Jeremiah 31:31 is not the only verse talking about the new Covenant in the OT! It's just the most commonly quoted and easily remembered.
Look into Ezekiel 36:25-27, Ezekiel 18:31, Ezekiel 11:18-21 and Isaiah 59:21. There are many more! This has been prophesied and talked about a lot!! It's so wonderful and beautiful! We are so blessed to have YHWH'S Holy Spirit! Praise YHWH! 💕

I have been trying to keep the feast, pretty much on my own now for about 7 years. It has been a lot of work and although my family experienced it they didn't get it. Praise God! I was led to a small group within my church who is doing the Feast of Shavuot and on Sunday so I am so excited and blessed. Thank you for your teaching! I love them and you are a sensible pastor. I see your anointing and hear it in your words. Keep leader pastor and guard against ever becoming a religious leader. Shalom Shalom

I have never been any of the feasts and want to come. I'm trying to make this one, but my means of transportation aren't good at the time, and I want to start trying to keep and go to all the feasts
Last year was my 1st time ever celebrating. We couldn't afford to go anywhere and it was so cold outside. So we set up a tent in our living room, hung old Christmas lights on the ceiling to pretend they were stars and celebrated Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) at home. It was sooo awesome and wonderful! I had no idea what I was doing but my kids loved it and we have been so excited to celebrate again! It was bitter sweet to take down the tent after that week.
Just begin where you can and YHWH will come and make it beautiful! You don't have to go anywhere or do anything over the top. We're all just little kids trying to make our Papa happy and pleased, trying to obey Him because we love Him. 💕

Many of us spend much of our lives centered on the world's holidays created by man. We know these inside out, all the pagan customs, traditions and beliefs that are a part of them. Learning what God wants us to follow in His holy days and not follow the holidays man has given us is not all that easy for most of us. We all want to please the Father and have His blessings. It will take time to be comfortable in doing these changes and I feel if we place our trust in Him we all can succeed.

Shalom. Agreed with all that is said and have gained an added knowledge of 1 Samuel to all that said I have believed for the last 8 years or so. The Sadducees in counting the Omer in this for once got it correct.
When you look at the Nazerite vow you can see the correlation of bringing a sacrifice of your whole life and thoughts to receive the blessing and strength of Numbers 6:24 . The cost of that when you look at what Paul had to do in Acts 21:24 to pay for the sacrifice of himself and 4 others to show that he was still following the law of God.
Thought Shavuot was when ten Words came (Exodus 19-20sh then it seems to be another 50 days (maybe feast of new wine) happening with the golden calf incident? Maybe just me sorry
Thank you! On shavuot, ruach ha kodesh was poured out in Acts chapter 2. Also, YAH VEH gave Mosheh the 10 words. Right out of Exodus 20. Today is shavuot or Pentecost. The Omer is counted from the day after the shabbat during chag matzot. 7 times 7 plus one equals 50 days. The 10 words aka 10 commandments should be nailed to every church, synagogue, courthouse door beginning with The Supreme Court. And by the way, Murder NOT! is a commandment. Stop terrorizing and murdering the babies! Chag shavuot Simcha!

I will not celebrate Shavuot because I do not believe in traditions and I do believe that all things are spiritual, and that is why I stick with the preaching of your heart according to the knowledge of God Pastor Jim, that is more than I could have expected... I say it in the deepest sense possible having enjoyed the presence of God in your preaching
I pray that you will reconsider because keeping God's Feasts is about obeying His Commands to observe His appointed times. It's not about man made traditions.

It is necessary to understand the spiritual essence of being Christians, that is why the Lord descended His Spirit so that we are no longer spiritual babies. Jesus is our offering. He has paid the price… Why would we go back to the law?
Only God can require of us what we need to pay.
Yes, our Savior paid the price! So what? Do we continue to sin? And how do we define sin without the Law?
How is honoring God by following His days that He has given man any different than the bondage you are in celebrating the pagan holidays of man. You do them because you want to....We do them because we want to do them. Do you please the Father with doing the traditions, customs and beliefs that surround the days man gave you? Remember the golden calf that Israel built in God's honor in Exodus and how He punished them? When one puts up a Christmas tree, God looks at it as a pagan symbol and scripture tells us he frowns heavily on these thing we do that does not honor Him. However what you wish to do is your choice and you may do what you wish.
It's actually a beautiful and enjoyable thing. Jesus said, "If you love Me, obey My commandments." What commandments? He also said that He did nothing except that which came from the Father. His commandments and the Father's are the same. There are 7 Festivals, and the Word says that they are forever, throughout your generations (Lev. 23, I believe). Jesus died on Passover (the first Festival), He is our Unleavened Bread (the second Festival), He rose exactly on the Feast of Firstfruits (3rd), and He sent the Holy Spirit right on Shavuot. The next 3 Festivals are waiting for fulfillment (which is one of many reasons why we need to be observing them). The Feast of Trumpets is known as "the day and the hour that no man knows" because we are waiting for the appearance of the new moon, which begins the Festival. At that time, they blow the shofar 99 times, then one more time, known as "the last great trump". Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement is very likely representing the future judgement day. It's the day that the high priest would go into the Holy of Holies to make atonement for the nations (as our Messiah did and as He will sit in judgement in the future). And, finally, the Feast of Tabernacles / Sukkot, is thought to be prophetically significant of the wedding supper of the Lamb. You asked a great question. I encourage you to search out these things. It has brought so much depth and meaning to my life. And, it puts you in the rhythm and calendar that God operates on. I don't know about you, but I definitely want to be walking with Him!
Yeshua's blood saves us, and YAH's Instruction (Torah/Law) teaches us how to be holy/set apart for His purposes so we can be used by Him! When we walk in our Messiah's footsteps, we are able to draw closer to the Presence of our Father. You cannot approach the Holy One any old way you want, in soiled garments; Matt 22:11 is clear about that! Yeshua's blood saves us, but we are expected to take up our cross and follow Him, walking in His ways. Yeshua's "ways" were following the Father's Instruction. I promise it is a way FULL of blessing and JOY!! 😊
