Tariq and Brayden have been super sloppy this season with their kills, but apparently, legit detectives don't exist in the Ghost Universe lmao I mean, I don't think Ghost or Tommy would ever set out to murder someone and not wear gloves. Brayden's fingerprints gonna be all over that dude's body and he knew what he was going there to do, even if Tariq didn't.
It definitely seems like this show was being rewritten last min because it’s a lot to tie up and abunch of things seem rushed , like why Effie’s mom NOW after 5-6 years of her being in Power , still nothing about Salim is he dead ? Where’s 2Bit ? Are they gona even Tie in Nomas brother or didn’t that just get mentioned for no reason ? Did Tate just except Caters claim that , that nobody Russian guy killed his brother or is he thinking differently? It feels like they trying their best to end it as quick as possible and forgetting a lot of plot points
They cancelled the show cause it’s cheaper to launch another spinoff or multiple with the same actors. I’d almost guarantee it that most of these storylines will continue.

I also think they kill Brayden pretty early in the next episode. I didnt see him once in the trailer when Tariq was going crazy and i think that may push him over the edge and ready to go to war. They may fight snd argue but they always have each others back and Brayden is the only one who never really betrayed Tariq and is always there for him. I keep telling people that raising kanan is a better show. Everybody complaining about how bad the writing been on this show, but I’ve been saying this since the very first episode of this show. But everybody is so adamant that this show is good so I just let everybody keep saying it and left it alone.
Yeah I think the strike and the cancellation, which from the way they’ve been inconsistent with the storylines this season I’m fully believing was abrupt so they had to rewrite shit and squeeze in a bunch of stuff. Some of these storylines feel like they were supposed to continue throughout this season into next season
Episode 8 was hands down the funniest episode out of this whole show 😂 I do feel like the writers should end it with Noma & Carter gone and Tariq goes and lives with Tasha & Yaz.
Literally the only explanation I can think of for the writers not coming back to all the deaths and there not being investigations is because ghost is cleaning up behind the scenes, but even that is so unbelievably far fetched so I’m not sure what’s going on this season.
1:10 I was thinking the same thing because in Raising Kanan, that police department STAYED busy, and if any happened to one of their own, they would squad up like bees everywhere they went. If this is the first episode after the writers strike, that makes sense why it was so dry. You could feel the energy and kinda see the disappointment on the character's faces that the show was going to end. The giveaway was Monet wear those rose shades the whole episode, like she's trying to hide her worry like, " Damn, I got these alimony payments in real life, what am I going to do for a check now?"

I agree as far as Cain & Effie. They have really grown on me. I hate her & Tariq we’re ever an item atp. Her & Cain are a better fit. Maybe a flirty relationship that dissolved would’ve been ok with her & Tariq. I feel like all the bodies will go unanswered bc there is no time unless arrests are made.
I was entertained by the episode not necessarily my favorite since it was basically a build up for the finale. I would expect something to happen to Brayden for the body, like him getting arrested or something

Great video but the cast already mentioned that they were finished with season 4 1day before the writers strike and they writers and some of the cast didn't know this was the last season until the middle of them doing season 4 and in reference to Salim and Steve murder it's alot of unsolved murders in real life with college students and regular people that the police or detectives haven't solved because of no witnesses or lack of evidence so I can believe that because it's in real life situations but I think episode 8 was a great filler episode leading in to episode 9

It bothers me that Diana put Tasha’s life in danger and Tariq seems to have moved on from that when he killed his father over his mother. Then he keeps popping up on Tasha potentially blowing her cover. Tariq is sloppy and not strategic like his father no way he’s made it this far unscathed, only way I see this even being believable is if Ghost is alive and been cleaning up his messes all along

