipo pois com o tempo fica rançoso, mas o trabalho ficou muito bonito e o grampo certamente vou fazer porque me pareceu muito útil.

    I agree with the praise for his adaptations to the traditional tools! I really liked those. One can tell that he likes exploring the “outside of the box” thinking and experimenting. Continue this philosophy for the rest of your life my friend and you will be a genius inventor for the benefit of all mankind or at the very least everyone with the pleasure to know you!

      Concerteza, pode ser cavilha, tarugo ou canal com tala, mas pra facilitar você pode colocar um sarrafo de atravessado por baixo que funciona muito bem.

    You are Mr. Jig!! Great DIY jigs throughout the whole video. I could have saved a lot of money especially on the clamps. I bought a set and they are really hard to work with because you cannot disconnect the top and move out of the way when gluing like you can with your design. I'll make a set but add a slight chamfer to the boards like suggested below

    Muy trucho las planchuelas de hierro dónde estiran son muy delgadas y por eso no tensión bien....mínimo 5mm de espesor... exitos 🎉

    The clamps are great and will give them a go myself. The jointing method is just genius, haven't seen that technique before.

      Thank you very much for the comment. This clamp is cool because it has double grip (horizontal and vertical) so that the slats are aligned on its surface.
