- As we come to the end of Power Book 2 Ghost Season 4 Episode 10 and the actual series of Power Book 2 Ghost as a whole. We were given the ending for a lot of these characters from Cane Tejada, Dru, Diana, Monet, Effie and Brayden Weston, as well as Davis MacLean getting his law license back. However, a few of the biggest talking points is Cane Tejada going on the run, how Noma was taken off the chess board and how in Power Ghost, Tariq St Patrick is now the biggest drug dealer in New York City. However, will he be staying in New York? Towards the end of Power Book 2 Ghost Season Finale, we saw Tariq receiving a call from none other than Tommy Egan, and so this call at the end of Ghost Season 4 Episode 10 Finale, we can only assume will set up the cross over to Tommy Egan's spin off in Chicago in Force Season 3 after the conclusion of Power Book 2 Ghost Season 4.
In this breakdown I run through all the clues, Easter Eggs and explained all details from an episode which was brilliantly written by Victoria Ashley Hudson and an episode which will change the landscape of The Power Universe forever.

I'm just glad Cane survived. Everyone on this show is talented, but Woody McClain really got to show his acting range this season. Cane in easily one of the best characters in Power.

Who would’ve thought Diana would turn this dark. Lost her kid, mom and dad. Pushed her into getting in the game fully. Killing Anya was WILD. Dru is the only one who really got out like he wanted. Tariq ended up running NY just like ghost. And we went back to the original trio. Tariq Effie and Brayden. I personally like how it all came back to where it all started. The next book should do a time jump if they ever come back to this story

This can really live on like a soap opera because he is so young and they can play this story out for years.

I cant lie Nomas acting when Anya died was A1. Im glad Cane survived. Im not gone lie, Effie giving Cane her tuition was a major shock for me. Effie has always been loyal to Effie. I didnt see that coming. The finale definitely surpassed what I thought would happen. How I thought it would happen.
No Tariq has her loyalty. He used Lauryn as a pawn to test Effie’s loyalty to him. That’s why she’s apart of his team after taking out the OPPs. Everything she did for him to say she betrayed him she was actually supposed to do to prove her loyalty to him. He just played her like she betrayed him. He didn’t give a damn about Lauryn he used her to test Effie and put his revenge plot together. He didn’t want them thinking she was for him. Look where Effie at now. They gave us a lot of hints too like him being in her room pillow talking. That’s because he knows he could trust her. The rest of them he didn’t give a damn if they died but he planted Effie with them.
Shouldn't have been shocking ..he kept her in school paying her tuition. She been taking care of him since in some way

I feel like everything was rushed and plots were ignored. Junior was a cop & an investigation was barely made to look into it. Paz cared more about her sister than her own son. No graduation, no reaction to Tate finding out Carter killed his brother, no service for Monet is wild! Pinky was just a fill character, feel like she could’ve found out the unknown, and there’s so much more plots I can mention. They gotta come with another chapter after this. Ironically the next season of Force is the last so I’m sure they’ll combine Tariq’s story with Tommy’s and the finale of Ghost with the extra credit was evident on that.

So,Diana wanting to stay in the game made a lot of sense. She accepted this is her fate. She still needs to pay for school and maintain her life. As for the phone call, it could also be Diana. She always calls Tariq when she’s in trouble. I’ve never seen Tommy calling Tariq to help him but, I could be wrong. It seems like an open- ending, where a spin- off can happen with Diana. 🤷🏽♀️

5 things that stand out on the final episode of Ghost:
1) Tariq now has Carter’s task force on his pocket.
2) Cane got his revenge on Noma. Because the law-enforcement in New York was looking for him. I definitely look forward to seeing him going to Atlanta, in his own spin-off especially that’s where Noah was supposed to escape to.
3) Davis got his law license back.
4) Diana end up killing Anya. It looks to rebuild the business. & the only Tejada stay behind. Dru going to Paris to pursue his dream and art.
5)In the post-credit Tariq received a call which looks to be that Tommy the trouble duo is going to team up in Chicago. I hope he does meet Diamond and Jenard He definitely needs to throw hands and needs a boxing lessons.

Apart of Tariq’s revenge plot. He been playing her close since they met. That’s why he was on her like that. He don’t mess with the Tejadas you see he let them go on a suicide mission to kill Noma and they lost Monet. They needed Monet she’s the brains behind their business.
Tariq still has a lot of growing to do but he righted some of Ghost's wrongs in the end.
He sent Tasha and Yaz away so they can't be harmed
He's fully committed to the game and refusing to start a family while in it.
He has cops on payroll.
He's completely honest with his lawyer and includes him in decisions.
Effie and Brayden have clear roles and boundaries. (Smartest thing he did was make Brayden his worker instead of his partner. Tommy and Ghost constantly undermined each other and that was a big part of Ghost's downfall.)
There was a few things I felt like they could have done to clean up some storylines but outside of that, solid ending. Ready for Force

The dope thing about it is they can spin the best characters off for cheaper rather keeping it all together. Actors can probably still maintain their raises but on an entirely new show where they can start from scratch new cast and all. Plus, now that Riq is a boss he's about to link up with his Uncle.

I agree there won't be another season of Ghost but in a way there's no need. This was juniors origin story into the game. He can pop in and out like he's about to with his Uncle or whenever another spinoff character needs some help in NY but there's no need to see him for a long while.
They are not going to end the show to still keep all the main characters in the new one. The reason the show was canceled was cuz they didn’t wanna pay the actors more. What’s the point of keeping them all in a spin off ? For that you keep on with the same show and just kill monet that’s all

And, ten years later, Tariq will have reopened Truth, and one day see Lauren walking in and begin reminiscing about the past. He will rekindle things with Lauren, alienated his family, and be killed his son.

There is one inconsistency! Felecia Lewis told Det Carter that she had the only copy of Tariq and Brayden killing Zion. That she had wiped it off the system. But in this episode they did not mention Carter having her phone with the video. All of a sudden it was back on the police system.
Gotta assume he downloaded it from her phone back into the system as leverage

That was a smart move from all of them. The way Cane took out Noma was awesome asf. I rate Cane for that lol. I honestly didn't like him alot until now at season finale and i hope he gets a spin-off, well deserved. Carter got broken all the way down, i loved that. It's about time he gets humbled. And great to see everyone else get out without not even a scratch especially Tariq and Davis. What a great ending.
Even though ghost book II was cut short with only 4 seasons this was a good run for all of the characters especially the ones who survived in the end. Like they’ve said before the characters who don’t die can easily come back so we might just see another spin off in the future. Tariq & cane definitely deserve to have their characters brought back