Season 4 ended b4 the writers strike back in May 2023…The writers have changed especially since the show runner from empire took over the show since season 3, in season 3, most of the OG writers left at that time.
I just started this series, because I just didn't care for it. But I speed watch to get caught up as this season is ending. I think the writer strike hurt this, matter of fact that strike hurt a lot of show. But, them trying give the people Effie story now, seems lazy, unless she getting a spin off. I think Cane is gonna die for Effie. But her mom showing up now, they could have saved that for the spin off. If Ghost did have a brother, I feel it would be Davis, Tariq and Davis are tight. It just seems like their relationship is more connected than just business. It about to be a Quadruple Cross. Carter gonna get clapped, Norma gonna get clapped, the other cop gonna get clapped, Dru and Cane gonna clapped each other. With the help of Tate. Tate knows Carter is dirty and he knows Carter clapped his brother. Tate is still dirty and still got connections. He did say " I used to be a cop" to Carter. Once the show was announced it was being canceled, it seems like they rushing to get this over with. Bring on Raising Kanan.
I just thought about this but I think this book 2 will end with every one going down for the crimes they have committed but only a couple like maybe Effie and Diana escaping with Tariq to Force or another spin off. Because last nights episode was super light and with only 2 episodes left and tons of clues pointing directly to them (not to mention how many people have actual proof evidence and acquaintances with these mfs…) someone has to die and someone has to go down for this. Most of them in fact. I think they leave a lot of characters dead. A lot in prison. And Tariq just escapes and leaves them all behind. Open ended to revisit another day and see how shit went for them. Either that or we getting Power Book 5 : Inmates. And it will be a continuation from inside a few cells. This episode was underwhelming. I also think the first part and the second part don’t feel totally related. Feels choppy and like they forced a few of the main plots to carry over and decided to totally drop other plot lines. I hate the fact that Tate wasn’t really part of the season and the final showdown between Noma/Carter vs Tariq and the Tejadas just seems like… we already know who will win
Personally I think the writers kept Noma around WAAAY too long! She should have BEEN gone. The storyline feels disjointed & all over the place. It’s like they’re trying to hurry up and close it out so they can continue the other spinoffs. They have 2 more episodes to get it together otherwise it’s going to be a huge disappointment!

I don't know if it's a fact but Michael Rainy Jr. Said he actually knew way before thar this series was ending and just took a page out of 50s book to troll us and drum up interest. My opinion is Tommu and Tariq are the next spin off and the first season will be against the Italians. Dru told Carter the guns were being delivered to Italians which is weird because no Italians have really been in this series. Then Effies mom appears and I don't think it's coincidence she is from one of the most Iconic Italian American shows of all times the Sopranos. With that being said. what if Effies mom is Italian, which makes Effie Italian, and maybe that's the story of her initial plug at Choat. Maybe besides her step dad being a perv also Effirs Italian side really didn't except her because she wasn't "full Italian" and on top of that you can tie in Lisa Marie Proctor and that family being that Tommy did that to her and Procter but also took out a whole crew if Italians trying yo get to Ghosy after Tariq let them know. Also, in Force, a guy said he talked to some people about Tommy in NY, so maybe the mafia knows he's alive. So maybe they are setting up the next book and the Tejada/Stansfield chapter is over..

Power Book 2 Season 4 Production began on January 21st 2023 and ended on July 13th 2023. The WGA writers strike began May 2, 2023. The SAG-AFTRA actors Strike was announced on July 13, 2023. (which is the day they abruptly ended production) Book 2’s budget had already exceeded what LionsGate was comfortable paying; and both the writers strike & actors strike meant that all the actors and writers would be expecting pay increases moving forward. The Writers strike was first threatened in March of 2023 so none of the actors knew going into season 4 in January that this would be their last. Once the decision was made to end things; the writers and actors had to make the best out of a bad situation and “rush” to bring Book 2 to an end. (and it shows)

They got done tge day before it took place the season was already written. So they still did what they had too before the actor strike.

I agree as far as Cain & Effie. They have really grown on me. I hate her & Tariq we’re ever an item atp. Her & Cain are a better fit. Maybe a flirty relationship that dissolved would’ve been ok with her & Tariq. I feel like all the bodies will go unanswered bc there is no time unless arrests are made.
I was entertained by the episode not necessarily my favorite since it was basically a build up for the finale. I would expect something to happen to Brayden for the body, like him getting arrested or something

I think Cane is going to be the wild card that will surprise us all. I think Cane set up for Carter and Noma to meet through Nicco. Cane knows what happened to Felicia. Noma wasn't with Cane when he made the deal with Nicco. Cane and Nicco could have agreed on anything before hand.

Great video but the cast already mentioned that they were finished with season 4 1day before the writers strike and they writers and some of the cast didn't know this was the last season until the middle of them doing season 4 and in reference to Salim and Steve murder it's alot of unsolved murders in real life with college students and regular people that the police or detectives haven't solved because of no witnesses or lack of evidence so I can believe that because it's in real life situations but I think episode 8 was a great filler episode leading in to episode 9

This was like a filler episode or set up one. Imo Davis and Cane's pissing contest was weird. Why B girl got coke from another dealer when her partner is a dealer.😮 I'm worried about Davis that convo with Tariq & Monet about loyalty. It bothers me that Diana put Tasha’s life in danger and Tariq seems to have moved on from that when he killed his father over his mother. Then he keeps popping up on Tasha potentially blowing her cover. Tariq is sloppy and not strategic like his father no way he’s made it this far unscathed, only way I see this even being believable is if Ghost is alive and been cleaning up his messes all along

