Complication is a part of the procedure.You cannot forsee this. So media should get this correct. Any donot blame all healthcare professionals ,donot generalise, because of this incident. Not identifying and acting promptly was the issue here. Ministry of health is paralysed because it doesnot monitor these things and cannot in 100 years. I am sorry for your loss and salute for taking the right step going to the court rather than bargaining for money and vandalising the hospital and hcp. This is the correct way. Sad news! This hospital is extremely negligent and not to proper care to the patient. I have also some experience with this hospital where I was treated.
Heartfelt condolences to the family.Each medical team should have their medical license cancelled by Nepal medical Council and Nepal Nursing Council immediately where they can no longer practice anymore. Bitter truth loved one will no longer will be with us but the hospital should be heavily sued for medical negligence so that this incident becomes a lesson for all. The way they administered the drugs(medication) it’s a crime. This hospital should be thoroughly investigated and this family should get justice.
