Very True. At the time of our independence, literacy rates were low and from past 2 decades, literacy rate is increasing. Governament should make some steps to project tax as positive aspect to the 98% population (other than 2%) and invite them for paying more genuine and accurate tax. The tax payers falling in the 2% are literally paying 10% - 30% (direct tax) + 12% - 18% (indirect tax) with the sum ranging from 22% to 50%. This means, from every 100 rupees that we earn, 22 to 50 rupees are going back to governament in the form of taxes. For every 100 rupees of earning, we actually own 50 to 78 rupees. Employed citizens are ending up in paying taxes of 1/5th to half of their salaries. Over this, rent, inflations, comodities price got increased in recent years has made more painful for middle class people. A new resolution / revolution is needed to redesign the structure of the economy, finance and its flow in the society. I did not mean to support nor stand agains administration/governament.