Season 4 ended b4 the writers strike back in May 2023…The writers have changed especially since the show runner from empire took over the show since season 3, in season 3, most of the OG writers left at that time.
I just started this series, because I just didn't care for it. But I speed watch to get caught up as this season is ending. I think the writer strike hurt this, matter of fact that strike hurt a lot of show. But, them trying give the people Effie story now, seems lazy, unless she getting a spin off. I think Cane is gonna die for Effie. But her mom showing up now, they could have saved that for the spin off. If Ghost did have a brother, I feel it would be Davis, Tariq and Davis are tight. It just seems like their relationship is more connected than just business. It about to be a Quadruple Cross. Carter gonna get clapped, Norma gonna get clapped, the other cop gonna get clapped, Dru and Cane gonna clapped each other. With the help of Tate. Tate knows Carter is dirty and he knows Carter clapped his brother. Tate is still dirty and still got connections. He did say " I used to be a cop" to Carter. Once the show was announced it was being canceled, it seems like they rushing to get this over with. Bring on Raising Kanan.
I just thought about this but I think this book 2 will end with every one going down for the crimes they have committed but only a couple like maybe Effie and Diana escaping with Tariq to Force or another spin off. Because last nights episode was super light and with only 2 episodes left and tons of clues pointing directly to them (not to mention how many people have actual proof evidence and acquaintances with these mfs…) someone has to die and someone has to go down for this. Most of them in fact. I think they leave a lot of characters dead. A lot in prison. And Tariq just escapes and leaves them all behind. Open ended to revisit another day and see how shit went for them. Either that or we getting Power Book 5 : Inmates. And it will be a continuation from inside a few cells. Idk what else it could be at this point

Noma situation supposed to be some top dog and kills Obie so where's the rest of her operation?! How is these youngsters her main operation with Davis added😭😭😭 Effie mom's reveal they could of kept that anonymous it did nothing. Everything is all over the place it makes no sense.

This episode was underwhelming. I also think the first part and the second part don’t feel totally related. Feels choppy and like they forced a few of the main plots to carry over and decided to totally drop other plot lines. I hate the fact that Tate wasn’t really part of the season and the final showdown between Noma/Carter vs Tariq and the Tejadas just seems like… we already know who will win
If they show us the little things people do then y’all complaining it’s not action and it’s filler episodes just make up y’all minds

It’s like they’re trying to hurry up and close it out so they can continue the other spinoffs. They have 2 more episodes to get it together otherwise it’s going to be a huge disappointment!

The second half of this Season (4) is a disappointment. Unless they're planning to continue some of these storylines into the next Power Book, i don't see how they are going to tie up all these threads.

I don't know if it's a fact but Michael Rainy Jr. Said he actually knew way before thar this series was ending and just took a page out of 50s book to troll us and drum up interest. My opinion is Tommu and Tariq are the next spin off and the first season will be against the Italians. Dru told Carter the guns were being delivered to Italians which is weird because no Italians have really been in this series. Then Effies mom appears and I don't think it's coincidence she is from one of the most Iconic Italian American shows of all times the Sopranos. With that being said. what if Effies mom is Italian, which makes Effie Italian, and maybe that's the story of her initial plug at Choat. Maybe besides her step dad being a perv also Effirs Italian side really didn't except her because she wasn't "full Italian" and on top of that you can tie in Lisa Marie Proctor and that family being that Tommy did that to her and Procter but also took out a whole crew if Italians trying yo get to Ghosy after Tariq let them know. Also, in Force, a guy said he talked to some people about Tommy in NY, so maybe the mafia knows he's alive. So maybe they are setting up the next book and the Tejada/Stansfield chapter is over..
Sorry but you’re the one that’s misinformed… Not only was their a writers strike, but it was immediately followed by an actors strike. Power Book 2 Season 4 Production began on January 21st 2023 and ended on July 13th 2023. The WGA writers strike began May 2, 2023. The SAG-AFTRA actors Strike was announced on July 13, 2023. (which is the day they abruptly ended production) Book 2’s budget had already exceeded what LionsGate was comfortable paying; and both the writers strike & actors strike meant that all the actors and writers would be expecting pay increases moving forward. The Writers strike was first threatened in March of 2023 so none of the actors knew going into season 4 in January that this would be their last. Once the decision was made to end things; the writers and actors had to make the best out of a bad situation and “rush” to bring Book 2 to an end. (and it shows)

They got done tge day before it took place the season was already written. So they still did what they had too before the actor strike.
